Fabulous room, location and service for a great price. You can also bring your doggy! Comes highly recommended.

So what can I say about breakfast buffet is ok
room ok but only clean the room and new wipes there is a huge lack, minibar 2 water and 2 beer and we no longer replenished a pure disaster!
The hotel has to make enormous improvements otherwise it is no longer recommended!
We come to the hotel regularly 3-4 times a year and notice huge difference!
We are no longer satisfied!

Nice reception, clean room, minibar (2 water 2 beerincluded, at least if you are alone in a double room), microwave, kettle, stove, free Wi-Fi, TV, safe, folding table under TV and trouser press. A business hotel with corresponding prices. I like it.

Wonderful hotel, totally recommended. We had to change rooms from 411 to 422 and changed views, but the hotel staff behaved extraordinarily. Thank you Claudia Maio, thank you Leandro, thank you a thousand Daniel (you are an extraordinary professional uncle). You treated us so well and we relaxed so much at your hotel, that we missed the flight back, and after stopover in Barcelona, and 750 euros from the wing, we arrived home at 2 am instead of at 15 hours of noon. But we will recommend your wonderful hotel to all our friends. Thank you very much for your kindness, sympathy and professionalism to all, reception, waiters, the duster girl with the flag of Germany,. We will definitely visit you again.

Great staff, good breakfast and really nice rooms.

Since our flight arrived very early in the morning (6.00 am) and checkin is in the afternoon, the relocation company booked our room (duration: 1 month) already the day before. The clerk asked me my name and then told me he couldn't find our booking. When he finally found it he was already in a bad mood. He also didn't mention that the relocation company booked 2 adjacent rooms, just handed me over the room cards (which I assumed were dual cards since my family and me needed at least 2) and that was it. It took me 2 weeks to figure out we also had the room next door. The Wi-Fi was very bad, dropped constantly and the so called kitchen on our room was a joke. It's just 2 tiny heating plates hidden inside a closet, impossible to prepare a serious meal. All in, a very bad first experience entering Germany.

Very friendly employees on the reception, great room with good working airco. The only minus was to less staff by the breakfast, only one coffeemachine so when its empty there are no other options. Also in a German hotel I expect german bread. Also the charcuterie was not 4 star and no Fresh orange juice. Also there was no egg menu on the table and when you ask for an egg the staff react as its to much work. Only one women had to do the complete breakfast! Its a kind of modern slavery.

The best thing about this hotel is he location In the heart of Düsseldorf. Walking distance from almost everything you need. Restaurants. Cafés. Groceries stores. Entertainment. Spa and massage parlours. The hotel itself is nice and clean. Very quiet. The rooms are nice and cozy. Good thing that it’s one of the remaining hotels that allow smoking in some floors.

The rooms are great. The situation very good. At the moment construction work opposite the hotel is where they also start working at 7 o 'clock on Saturdays that disturbs.

The Hotel is ideally located — 3 Minutes to the metro, 2 Stops to the Old Town. If you miss the last Train you can also walk back, and with a Taxi you don't get poor either.
The Staff were very friendly and always tried to remedy the Problems described. Our Room was spacious and completely adequate for a Weekend.
Unfortunately, however, we had to move twice. The first Room smelled of Smoke papered over with Room Spray (we learned in the Course of the Stay that it was still a Smoking Room until a Month ago), the second Room smelled of Drain. In the third Room the Smell was ok, but the Refrigerator didn't work. I Do not think that this kind of thing should happen in this Price range.

Views luxury Gothic Cathedral. Very clean rooms, in which there is even a stove and kitchenware, while the breakfasts are very decent. To K21 10 minutes walk to centre — 15. For me it is the perfect place.

A very good hotel and for Düsseldorf conditions absolutely affordable. The rooms were clean and the mattress seemed to be new. A very rich and tasty breakfast is also worth mentioning. Overall really recommended.

Were at the nice weather in Düsseldorf and have picked us spontaneously this hotel… very nice… very clean. Nice room and bathroom. Spoil Super. Our breakfast boy read us everything from the eyes… at any time again and highly recommended. To the old town on foot in about 20 minutes… only the Hauptstr. Along…

A great place to make a stay with excellent amenities and great staff service. The location is perfect, not far from the city center and not in the middle of the hassle; just perfectly located with everything in close vicinity. A great place to make a stay.

