Totally dirty hotel and it’s waste of 1045 for 4 nights stay here — after claiming the cleaning they have “try” to clean 3 times now but the room is still dirty as hell, so I have to do it to prove.

Very nice clean hotel. Breakfast is plentiful with a good range of different food items. The staff are friendly. Good location. Easy walk to the station, Cathedral and river etc. The view from our room 715.

We booked yesterday to spend a special night in Cologne. Even though we will not be guests until next week, there are already full points for the extraordinary friendliness that was brought to me on the phone, reception by Julian. I myself come from the gastronomy, but really have to emphasize that I have never experienced it before that you are also so lovingly addressed to the normal small earner, who wants to treat himself to something special. Thanks to Julian, we are really looking forward to this one night. He has already made us feel on the phone that every guest, whether rich or Otto normal, is something very special in this house. Great place to stay, only few meters away from Dom of Koeln.

Hilton Fold Member. It is a good location but they have a major problem with their AC because it is NOT AC but forced air. Rooms do not get cool. Deceptive advertising since they state they have air conditioning. So despite it being a nice hotel. It makes for an uncomfortable night. Do not recommend between June — Sept.

We booked a few nights for friends from Australia. Unfortunaly they had a tragic case of death in the family and had to cancel the trip. Tried to cancel the booking 4 weeks in advance, but hotel did not agree on refund. Very disappointing considering the need the family is currently in. Would not recommend and will not book again.

Very convenient location, friendly staff and good food.

Only 3 stars because the cups were dirty and milk had gone off. If I wasn't a tea lover this wouldn't have been a problem. Clean rooms nice bathrooms. Shout out to Natasha behind the bar she seems to be holding it all together while they are short staffed polite helpful and still smiling under lots of pressure being English really noticed how inpatient others are. Breakfast was excellent!

Good hardware in room standard, guest recognition should be optimised. Too many benefits for guests have been taken away, so that 5 star feeling cannot really be felt. It is a big hotel in a central location with a well equipped fitness area. That's it. No heartly welcome is being transported in diverse areas.

Nice staff. I recommend people to stay here. Very friendly atmosphere and the gym is great. The location is so near the Central Station and the center with all its nice shopping store are at walking distance. The McDonald's Restaurant at corner is not commendable tho. Bad and rude staff they have.

I love Hilton in general. The Hilton Cologne is very close to the local train main station and walking distance to the Cathedral. Nice beds, nice bathrooms, awesome towels, nice lobby and drinks. Everything you need for a perfect stay. Very helpful staff at the desk.

We have just checked out (room 512) and all I can say is — Thank you for such an amazing stay (from reception to housekeeping a big thank you from my husband and me), we will be back for sure.

This hotel is located beautifully in the heart of everything. And attracts a lot of tourists as well as some business guests. Being at a prime location and attracting as many customers as it does (in my opinion) has set complacency in terms of customer service. The customer service at this Hilton was awful. Especially, the gentleman in blue jacket (seemed to be the manager in training) got a lot to learn. I would have ignored it if it was one off. But colleagues mentioned the same thing referring to the gentleman as a total "douche". I loved the location and as a honors member I like to stay at Hilton (whenever possible). But I hope our next stay will be better than the previous one.

Establishment in the heart of Cologne and very close to the famous cathedrale very good quality with a 24-hour reception. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast is great with a high quality buffet. Small flat: the parking is in addition to the price of the room. Too bad for an establishment of this standing!

It is possible local flavor, but apart from the high price tag and the standard room the hotel does not…
I'll start with Wi-Fi, it's paid, and the price tag is cloudy! Even a bottle of water in the room for 3, 5 euros!
Cleaned OK but part of things are old and even broken (ironing board for example).
But the most spectacular is when I wanted to leave the day before it was PAID! And warned about it in 2 days, I was honestly warned that 90% of the amount per day will be withheld! No insolence!

The hotel is located near a lot of shopping and restaurants, and it is within walking distance of the cathedral. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite large and very comfortable, and the hotel is clean and well-maintained. Very comfortable stay!

