Restaurant is excellent, staff extremely friendly, evening — and breakfast buffet inexpensive and excellent. A star deduction because of the noise from the station, which makes sleeping with the window open difficult.

Just spent 3 nights here. Michael was a wonderful, knowledgeable host who also organised our lovely excursions. The staff were all friendly too. The room was modern and clean with all the usual amenities and even though we were opposite the station, when the windows were closed we didn’t hear a thing — I quite enjoyed watching the activities going on at the station. The food was really good with a great choice for breakfast and evening meal. I would highly recommend this hotel as it is ideally located to explore the rest of Remegan and the surrounding area too.

Apartments are great for doing your own thing in the area. Comfortable beds, living area and kitchen for breakfast and snacks.

Great to hear hotel with very friendly staff and a good atmosphere, only slight drawback is lack of tea/coffee making equipment in the rooms as it can be expensive buying these outside of the hotel facilities.

Great location for our railway holiday with Railtrail. Friendly and hospitable staff, and we enjoyed the menu. Hope to return.

Lovely Hotel, ideal location. The Pinger team were excellent. Only downside was the small size of room which would have alright for 1 or 2 nights but not for a week for 2 persons. The New Year event was very good and the food overall excellent. It is an old hotel with an old lift which is very small.

Spent 5 days over new year here. Family run hotel with owners playing a part. Staff are excellent made to feel very welcome. New years eve meal was brilliant. One of the best new years I've ever spent away. Would highly recommend this hotel for a short break. Ideal location for trains.

Disappointing. Informed the hotel I was a vegan and what that meant, they confirmed they understood and would make me a vegan meal like the rest of the group I travelled with. The first night was a vegan pancake with no filling or flavour — inedible. The second night was tomato pasta with nuts and the third night was the same sauce on courgette. Not impressed at all.

This is a lovely place to come plenty to do good transport lovely river and excellent hotel.

The Pinger brothers have the running of this establishment down to a science! Friendly & highly efficient staff. Excellent food and local wines. Clean & comfortable rooms & apartments. With easy accessibility to the whole of the Rhine valley.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and always happy. Very relaxing atmosphere and I would go back again.

Nice weekend stay, friendly helpful staff. But surely more convenient for international travelers if all drinks and food can be charged to room and settled by credit card at end of stay. Only room was allowed to be charged. Surely management are missing out on many sales if they adhear to this outdated policy.

A pleasant clean hotel that is okay for a short break. Our room was basic but clean and the maid service was very good. Breakfast was typically continental but there was never any change nor any English option considering that the hotel regularly caters for English guest parties. The evening meals were the exception with a good buffet-type selection. The soups were fantastic, salad choice very good with german meats but a bigger selection of cheese would benefit. The main course selection was very good every evening and the sweets option were just right. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The bar had a good choice of reasonably priced beer, wine and spirit. We had a "dance" on our final evening organised by the waitresses which was good entertainment but some activity on the other evenings would have been welcome. The hotel advertised a bier keller but this was not provided as entertainment venue — a wine tasting evening with a small charge could have been arranged with little organisation needed. All in all it was a good short holiday which would have benefitted from minor improvements at the hotel.

A delight to stay at the hotel, please put 5 stars outside! The staff were attentive without being intrusive. They were always welcoming and we appreciated the good bye. The hotel is situated so conveniently just opposite the railway station and within easy reach by train and rhine cruisers to many attractions.

Thoroughly satisfactory. Food comfort, hygiene, staff friendliness and response to requirements was second to none. I enjoyed my stay immensely. I would recommend your hotel to my friends; and I loved Remagen. Many thanks for the warm hospitality.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in early Aug. 2014 with a group from Treyn tours. Great hotel close to both rail and Rhine. Really good food, very clean bedrooms and showers, lovely staff who look after you very well. A lovely hotel with great ambience and would recommend it highly.

Conveniently located just across the road from the railway station your hotel had truly delicious mass catering. It was a delight eating every night and then sitting outside for a glass or two of the local Ahr valley red after a day's well organised sightseeing.

Holiday booked through Rail discoveries on a all inclusive tariff in the Pinger Hotel with out doubt brilliant value for money. Meals were excellent. Room was first class except for no tea/coffee facilities in room. Room was at front so being near to station could not keep windows open at night (weather was very warm during our stay) air con was next to useless more of a pollen filter. Staff were very friendly and helpful. As station is near the location is ideal for getting anywhere. Also very near the river for walks, cafe's and the Tower peace museum which is well worth a visit.

We had a very nice stay here in early April 2014. The rooms are simply furnished, very clean and comfortable. The shower room was great, again clean, simple and functional with very good bright lighting (so often the lighting in hotel bathrooms isn't bright enough) There was plenty of choice at breakfast — cereals, cold meats, cheese, freshly baked bread and delicious croissants. Dinner is a help-yourself buffet and is good hearty home-cooking. The Pinger family and all of the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Remagen itself is a charming little town. The hotel is conveniently situated right across the road from the railway station and its only a 10 minute walk to the river-front promenade.
