We were satisfied with our spontaneous quarter for an overnight stay. Clean, but 'something' in need of overhaul. The bathroom quite narrow, but renovated. The friendliness of the staff is particularly noteworthy and really very much! Good breakfast buffet!

Nice rooms, might be a little small, but still more than enough space. Awesome breakfast buffet, but what really makes this place is the incredibly friendly and helpful personnel. 4 stars because there's no AC.

At a short weekend we had everything you needed there. The rooms were clean the staff very nice and the breakfast rich. Only recommended.

Cute service staff, accommodation makes a clean impression, rooms close to the elevator not very quiet, breakfast buffet could be designed a bit more sophisticated.

Rooms are clean but a bit out of date. Bath was small but also clean. Staff were very friendly.

The hotel is a bit old, but it is run with so much love by Mrs. Scholz. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the food is also fantastic you feel at home.

Older but lovingly run hotel near the university. The prices are fair, breakfast rich and good. The rooms could be more modern, but that's the only thing to ' grumble '. I would stay here again at any time.
Also the attached restaurant is highly recommended and priced fair.

The location is great and the rooms clean. The breakfast was excellent. Renovation works are taking place. Unfortunately, my room was not yet refurbished and thus shone in the 80/90s charm with a double bed.

Clean and friendly hotel with great breakfast buffet. The TV reception is cruel and the location rather 3 class. 15 minutes by bus. I would say 2, 5 stars.

Overall a nice hotel with elevator and modern furnished small rooms. There is free Wi-Fi access and sky in the rooms. Only the tube TVs and the tiles of the bath are still very retro. Also the one point deduction. The small in-house restaurant is also recommended and I like to use it after a busy day. If I am in Koblenz, I will be happy to return.

The bathroom was a bit older but OK.

I felt like mom, grandma at home. Mrs. Scholz gave many hints for visits to the city. Thanks for that. All the staff were good on it, cordially, always net in the "Snack" (Bin Mecklenburger). Food also tastes like mom. Was on a business trip, but I took a vacation. A very dear greeting to all the people in the hotel.

Clean, helpful staff, good food, comfortable clean rooms. Only downside for me was it being a little too hot in the public areas where I couldn't do anything about. All together recommended.

Great location, good price, nice staff. The bed was too soft and the ventilation too noisy.

Zimmer war sauber aber sehr alt. Frühstück war okay.

Okay, to say this: The hotel would have deserved three stars from the furnishings of the rooms here, but: the staff is so incredibly friendly and we also have late evening (unfortunately in traffic jams) an incredibly tasty dinner Get served… I just have to give four stars. But for those who want to take a longer vacation: One night is okay, for longer you should probably treat yourself to a hotel with more stars. The breakfast was good and plentiful. So the four stars here are also worthy of the rating. (Stand 09/2017)

Really helpful & friendly staff. Great breakfasts and generous dinners for hungry cyclists. Spacious room and easy to find on the bike. Highly recommended.

It is one among the most cost effective hotel. Breakfast is very good and the staff's are very friendly.

Nice place to stay for a one night. Close to the city center. Tastefull breakfast.

Kind receptionist. Good breakfast. Rooms differed a lot, but overall they had everything needed. But carpets on the ground were a bit annoying. Overall a satisfying experience.

The price fits the room. The breakfast was really good, and the staff were very kind and helpful. The location was a little far away from the Altstadt, but nothing a short bus ride or long stroll in warm weather can't solve. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable. We had a family room, which was actually an old apartment in an adjacent building. The room was OK for sleeping and showering, but pretty boring otherwise. The TVs were small and outdated and the balcony overlooked a parking lot behind the building. I still think this place would be great for an adventurous family or group of people.

Hotel Scholz lies a little bit outside the city-center of Koblenz. Someone else had booked it fort me, so I did not know what to expect. The 65 euro pricetag (good breakfast included) is probably right, allthough the room was quite small. My room was on the 4th floor, under the roof and allthough it wasn't really warm outsicde, the room was. The hotel was being renovated and quirky light features were added to the rooms and hallways.

Some of the tiny rooms in the style of the 90s. The bathroom is clean and modern, the arms out when dry but also more difficult.
The most annoying was well in my case, that right in front of the window with heavy freight railway ran in the night and the bed between elevator and corridor. So, sound sleep in the night is not possible.
The breakfast is so far the only positive. It is rich and offers enough choice for everyone.
All in all this hotel never again!

The location of the hotel is good: German corner, as well as the city centre are walking distance. The rooms are simple and have a tube TV. Here, the rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast buffet is rich. In the direct vicinity of the hotel there are free parking facilities. The free Wi-Fi in the hotel works well. The room prices are reasonable.

Unfortunately that has stopped time there, approx. In the 80s or 90s. Only the bathrooms have been renovated at some point.
So any 3 star.

As a Newmarket Tour Manager I visit many hotels in the year and I found this hotel just fitted the bill while we were going to the Christmas Markets in this area in December 2015. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast set us up for the day and the evening meals were varied and tasteful. The rooms were a variety on newly furnished and the traditional style for the area. Parking for the hotel was very well organised by the hotel. All in all a great experience.

Decent hotel with good value for money. Simple rooms but clean. Right in the middle between the city center and the university, so it's an ideal location if you need to go to both places. There's a bus stop almost at the front door, bringing you to either of those (but it's also very walkable if you prefer).

Nice and clean rooms, good food. Very satisfied.