This is a wonderful, location with some awesome views. The restaurant is exceptional for a hotel and the frnot desk friendly but they have some issues… two full days, four stops by front desk and five phone calls: toilet ran ALL NIGHT LONG, promised two waters for diamonds (usually standard) took multiple attempts to get, had to beg for more than one washcloth (call me crazy but I like a separate washcloth for my face and body) lots of flying bugs, since the cleaning staff turned off my air and left window open.

Super nice view. Excellent location. Big bathroom as seldom bathtub and wash are separate. Instead of minibars, they give coins to exchange for free snacks. Friendly staff. Welcome drink taste so good. Best Hilton hotel so far after having stayed in more than 10 different Hilton hotel chains.

Lovely hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Very modern and close to lots of things to do. Very close to the wonderful cathedral with views of it. And the sound of the bells in the morning is beautiful.

Great place that is close to everything downtown. Train station right around the corner. Stayed here during FIBO and found it to have everything I needed for a typical expo. Also, there are USB ports in each room so you don't even need a power brick to charge your phone.

For me one of the best Hilton hotels in Germany. I am a frequent guest here and I am always welcome again. Almost as if I came home. As a Hilton member guest I often get a good upgrade here plus all the other benefits, such as breakfast or a welcome drink or items from the in-house shop. It is possible to check in early. The location between Central Station and Dom is of course terrific. The prices for the underground car park I find a bit too high with €28 a day. The breakfast has now also something of a station hall atmosphere, it is very noisy, the tables are very close to each other and a entertain is hardly possible yet. The breakfast selection changes every now and then, still very good and egg dishes are freshly prepared. I like to be a guest here and I am always happy to come back to Cologne.

We went down one night to this hotel. A great place to visit the different Christmas markets that the city offers.

Am often in Hilton Hotels. But that was by far the smallest room of my life. Average breakfast. Very central location. But beautiful is different. Very tight parking.

Very nice hotel with great location.

Friendly and courteous staff. Typical is the lack of free Wi-Fi in the room, for this it has been spotlessly clean and in a very good condition. The hotel meets a high standard and is excellently located. I would not describe it as a luxury in the room category I booked, but it does a great purpose: I haven't woken up in a hotel for a long time.
Small disadvantages: The hotel is very large and therefore initially confusing, the mentioned lack of free Wi-Fi, elongated times at the reception (even outside the peak hours) … But these factors have not been so important to me.

Arrived in the middle of Carnival (which I hate). The hotel was full of people and live gigs so I could not have dinner in the restaurant. I don't see why the normal service is interrupted…

Rooms were on the small side, even by European standards, but they were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was top notch and the view was outstanding. The Wi-Fi continuously failed during our visit and even when it did work the speed was poor. Excellent location to the train station, Cathedral, and some great restaurants. The staff was as pleasant and helpful as could be.

Rooms are modern and the service was great. The hotel is perfect located. Close to the city center but also in a very quiet road.

Were in January 2017. Next to the station and Cologne cathedral. The room had a kettle and even an iron! But Wifi is paid! 15 degrees a day. The air conditioning in the room didn't warm, it was quite cold. There were no disposable slippers in the room, I went in street shoes, because it is cold in the tile in the socks. In the sink the drain was clogged and barely let water. Breakfast at the hotel is great and varied. Take unequivocally.

By Situatos, I have worked 12 years in luxury and palace hotels in France and Spain 5 * and 5 * Luxe and Palace. I knew this chain of hotels for the fame it represented and with enthusiasm for my wife I booked the room. First and last time. In my hospitality courses taught me that there will never be a second chance to give a first good impression, have failed.
The good thing: location, Central, nearby parking, restaurants and cathedral a few meters away, souvenir shops next door, very quiet, modern, office car rental on site. Breakfast buffet very well, live up to what is expected of a 5 *, very complete and very friendly restaurant staff. Large and complete gymnasium. Business Center with two computers and printers available 24h.
The bad: When you register or receive a warm welcome with the typical, welcome, have you made a good trip? No effort to speak any other language other than English or German. In reception except one employee to the others it is difficult to greet or directly or greet. We have been seen entering with 5 employees at reception at night, no one in the Lobbie, we greet and they don't raise their heads.
If you ask for information at the front desk, they answer you to the pain of raising your head and look at your stuff on the computer screen.