Arrived late — no restaurant open. Had to order room service, which was limited in options. Phone numbers don't work. Had to go down to reception to get them to phone room service. Found out you needed to phone "160" which isn;t a number advertised in the pack in the room, this says "M1" and "M3". Room service took 30-40 minutes to bring a sandwich. Sandwich was good. Room was pleasant enough with good facilities.

Really nice place to stay. Offers nice food and cozy rooms. You get kitchenet in the rooms if you are lookinh to cook yourself.

Friendly Staff. Clean. Well designed. Parking area narrow and small but fair price. Location is accepted. Around 20 min walking to the center of old Town. Free mini bar (2 water + 2 Bier).

Good hotel in Dusseldorf for meetings and meetings. Rooms are fine, quiet to the courtyard, to the street. Rather small bar. I found breakfast appealing.

I was in Dusseldorf for a longer measure, so I rented myself back in the Derag.
The location of the hotel (in relation to the workplace) was decisive for me and that is true here.
There are many restaurants and shopping within walking distance.
The rooms are equipped with a kitchen or kitchenette, depending on the category. Breakfast is not included but can be booked. Since there is a big problem with parking in Düsseldorf, it is good that the Derag has an underground car park.
Unfortunately, the hotel is a bit old and therefore there is one or the other problem in the rooms.
I'm actually not the type to turn to the hotel because of every crap, but this time I even had to call the boss but after that most of the points were clarified or taken out.
A major problem, I think, is that you have to tell Hotel Taggenau when you are leaving, if you leave earlier than planned (which is often the case in my industry), you still have to pay the full price (e. G. Pay another week). Now some are probably wondering why I don't book up to a certain day and simply extend it, I would do yes but unfortunately this hotel seems to be quite in demand, especially by Indians and Chinese.

The location of the hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the centre. However there is a subway station with elevator access about 2 minutes away making it very easily accessible for those feeling lazy or require additional help. The hotel itself was pristine and very cosy. We were greeted when we arrived it reception and made to feel very welcome. Even though we arrived a few hours early for check-in a room was free which was wonderful. The room was spacious with a mini kitchenette so you could cook your own meals on a job or in a microwave if you'd like! The hotel is also equip with a full gym facitilty even if we didn't make it in from all the walking round the Christmas market tired us out! Would bet much recommend this hotel to others was a steal at the time of year!

Excellent Location close to the bus and The tram. Excellent quality Level. Breakfast (not included) rich and abundant. Courteous and prepared Staff: in some shifts there is also someone who speaks Italian.

The service at Derag living hotel was very nice as always. I've stayed at this hotel already many of times. The main reasons are that the rooms are clean, the bed quality is good and the location to visit the center of Dusseldorf is great! I'll for sure be back at my favorite place to stay in a city I love!

Do you want to pay 300 Eur for a tiny, dark, smelling room? Go ahead and book this hotel! The fridge in our room has a broken door, the toilette is so dark you can't see and the sink faucet moves around when you use it. When you take a shower, the water goes everywhere. There is no soap and not enough towels (1, 5 each) The room is too smal for 2 people, you can't move. We paid for an apartment with kitchenette, but we got a simple room and they didn't discount the price. When we asked to get the room we booked and we paid, they said that this is what you get now since there is a conference going on. We sent an e-mail to the Dusseldorf office and the main office, but no answer so far.

