Food has always been delicious, the prices are civil and on the terrace it sits fine. From time to time it's on the operation (speed, understanding). All in all, a recommendation. Best Calzone in the area according to my wife.

Quite good for a low budget hotel.

Dinner: Pizzas were ok, average I would say
unfortunately very unfriendly and quiet staff, only the most necessary words, besides, not really paid attention to us, we had to make ourselves very loud every time to get attention. We sat there for at least 20 minutes with empty glasses and nobody cared. That should not be the case!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
We booked a room while we were traveling to rest one night… on the site the price for 2 adults and 1 child with breakfast was 79 euros.
We arrive about 7 p. M. 30 ("reception" does not exist because you enter from the pizzeria and the counter is a reception… a lady who is not at all welcoming and speaking only German knew nothing about our booking.
We're going to show her the phone with the e-mail. The only waiter speaks a bit of English and give us the key without even telling us which way the rooms were.
Smells like closed and stale
2 floors walk with suitcases and we have to wait because the room is not ready.
we finally come in. Pillows and sheets of a fabric so acrylic as to bother, smell of mold/stale, a tremendous heat and there is neither a fan nor air conditioning.
We shower in a micro bathroom we go down to eat and unfortunately also the food is really a disappointment.
And to all this is added the mockery.
The Lady charged us 99euro for the room although in our booking email the price was 79 euros.
I call the site from which I made the reservation and the operator after talking to the Lady tells us that she does not want to give us a refund.
By the way we also paid for breakfast but we can't do it because it's 8am and we're 7.30 we have to be on the road.
We tour a lot of hotels but a cheat like this has never happened to us.

Rooms are in need of getting used to, small towels, small bed ceiling, provided cups in the bathroom, made of plastic and smell unpleasant, breakfast is average, sausage and cheese from the discount store? No coffee pots on the table, just boiled eggs, no covered table, you have to do it all yourself. No card payment possible. Do not get an invoice after paying.

That we are now loyal regulars, both in the hotel in the Rhine Valley and in the Rhine King, began with the fact that my mother invited me there on my birthday. We felt very comfortable as "fighters" there. Super friendly, very helpful staff and the boss is a "Rhenish cheerful nature" in all the most positive sense! She has the heart in the right place, you like her right away! And the food in both houses is just super delicious, very rich and priced absolutely great! Also small special requests of the guest, in the preparation of food, is very popular, this speaks especially for both houses! The operating family is an asset and a real stroke of luck for Kamp-Bornhofen alike! In any case, we will continue to remain faithful with the Henn-Mundt family! Therefore, at any time and in every way of us full score!

The pizza is good but when the "after eight" ice cream is used only the mint chocolate from the Lidl it is not the right thing for me, so to eat the gelato rather somewhere else but a pizza can be ordered here without hesitation.

Very nice, the rooms are clean and nicely decorated, preiß is okay, dogs are allowed, costs extra but I think that's not bad, I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

No margarine for breakfast, otherwise sufficient buffet.

Deliciously eaten, pizza super tasty, salad with turkey strips also freshly made.

Breakfast was top the heating in the rooms takes long until the times warm otherwise everything is good and clean.

The hotel is clean and tidy. The restaurant was lovely.
Don't stay if you want a great view of the Rhine though. You can only see it from the top floors…
Limited parking and no air conditioning.

Great value for the money. We arrived at 11.00 in the evening. We couldnt find a reception, because it doesnt have a sign on the door, but there was someone to help us out with the keys.

Here for a school trip, food and rooms excellent so far.

Had pizza there. Ambiance could be a bit better. Food is fine.

We will return the next year definitely! We had a lot of fun with the hosts and are pleased to be able to explore it further. While we very happy to stay at Hotel in the Rhine Valley. The rooms are very clean and the food also very good! At breakfast you can enjoy wonderfully for a tiring day and leaving it once a day in the hotel you can stay wonderful in the beautiful or spread out on the cosy terrace.
