The place seems ok but they don’t clean it at all, so dirty!

A last minute booking, got a single room and I was honestly expecting some run down hotel but to my surprise I had a great experience. Very friendly staff starting from the front desk that spoke great English and I could tell he spoke at least 2 more languages. I waited at the lobby while they checked my reservation. Called me to sign my check-in papers, gave me the key card and got my room. The room was very cozy and clean, single bed with a desk, closet, mini fridge, water kettle and condiments to make hot tea, flat screen TV with cable channels of many languages including CNN and BBC and strong Wi-Fi internet. I loved the small details such as safe box, a small sewing kit with shirt buttons for emergencies, shoehorn and radio-alarm clock and they even gave me a free ticket for public transportation within the city (I loved that simple gesture). I only paid €36 (through a third party website). I also paid an extra €7 for an open-buffet breakfast that was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.

One of my favorite hotels in Dussel. Located quite conveniently, breakfasts are good, though not very diverse. The rooms are a bit spartan, but everything they need (fridge, kettle, TV). The Internet is quite fast. Of the cons — if the windows go out into the street, the noise of cars can annoy. The photo is not the hotel itself, but a remarkable Citroen "in walking distance" from it. It's good for the atmosphere of the area.

All good, good price which includes public transport card. Some rooms have little light.

I stayed in many three stars hotels in Dusseldorf, but the Petersburg exceeded my expectation. The room was clean and has everything you need for your stay, small TV, fridge, kettle, assorted tea selections. Etc. The staff were awesome and gave me a hand when needed. Will recommended to friends and family.

Terrible… room not available until 3pm… yet I had emailed (of course remained unanswered) to communicate arrival time… even suggest me no other room. They tell me back in four hours… by key parking ask for deposit of 50 euros… terrible start… maybe I go the other structure.

When I arrived in February, the heat was turned off, the air conditioner switched on, thats why in the room was very cold about 0 degree. In the bathroom the towels were very dirty. At evenings the air contitioner always switched on automatically. In additional at midnight the alarm clock rang. I was very angry, because I couldn't switch off it, than I went to the reception and one of the porters helped me. The alarm clock was embeded, so I couldn't unplug it from the wall. That's was very annoying. I couldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Let me start by saying that getting a hotel room in Dusseldorf within budget is not easy depending on the time of the year. I wasn't very happy at the beginning when almost no hotel in town had availability at a decent price (say arround £100 per night), and I had to end up booking a room at Hotel Petersburg. If you are on business and don't plan to say for too long, the hotel is not that bad but definitely could do better. Room, clean but small and bed is not a decent size. It still is comfortable though. It comes with a minibar which is a plus but you will have to fill in yourself. Bathroom is also small and not outstanding and the rooms could do with a bit of extra cleaning, but it's still bearable. The staff though is very friendly and helpful. Also, with your stay you get a free public transport pass and that is a bonus. Breakfast is also not outstanding and I missed a bit more variety. The best bit is that city centre is not too far and still very close to the Hotel there are a god amount of food choices.

The biggest apartment that we stayed in was excellent especially the bedroom in the rooftop, well maintained kitchen with a nice outlook view, we stayed two times here and definitely recommend this hotel for long stay if you are a big family.

Clean, warm. WI-Fi is free. There is a fridge. Issue a map for travel on all modes of transport of the city. Breakfast is good. There was no cold water on arrival. The next day fixed.

Only one should also put what to the kettle if it already has in the room.

Hotel reception was simple and straightforward. Room is 110 closer door the floors and in the early karkst it all the time. If someone goes through. DAA room has no natural light the a window towards emergency stairs there which is darker during the day than at night. Since light the way of the stairs spotlights. Wi-Fi works great. Even from a long distance. NETGEAR access point was right next to the room. Apparently has a somewhat drunker visited his colleagues. 4:20 banging in the morning and yelling. I found bed too hard. Pillow and blanket too thin. Bad enough. Has hair dryer, hand SOAP, schampoo in the shower and the sink. Slip and drop the shower. There is a small refrigerator in the room. I don't need television. On the whole a sufficient room. Everyone gets breakfast. There is therefore no control. Richly finished plates. You get S-Bahn, bus and subway ticket for the stay. Conclusion what is well equipped from the service accessible all.

Due to meinerSeminare, I'm already at the 6th time here. I can only say that the price is right. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. Fridge TV with over 30 channels and even kettle. It is located in a perfect Central between main station and old town. Only 10min walk way. Breakfast is rich and all staff always helpful and friendly. Will the hotel book in the next year.

We have booked the hotel over the weekend for a short city trip. The location is very central for an extended shopping trip through Düsseldorf. The Kö is almost in sight and otherwise most is walking distance.
The hotel itself definitely has the best years behind them. We have booked through HRS deals (50% off) and know that you so often are caught not the best room in the House.
Nevertheless, there were quite a few No. — go's, which I was not ok despite the price: the bathroom was modern and clean but so small that you had to be really flexible to use the toilet. The alarm clock on the bedside table had unfortunately do not power off or pull out of the socket. Because this was obviously broken I could wake up between Marmalade radio noise, and at 7:19 am select… too bad. The breakfast was ok, the coffee was cold unfortunately and sticky buns. But, the selection was alright.
Summarized: for the €37 / night in the double room absolutely ok, I would not pay more but.
