We had booked a double room for a week for the price of 860 euros.
We got an attic on the fourth floor without elevator! The TV received only six programs.
Wi-Fi didn't work, just like the normal Internet. A skylight could not be darkened. We cancelled the holiday after five days.

Was unfortunately only a short stop but it was very nice. Great terrace with a great View of the Moselle and you can "look at people" quite great. Weinschorle very tasty at a fair price and the service was very nice.

The worst place ever! Unpolite people working there. We wanted to have a seat, drink some wine en they told us that if we dont eat we dont get any table. I would rather buy a bottle of wine and sit on the gras than go there again…

Worst service ever despite the great food. Lack of professionalism from the waiter: need to call him multiple times before he bothered to serve us every time we wanted to order something. No friendliness at all, he kept ignoring us all time long since he seemed to be annoyed by all customers. On top of that, he was eating just at the entrance, next to the tables. Never going back there.

It is very cozy. Service very friendly and the wine was very tasty.

The hotel has very nice and clean rooms. Who gets a room to the Moselle has a very nice view. However, the bathroom in room 401 is so poorly cut that it is not friendly for large and very busy people.

In addition, there is a small skylight in 401, which cannot be darkened, so it is already very bright early in the morning.

There is no elevator and no help from the staff carrying the suitcase into the rooms via the really very steep stairs — for these you really need fitness.

Unfortunately, the staff at the reception and restaurant was not really friendly. But the service at breakfast. The breakfast is very plentiful and sumptuous, with something for everyone.

ATTENTION: If you want a beer in the evening, you should not go to the hotel's own restaurant, is a wine bar, where you already get soft drinks.

The staff is definitely not concerned with the well-being of the guests.
The location and atmosphere is TOP, the wine is excellent, there is nothing else to say, also the food was very tasty.
The staff, however, is very unmotivated, one gets the impression that the staff does not understand each other. There are many communication difficulties. Unfortunately so many that you can see this as a guest. Unfortunately, this is not possible if you get the bad mood of the staff as a guest. There was also an argument between us and the staff, because as a guest you simply can't let everything please you and certainly not when it gets outrageous. I do not want to go into detail. I come from the service myself and give a tip. Changes the staff or clarifies what is going on among themselves, otherwise the guests will come once and never again. Therefore only 2 stars.
I hope other guests are a little more lucky than us.

Decent cocktails and for a fair price. The flammkuche is … Mediocre. Nice cocktails, in German called "bowle"

It seems a pity to give it 1 star. I would agree with most of the other reviews that it is a bit of a tourist trap, but then that might be said of Cochem in general! Asked for a coffee, got told that they didn't have any, which for Germany must be a first! I guess they wanted us to order a meal, which we might have done afterwards if the staff had not been so rude.

One of the best meals I've had in Germany, lovely seat on the veranda looking down on the river.

Guaranteed NO schnitzel on the map, this restaurant incl wine bar is a delightful place to arrive at such tourist Cochem … something culture just does well …
At the top of the terrace you can dine fantastically with a glass of wine (or two …? ) looking at the Moselle (only the two snack bars you have to look away) and look forward to the sovereign very friendly service and hospitality as well as the delicious food … the Elbling one, the grapevine still from Roman times … rediscovered … wonderful … here you can relax and arrive … individually with level and feel-good chatter …

We attempted to seat for dinner on the second floor terrace. The waiter was the most unfriendly and smelly person. It was to the point that we had to leave the restaurant.

This is a cute little wine bar in Cochem. We always sit outside and have some wine, but there is a dining room inside. I have no idea how the food is, but the wine is excellent and inexpensive.

The location is very good in the center. Breakfast is wonderful. High quality food and every one can find something to eat. The room was clean and tidy with a fan. Unfortunately their is no elevator and no one could have helped us with Our suitcase to the third floor.

Impossible service and unfriendly.

We were with 4 women last week, the 4. Time in this Hotel and we will always visit again. Rooms really nice, newly renovated, in the bathroom, very lovingly decorated, staff very nice, rooms very clean, Breakfast good (in fine weather on the covered terrace with view on the Moselle), and the food in the Restaurant good. Location is absolutely great, very Central location, right in the old town, and even there, where what is going on. As long as we drive to Cochem only in this Hotel. Price-performance ratio is absolutely correct.
