Nice hotel, we liked it. The thing that bothered was that under the chair no filzi were you were not allowed to push the then then it was very loud.

Rooms are absolutely fine but once you have a room to the street you don't get any rest. Even when the window is closed, the cars drive almost next to her. I was here a few years ago and I have more than complained about that. One would be comforted that the windows will soon be better insulated. Can only recommend the hotel with a room to the yard.

It has always been here, the special feeling of living high above the roofs of the city and Dresden is at your feet with all its history. The staff reflects the nature of the cosmopolitan city: friendly, helpful and always with good advice, they are on hand. The Best Western Macrander, I am sure, impresses with the care of its guests and the spent a good time.

Lovely accommodation facilities, very good breakfast, but very unfriendly staff, except Julia Behle at the reception — she was the only helpful and cheerful person to contact.

The city centre is easily accessible by tram.

Cosy hotel in a quiet location. Centrally located to the highway. The New Town is within walking distance, always likes to come.

On the whole, all right.
Little things like dropping paper dispensers could be criticized. But would be whining at a high level.

Excellent and well located hotel in Dresden Neustadt. The bar is an improvement as we only wanted to stay and there are plenty of other options in the area, no point deduction.

The staff were very friendly and the room was clean. No problem with the road. Particularly Maria is great. We like to come back!

Stayed 3 nights. The reception was friendly and we were able to purchase our room directly. The rooms are large, modern and the cleaning fairies perform excellent work. The bathroom is large enough but nothing for people who have problems climbing a bathtub. The bed is unfortunately much too soft for my taste (back pain was the result of me).
What is not mentioned on the homepage is that the Eellnessbereich is located in the neighbouring hotel and you have to Buckelauf the farm to reach the area. Due to these circumstances and the current temperatures we have not made use of them. The breakfast room is bright and modern in style. If it is too crowded, you have the possibility to avoid the neighbouring hotel without extra charge.
The breakfast is plentiful, appetizingly prepared and offers for my taste everything you need to start well in the day.
The parking garage can be used for 11/night.
A hotel that you can recommend from my point of view.
The only real drawback for me was the bed.

OK, Standard room for 65, — €. TV big enough, bathroom clean, big bed. No minibar. There are vending machines in the lobby with beer, coke, etc.

Very good hotel. Also our dog was greeted very friendly. The food from the room service was totally delicious, so we had to go eat often. How to get back.

The hotel is about a 15 minute drive from the airport.
When I entered the double room, I was a little surprised that the traffic from the street was so noisy. I looked for the window to see if it was open. But it was closed. For a surcharge of 15, — € on the regular room rate you can get a room in Hofrichtung. Those who are sensitive to noise should use this.
The room is large and designed with laminate. In order not to slip in the morning after getting up, the staff had laid towels on the bed, which can then be placed in front of the bed. The shower curtain in the small bathroom appeared clean, but such Keimteile have nothing to look for in a 4 star hotel. I didn't have breakfast. But it should have been very good.
At checkout, the young man at the front desk was somewhat overwhelmed with the number of guests. It was only at the urging of several hotel guests that he organized a second colleague. The hotel is a 4 star hotel, sorry of me there is only 3. And more is not worth it either.

Very clean hotel. Staff very nice and the breakfast buffet in the next hotel was the hammer! Has never had such a class and extensive buffet! Madness!

The hotel is very clean. Staff is helpful and very friendly. Breakfast is amazing and very delicious, you won't miss anything. If the wellness and spa area is not actually being repaired or the restaurant closed — like now — it's a great hotel. We had the chance to use the sauna and pool for our first evening and then they needed to repair something which is why it was closed the next day. As well the restaurant needed repairing so it was closed too (the restaurant is next door in the (adjacent) Marriott Hotel. A snack was however available in the Best Western dining area and they've got drinks, too. The bus stop is just right across the street and there are buses going all the time and if you're coming back late at night there are trams going all night if you don't mind walking a few minutes and as well you can use a special taxi service which substitutes several tram or bus services and doesn't cost any additional charge — it's included in the regular ticket.

