I have been to the Hotel Lindner Wiesensee many times. By the way, very often in other Lindner hotels in general. So I've had enough of a comparison opportunity. I had booked a higher category for over 170, —. I expect something for that. Room in general was actually great and very large. However, I expect to be fully functional in the category. When I arrived in the room in the evening, I couldn't turn on the TV and had to repair the remote control/batteries. By the way, the TV was far too small for my taste and for the room category and technically "an old hat. " When I was able to do that, I have to realize that the TV system or the TV. The connector does not work. I immediately reported this to the front desk and asked for repair. When I came back from my evening date later, the TV device ran and worked. Unfortunately, however, this was only a short time. After I switched over a few times, the connection was unfortunately broken again and had to end the evening without TV, as a change of room was out of the question for me. That's when I would have had to pack it all up again, etc …
The next morning at Check Out (09:00), unfortunately, there was no decision maker on site to give me the following. Could set up a small accommodation. Someone would contact me by phone.
That happened, too. The lady had apologized and mentioned that there would probably be problems with the signal in the whole of Westerburg because it snowed a bit. Strangely, all the people I asked from Westerburg had no problems. The lady from the hotel wanted to make it clear to me that this is a force majeure and I was offered a room swap. Actually, she didn't want to accommodate me in any way. Only after several requests from my side, she had promised me an upgrade for my next visit.
Sorry, even if such a solution is completely OK for me. The way the hotel deals with the topic is simply completely unprofessional and not service — or customer-oriented. But that's exactly what I expect from such a hotel.
Other: I don't know what's wrong with the hotel. So far, everything has always been great, nice and service-oriented. Then, when I went for breakfast, I wanted to sit down in the pavilion towards the lake. Unfortunately, it has to be determined that this was not possible. It's covered for dinner! It seems to be too much work to insert the heart of the hotel 2x a day. During my past stays, I had always been able to have breakfast there without any problems.
Unfortunately, the service staff at breakfast was suitable for the entire stay. After 10 minutes sitting I still hadn't been able to order a cafe as no staff could be seen. When I went in search of it, I had found the ladies all together behind the bar in one room and was then able to successfully order my café. Unfortunately, I had to disrupt the women's round.
Conclusion: So far always a super hotel with pleasant stay. Unfortunately the last one fully walked into the pants. Let's see how it goes.