Quiet and new refurbished room recently but very uncomfortable mattress, hard as a stone, so much that you have put a padded cover between the bedding and this. On the other hand, the TV has channels from many countries except Spain, very bad. In reception depending on who you talk to are very friendly or a bit stupid. Also somewhat distrustful to be a five star hotel, despite having the stay fully paid from the day we booked, as well we demanded it because we took an offer with those conditions, we had the surprise without notice of a charge Of more than €300 in our card as a guarantee to return in case you consumed something of the minibar or the hotel. Breakfast is buffet and is very complete and good, there is everything, even an iron on where at the moment you make eggs or whatever you need and for the price you have in comparison to others in the city, which cost the same or more, I recommend it, it's the best. The location was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was very nice. And finally, inside the hotel you have an office of Sixt in case you need to rent a car, but I recommend that you make the reservation online, it is much cheaper and also quick and easy, then you only have to go to the office with your reservation number.

A nice clean hotel. Even though the room was rather small for the price it was still very comfy. The location is in the centre of Köln and parking the cat was extremely easy. The Ice Bar next door is a nice extra.

Almost put at 4 stars, have to pay for parking, but they do Comp you're Wi-Fi if you sign up for Hilton rewards. Room was spacious and clean separate shower and bath, very clean. My dog was welcome and they gave us a Dog bed and bowl to use for our stay. The staff were friendly, efficient, and polite. Breakfast was worth the cost. Omelette bar, frrsh waffles,. 5 different juices, eggs, bacon, sausage fresh fruit and more. Close to the Cathedral, Christmas markets, and Hard Rock Cafe I rrally recommend this hotel.

We had a total of 5 rooms and have been in the hotel from 15.12 to 17.12.
I was in room No. 723 and have no reason to fault anything because, — the service was always friendly and accommodating — every special request was directly and optimally implemented or met — the rooms were always clean — the breakfast was fresh, versatile and plentiful — the Staff overall and especially at the hotel bar as well as at the reception was very accommodating all together as always extremely satisfied, by far one of the best homes of Hilton.
A big compliment to our nice service from breakfast which each of our drinks wishes for the second day has noted.

An exquisite house in top location. Could already sleep here and test the cocktail bar. First class in every way. Top recommendation.

The staff were extremely polite, kind and knowledge — they really cannot be faulted. We were given a free upgrade to a suite (which was enourmous and came with a fruit bowl, chocolates and a bottle of bubbly). The spa is lovely although does not have a swimming pool. The breakfast costs money but is well worth the fee as it's an unlimited buffet of the highest quality. The bar was quiet and also does good food. The hotel location is fantastic too. It is next to the cathedral and one of the largest Christmas markets, which was the reason for our trip anyway. Would definitely recommend.

Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and clean and quiet rooms make the Hilton a pleasant place to stay. The spa is well equipped and both sauna and fitness area are always well cared for.
Also the breakfast is impeccable and offers a good selection.
In terms of price, the Hilton is not in the favourable area, but it is not overpriced in view of the service offered.

Very comfortable, clean hotel in an excellent location in the centre, 2 minutes walk from the Dom. The Queen rooms are great value and the bed is HUGE!
Believe the other reviews: breakfasts are a dream come true. The Ice Bar serves the best White Russians I've ever had and has an actual ice bar to keep your drink nice and cool!
I've stayed several times while visiting friends in Cologne and it has been a consistently great experience.

We stayed for 7 days. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the room was not so much. It was very clean to arrive but as the days passed the details were forgotten. The coffee, milk and sugar for the kettle, cleaning the bathroom floor with some less. In itself the room was old and the floor in bad condition. The bathroom was very small and the room was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On arrival I got a bad feeling but as the days passed and for many other details we march with a good feeling. It's not a four-or five-star room. I'd give him three.

Very friendly, professional staff. This was one of the only Hilton's where they provide you Hilton Coins which can be used in the snack shop. Great location near the train station. Room was rather spacious and modern.

