Not only is the location ideal, overlooking the Rhine river, with its terrace, but the food is truly awesome! We’ve been enjoying the menu for about a dozen times, and have not been disappointed once. The wines are delicious and very reasonably priced. Not to forget: the friendly service. Thanx, Magda and Ms Mudersbach. Last week we stayed in a room for the first time; it was an extraordinary experience with a panoramic view, tasteful furnishings as well as all the amenities one could wish for. Wi-Fi was a bit weak up in the room, it needs to be improved. Other than that, a perfect experience: What’s not to like here?

All of it the hotel is great if you want great food great place to stay go there.

Despite the reservation, the ordered place was not available for us and we were swept away by the service with flimsy reasons!

Located just outside hotel and restaurant. In the same house is the winery Lorenz. The restaurant offers first-class Rhine panorama and truly excellent cuisine. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are fine, but here and there you will have to renovate soon. All this at very fair prices.

Room unfortunately very small. Water temperature in the shower cannot be set sensibly, as no one-handed mixer. If the temperature is then set, this fluctuates very strongly. Water pressure very low. Restaurant was very tasty, service unfortunately somewhat overwhelmed. Sitting in front of empty glasses for 30-40 minutes is unfortunately not very nice. Great and delicious wine selection.

We were on our bike and put in a stop to strengthen ourselves a bit. We were warmly received and we were served very tasty and inexpensive food. The wine of the in-house winery was also very good. Absolute recommendation.

Highly recommended. Nice competent Staff. Good Location right on the Rhine. Super delicious Food and gigantic Dessert. Mobile Connection because of the Mountains bad, Hotel WI-FI slow, but you want to finally relax and not deal with its Equipment all Day long. Therefore, concealed. Wellness Offers are also available in the House. Prices are sometimes high, but quite reasonable! Again at any Time. You can already say "Insider tip. " Looking Forward to the next time. My visit of 25/26 May 2018 (room 23). From the outside inconspicuous and small —, however, very nice and large from the inside. Very nice and friendly staff. Excellent food at moderate prices. Clean accommodation. Great terrace with great views of the castle and the Rhine. Very good walking opportunities right on the Rhine, almost on the doorstep. Very good parking. One drawback: Very poor mobile radio connections because surrounded by mountains. Hotel Wi-Fi is available, but slow. Otherwise highly recommended and certainly not my last visit.

My favourite hotel in Goar. Super location, very clean. Perfect for cyclists. All very friendly. No advance payment.

Have made the trip over Rewe travel, very good price — performance ratio.
The room was good and will meet the classification (3 stars).
The offer included a very good 4 course menu with wine tasting, unfortunately the chef was very economical at the wine tasting.
One does not want to get drunk but to fill more than the bottom of the wine glass should already be in a producer.
All in all recommended…

A little pricey for lunch but I was shocked how good the food was. We stumbled upon this place taking a break from cycling. Food was memorable and delicious. View of the town across the Rhine was fantastic. Service was very German but friendly enough. English happily spoken!

Very nice overlooking nice changing clean — friendly — the Rhine-

We did not stay here, but we accidentally stop here, and noticed from the side of the hotel parking lot near river bank, it has a very good view of the Burg Maus (Mouse Castle), told by the friendly staff, and learned that there is mouse, thus there is the cat — the Burg Katz.

Very nice establishment, I really suggest dining here during daylight so you can enjoy the awesome view on the river Rhine. The food was very good, not too little and not too much. They also have very good wines of various types which can be tasted in the restaurant and bought by the bottle as well. Very friendly service. Will definitely come here again.
