It’s perfect, no noise, large rooms with a living room and full fridge, plenty of lights that adjust to your needs, full bathroom with utility and lots of mirrors. Double walk in Wardrobe with large safe. Double seat for large cases. Air-con very quiet. Full size triple windows with fabulous views and black out blinds. The breakfast is wonderful loads of choices and fabulous juices and fresh rolls. Cooked breakfast and omelet stand, loads of cakes and healthy options. The staff are wonderful, they cater to all your needs. I asked for a mattress topper and an iron, it was delivered within minutes. I’m staying with my dog, and they have been very helpful. Lots of restaurants behind the castle on the hill, and lots of green areas to stroll. Wonderful.

Staff were not very friendly and breakfast was not as good as it should be for a 4 star hotel.
Just not inviting.

I arrived really early with the family after a really long drive from the uk 12 hours journey and should not have checked in till the afternoon however the guy on the desk understood the situation and sorted my family a room straight away and I fully appreciate it. Really good facilities, very near the city center, the mall, restaurants, train station… rooms are very clean, beds confortable… and perfect breakfast.

Good mid range business hotel. There are some great hotels in Düsseldorf; but I’d recommend the Leonardo if you need reasonable Wi-Fi; A/C and some limited dining. The bar menu needs work.

Centrally located, very friendly stuff, nice rooms. The rooms could use a little refurbishing and more power outlets, but it is aa minor issue.

The experience is great. The rooms are spacious. Staff respond to requests quickly and competently.

Close to train station and conveniently located for town. Staff are very nice. Mostly business guests. Breakfast is fine. Very comfortable beds.

It's a bad 4 stars and a good 3 stars. Receptionist not so friendly, for me is the biggest loss.

The hotel is centrally located, its consistently super-friendly staff and excellent facilities and cleanliness.
The rooms are spacious and offer a wonderful ambience.
The gym with a small sauna offers many possibilities. But it couldn't hurt a few more loungers.
The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired.
I have now spent three nights there, was extremely satisfied and highly recommend the hotel further.

Poorly soundproofed rooms on street side no matter the floor.

Really enjoyed our stay here and decided to stay an extra night as we liked it that much and would stay again no problem.

The hotel has a lot of parking spaces.
The reception is cheerful and sympathetic.
The rooms are large, spacious and nicely designed.
What I also like very much is the refreshment at the entrance.

The hotel is in a good location. And not far from the centre. Has ample parking space. Room and food very good. Was satisfied.

Cosy hotel. Beautiful rooms with comfortable beds. Room facilities: fridge, coffee/tea maker, TV and hairdryer available. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is rich and delicious, there is something for everyone. The coffee is also very good. Parking is available for a fee of €10 for 24 hours in the hotel's private outdoor parking lot.

Good location, nice hotel and good bar. Breakfast was expensive and you need to pay to use their car park but overall good priced hotel and would use again.

The hotel is a bit old.
The rooms are very large and have everything you need, even if in some places you notice the age clearly (bathroom, heating).
However, I can't understand why breakfast costs €20, with the best of intentions, and I find it almost a naughty thing. The breakfast buffet is fine, but by no means anything "special".
The noise level is very high, especially when everyone is getting coffee.
The location is top!
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The sauna is off. You have to apply with time to turn it on, but if you do not know when you are going down…

It's a comfortable bed, the service is very friendly and the buffet breakfast is a very tasty!

I have organized a large company event (~ 110 people) at the Leonardo Hotel. The rooms have everything you need, the reservation and arrangement was easy, fast and customer orientated. The service on site was impeccable, on ad hoc requests was good grace responded, the finger food buffet was perfectly fine. Everything at a reasonable price. We'll be back.