Gemütliche Zimmer mit wirklich schöner Aussicht auf Dresden, wenn man weit oben wohnt. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilft einem gern weiter. Ein kleiner Minusbereich ist, dass man für den Wellnessbereich in das Nachbarhotel gehen muss und er recht klein ist. Aber für ein paar Minuten Entspannung und ein kleines Bad reicht es allemal. Generell zufrieden, kleine Abzüge in der B-Note.

I've been coming here for years. Close to the Dresden Neustadt train station. Helpful staff. Clean and quiet. Very reasonably priced.

Clean hotel, nice staff, nice quiet room. Very nice also is the pool in the neighboring house and the cheap price. Good bus connection, because stop at the door. However, the bed was quite narrow and the mattress much too soft. I would have liked to have a good breakfast at a 4 star hotel.

It is good located and the rooms is very clean. You have water and towels in the reception when you come buck from jogging. Breakfast is also good and it is a quiet place.

Location is around 10 minute walk from the Bischofplatz station. Rooms are nice.

We booked and were confirmed online for a business room. However upon arrival we were first given a standard room and upon request we were offered one of their handicap rooms (furnished like a hospital room) which we declined following which we were provided with a much smaller standard room (quarter the size). The room was comfortable and overlooking the park with limited view of Dresden.
Unfortunately we were charged for a superior room (same prize than the business room) because as quoted "it offered a view of downtown Dresden" which it didn't.
The breakfast for 15€ per person is quite expensive for the quality of the food provided. The food is served until 10am unfortunately within two minutes after 10 all the food had been removed by the staff and I was left sitting there while the staff was busy cleaning the tables around me; Very unprofessional.
I'm a "Diamond Best Western Member". The Macrander Hotel is twined with the Marriott Hotel and they share facilities, very unfortunate and the Best Western staff appeared to be from the Marriott Hotel.
Will I stay in the Best Western Macrander Hotel again? I will have to seriously consider my options.
We were given a 15€ discount per night by the front desk staff which was very sympathetic and apologized that we were not provided with our confirmed accommodation.

Generally ok. But missing some of accessories. Approach to the swimming pool not good.

Very professional and friendly staff (I didn't have any special requests though, so my only contact points were checking in and out and breakfast), nice and clean room, good location with restaurants and bars within walking distance and connection to the city centre.

Surprisingly very good. Great value for money hotel in a beautiful quaint part of Dresden. Easily accessible to anywhere. Stayed here for business. Conveniently located between the industry hub and City centre. Good breakfast, nice staff, adequate amenities. Will be back.

Very nice hotel with large, modernly furnished rooms. Very friendly staff and great breakfast buffet. If you don't want to park on the road since the vehicle, you can use the large, ground-level parking garage. Overall highly recommended!

Rooms are quite clean and reasonably large, reception was small but appropriate connected wellness Holiday Inn friendly. The restaurant is very expensive and offers no good value for money, there are much better at walking distance.

Best Western is somewhat secluded. I spent a night there, had actually had booked the Holiday Inn. The best Western is rather a business hotel, none where you vacation want to make.
Positive: the kettle for tea and cappuccino in the room. I would like to highlight also the breakfast and the friendly staff. Wi-Fi is also free of charge, for that you get a code at the reception.
For short stays the best suitable sure Western, where there are also more favourable offers in Dresden.

Unfortunately, my room is next to the road. Impossible to sleep even if there is not too much car. Soundproofing is near zero. The main goal of an hotel is to sleep. This goal is not achieved in this one. 2 Stars because it's at least clean.

The rooms are clean. The staff is courteous. Beds are comfortable. In the neighbouring Hotel there is a Bar with good facilities in the Hotel directly 24-hour reception and a Bar with basic equipment. TV is with Sky, however, is apparently still in Analog. But that is the Only thing here is to suspend. :)

The Hotel is super, I can only recommend it.

As an event agency, we organize hotel golf tournaments as a communicative framework programmes for corporate and private events. In the Macrander, we have very often performed such events and the customers are always impressed.
The staff is great and the mutual communication and organization runs super.
We can recommend it very well as a conference hotel.
