Unfortunately, I had to leave the accommodation annoyed.
When asked why the Wi-Fi, which I needed for my work and which was a decisive reason for booking a 96€/night room, I got a shrug of the shoulders in response. After I learned from an acquaintance who regularly visits the accommodation that he has problems with it every time he visits, I contacted the receptionist again. After a short back and forth I got the answer visibly annoyed:
"If you are not able to use the Wi-Fi I can also do nothing for it, it is written nowhere that the internet is available in the rooms, best look for another hotel.
Is this now the SERVICEGEDANKE of a hotelier?

The cleanliness in the rooms was good and unobjectionable. The location near the Rhine is ideal for jogging/hiking.
The quality of the breakfast leaves much to be desired, the buffet is littered with cheap products (sausage, yoghurt, milk, etc. ). With a room rate of 96€/night + breakfast, I think you can expect more, there are many positive examples.
The breakfast staff and the cleaning staff were very friendly and accommodating.
I would very much welcome an opinion on the events on the part of the hotel.

➜ Nice small hotel with nice staff, but a bit secluded. The room was small, old-fashioned but clean and tidy. All right, but next time I will choose a more modern hotel.