Very friendly staff. Always a smile at the front desk. Rooms, beds we found super comfortable.
What troubled: In the quiet room Monday morning the annoying beeping of a reverse truck, but the hotel can do nothing ☺

The Leonardo Mönchengladbach is a nice & big hotel with ample parking (for a fee) around the house.
I was greeted by the staff and the rebooking due to sickness from a double room to single room was no problem on the spot.
The room and also the bathroom are very big & you have a lot of space, a nice extra is a tea and coffee maker (for tea drinkers) The ordered taxi was in less than 5 minutes in front of the hotel entrance.
The breakfast buffet offers a lot of choice & is great value for the price, the breakfast room in itself worked very small on my day which also resulted in the I & other guests have not found a place until a next room/conference room was opened right next door.
What I have to say "unfortunately" negatively is the closing behaviour of the doors, I was already at 23:00am in the room & could hear some guests on entering their rooms as the doors fall in the end & This creates a bang (floor 3) All in all a good price/ Performance ratio at my booking, the prices are very "swaying" dz from €75 up to €125 for the self room.
Wanted to book the hotel again from 2.3.18 on 3.18 However, booking of only 1 day overnight stay was not possible, the booking portal offers only 2 nights from 2.3.18 on the 4th 3.18 for €150 to stupid if you only need once.
will take the hotel but if the price suits me & the booking is possible again.

The room was large and comfortable and the hotel is in a very good location. There seems to be an issue with the drains smelling a bit in the bathroom which I noticed on a previous trip. The bar is advertised as closing at 1.00 but it was closed at 11.30 when I returned from dinner. Apart from that, the staff were very pleasant and I will book the hotel on future trips.

Room was nice but did not appreciate having to pay to park my car in front of the hotel as a guest.

Nice hotel, well located. Rooms are OK. Unfortunately I found the breakfast very clear. Prices in the restaurant were too high for you.

Of the best to stay in Germany. Good views of the abbey from the main facade and spacious rooms with a decent size desk and TV.

For putting a stick, the layout of the room is something strange.

This hotel is smack bang in the middle of Mönchengladbach and overlooks a park and the Abteiberg. The welcome was friendly and the staff throughout couldn’t do enough to assist. It’s only a 5 minute walk to the Alter Markt with plenty of cars and restaurants, and also the start of the shopping area. The room was fine. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The TV. In the room had channels from all over the world, including the main British ones. High speed Internet was exactly that — high speed. We enjoyed our stay here and will certainly return.

I was in the course of a seminar at the Leonardo Hotel.
I was greeted very warmly by the check in.
The rooms are large, spacious and modern equipped.
The staff was always friendly and always helpful at the place.
I liked the breakfast as it was a great choice and very varied.
I thank you for the nice stay with you and can recommend this hotel very much!

For the business my company does in MGB, I regularly visit the city together with my team. I choose your hotel because of the very good breakfast, the clean and well-maintained rooms (this time on the back yard side — seemed better than on the front yard side) and the location. The lobby area is old and shabby, especially the front desk and the overall decor. Throw the ghastly red monsters in the junk yard immediately — Speiker Strasse is not a red light district, is it? Do something with the elevators right this minute — they delay the arrival and departure with several minutes and they are openly criticized by everyone using them. If it wasn't for the good things, we as a company would never come back after the first visit.

The rooms are big. If you stay on a non-peak night, the prices are very reasonable. In the restaurant I'd recommend Potato wedgies :)

Nice hotel only one I've stayed in so couldn't really compare staff were good swimming pool and spa available good selection of food.

The Location in the middle of Mönchengladbach is very good. The beer festival was opposite the hotel.

Rooms are clean and adequately kitted out with coffee and kettle etc. There is free Wi-Fi and rooms also have aircon. There is however no fridge and no mini bar. If you want drinks you have to use the somewhat tacky vending machines. There is no alcohol free beer in the vendors. The restaurant doesnt seem to be open during the day and the chairs and tables which are provided are all chained up. The smoking area is right infront of the hotel entrance which is not plesant if your a non smoker and it can be crowded outside the front doors. The rooms do not have proper double beds but two single beds pushed together with an arkward gap between the matresses. The hotel can be very noisey as well as the room doors all slam shut and even tbe cleaning ladies who start early dont seem to care that this can be very anoying. Breakfast is good, not fantastic, but good. Theres a good coffee machine which will make just about everything. Bed linnen often has holes or rips in it. Theres a good wide selection of international TV channels as well. Most of the showers seem to leak water onto the floor as well.

Helpful lovely staff. Would stay again. But would love hot chocolate sachets in room as microwave was broken after first couple of night and barman couldn't make it for me.

Rooms very clean and cosy, unfortunately poorly lit at night. Buffet breakfast of sweet and savoury products, all very good. Room cleaning service is very effective. Free Wi-Fi, hotel close to the city centre.