Hotel is one of the ends of Kö in the church square in walking distance…, the small street right in front of the hotel is rather quiet… but close to main roads are…
I personally found the rooms set up something too dark (dark carpet), well: Kettle, flat screen, music, trouser press, sufficient closet, minibar (pretty empty).
Less well: Glass shower door does not close properly when the showers to the Überschwemung in the bathroom (room 102), if necessary Results in the entrance area of the room. Less well: The faucet over the sink is set up so that the suit, tie and shirt are sprayed in full using of the single hand lever. The window go to the 1st floor a kind of courtyard to when you book quiet rooms. That is quiet, but also at risk burglary, if anyone has concerns…
Absolute KO criterion, however, is the underground: some larger cars such as S-class, A8, SUV without multiple ranking here hardly to the curves and may be at most 1, 80 m high. Long caravans as an Opel Vectra are likely to have problems as well. The parking lots are also quite narrow. Less optimally, I found that the cleaning staff also to 15 the room still not had made 40 and then just just in the room wanted, when I wanted back from working in the hotel… Hmmm… Bright spot in the hotel: absolute encountered friendly receptionist (small, blonde, young lady), which was extremely friendly and obliging. As well, staff at breakfast. Breakfast served in a wide selection and ansehlich.

Our fourth 4 * hotel accommodation in various hotels of the Düsseldorf City Centre was so far the most optimal.
We ask once again determined.

Beautiful hotel with quaint and very comfortable rooms. Hotel is outside of the city center and most tourist attractions, but is a short walk away and was not a problem for me. I will consider staying here again when business brings me back through Dusseldorf.

It was extremely disappointing. Prices are considered fair for the offered rooms much too high, tariffs.
One of our rooms was dirty. So much so, that the person has decided to go to another hotel.
The reaction of management to read very to be desired. One could have expected that in light of the facts and the number of rooms we have booked, will be credited to the price of a room. Instead, it has insisted on the laws and be charged the full price.
For this reason we have deleted the whole Derag group from our portfolio. From our group of companies, no one is more stay at Derag.

Passable boxspring beds medium-hard, low water pressure. Partial noise inside by door closers on the room doors, and road noise. Virtually unusable as too narrow, multi-storey public car park however next. Small kitchenette in the room. Overall acceptable.

So stuck up. They advertise in the local press for staff but you're looked up and down when u walk in. If u don't "fit". U don't get a job… unbelievable.

The hotel is great, but the neighbour restaurant Relic is a big disgrace: see my Tripadvisor review for a review of this absolute horror. We should've known better if a restaurant is completely empty on a saturday night. Hotel: 4 stars review; the restaurant: zero stars.

As always a great experience, from the reception (staff) as well as at Breakfast (staff)! About the Art, and the offer at the Breakfast, you need nothing to say, the best in Düsseldorf! A new residence? Again and again and again and again gladly!

We had a very good stay at Derag Livinghotel. Loved the people who work there. Very kind and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and a lot of choices :)

Lovely hotel. Very nicely situated on a walking distance from Dusseldorf highlights. Personnel was very friendly. Great breakfast buffet. Only the temperature on the room was pretty high. But very nice and cosy room.

All round pleasant experience. Easy and quick check in. Rooms immaculate, comfortable bed. Not a huge room but a very efficient use of space with good furniture. Particularly liked the table that folded away below the TV, the free drinks in the fridge and the very decent sized mugs, great for us Brits and our morning tea! Good broadband speed from the free Wi-Fi.

We loved our stay at the Derag Livinghotel in Düsseldorf! We had a warm welcome, our room was perfect and the breakfast to die for! All of the staff was very friendly. I liked that we could take breakfast until 11am. And the fact that there was so much to choose from! Lots of different cheeses, champagne, yoghurt, pastry, bread. I will be coming back.

The Derag Living Room Hotel is a very reasonably priced hotel. The room we had was lovely and we found the staff very helpful and efficient. I will be staying in the Living Room the next time I travel to Germany without any shadow of a doubt.

We have the stay very pleasant. The staff at the reception Desk we have welcomed them warmly. Our room was well equipped, the bathroom was super decorated. The location of the hotel is by train easy to reach. The Breakfast selection is more than ample. Also as the staff are pleasant and friendly.

The Grand 4-star Hotel with a great location in Düsseldorf. Service is excellent, very friendly and motivated staff. Rooms are super clean, great set up with great bathroom. Rarely in such a good, First-Class Hotel slept. Will be coming back again. The buffet is by the way worth a visit!

Top Hotel! Had a quiet double room to the backyard. Modern-styled furnishings, which leaves no wishes unfulfilled. In addition, free beer in the Minibar, and free Moviezone. Small disadvantage, the great Breakfast buffet is included in the offer are not included. Happy again!