It was the worst experience which I ever have experienced in Hotel. I got the room no. 614 at first and they didn't explain me about checkout time, breakfast place, and which room is mine, because we booked two room one for me and my wife and the other for my nephew's family. So I had to go to reception several times to ask such things. When I tried to open the door, it didn't work. After several times of trial, I could open the door. However, when I was about to leave the room, the door lock didn't work. I was very annoying because it was already 11pm and I and my wife was really tired. I went to the reception and explained that but she didn't listen my word at all and just gave me new card key. I was sure that the problem is because of the door not card key. Anyway, I tried to new card key again and it didn't work. So I went to reception again! The woman finally recognized and told me they will call the engineer at next morning. Can you believe it? The door couldn't be locked! I should sleep with the door being open. So I claimed to change the room and they gave me new room as a matter of unpleasant necessity! When I got the new card key, I recognized that they gave us just one card key at first. I booked king bed and dom view room. But the new room (no. 438) was like a jail with tall wall and small window and we couldn't see the dom. Also, there was no water, tee, coffee and even a door latch which were in 614 room. Furthermore, the refrigerator in my nephew's room, no.

Amazing hotel. My flight arrived at 10 am and got in to the hotel early. I had asked if I could check in early and would even pay for it. They were so nice and accommodating. Rooms were clean and crisp but the view is amazing!

Quiet location near Dome and main central station cologne. No pool and executive lounge but very well equipped 24/7 fitness area. Very good breakfast and bar with plenty of cocktails that are sometimes not common but great in taste.

Nice and centrally located Hilton hotel. The hotel offers very good breakfast and despite lacking a lounge is still a very good Hilton property. The rooms are decent size and have the things needed such as TV, free Wi-Fi (fairly fast), coffee and tea making facilities. Really like the fact that they have put some thought into adding enough plugs to charge multiple devices. The drawback with the room was mainly the lack of a proper desk but the table provided was ok to work from. One of the better hotel gyms I have seen lately and staff were both friendly and knowledgeable.

We had booked in this Hotel, the Junior Suite. With us, everything was perfect! The reception was super friendly, the service in the Restaurant both for Breakfast as well as late in the evening, at any time, very helpful and very very nice. The Breakfast is very diverse, there are a variety of juices are available! It is possible to be squeezed O-juice fresh. For Those who are in the morning like to eat sweet, it is both fresh waffles as well as crepes. The room was very very nice and super clean. Great is also the view of the Dom was. The top of the window in the room can be darkened by electric shutters. In less than 5 minutes you reach the Cathedral. To Lanxexx Arena, it is about a 25 minute walk or 13 minutes by Taxi, price 13-16 euros. The Hotel is very centrally located. In the evening you can relax in the hotel bar. We will come back!

Still here until Wednesday morning, Carmen was great upon check-in, gave me the form for the business tax refund, room upgrade, drink chip and drink voucher, reminded me that breakfast was included which I have to say is the best breakfast buffet and made to order eggs that I have EVER seen. Eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes fresh juices, all types of fresh baked pastries n s, all types of cereals n jogurts, all types of sliced meats n cheeses, I mean it goes on. The room is great. Great location 1 st from famous cathedral Dom 1 stop on train to the show. Great fitness center and sauna. I do not think I have anything bad to say. But I need a massage.

This was the worst stay I have ever experienced at a Hilton. The location was great and we enjoyed the proximity to the Dom. Unfortunately the service was not good. I had called, prior to my arrival, and requested that a massage be booked and that we were given two beds in our room. When we arrived, neither request has been taken care of. I asked that they please call to schedule the massage for my injured back and was told that they had been too busy but would "get to it". When we returned six hours later, they had still not even called to schedule the appointment. The front desk clerk told me I had waited too late. When I explained the full situation to her, she shrugged her shoulders. While we enjoyed the drinks in the Ice Bar, the breakfast left a great deal to be desired. Guests would be better off to find food nearby. It was not worth the nearly 20euros. Room size was quite small, even by European standards. I would not recommend visiting this hotel again.

I was surprised to find the Hilton in Cologne less comfortable than several lower cost, local hotels. In spite of its expense, the rooms were not well insulated and noisy. The breakfast buffet was expensive but not very good as compared to local budget hotels (Balladins Superior, City Class or Ibis). The dinner was disappointing. I cNt recommend it.

The Trial to drink a coffee and read a good book in 'peace and quite' failed undoubtedly. Waitresses also get confused with the different bills from customer orderes. I can definitely not recommend a stay. Absolutely a disgrace, this ill-starred place!

Comfortable, newly refurbished hotel with great facility. Very central. The area around the a railway station isn't the nicest of areas (though by no means bad), but the hotel itself is very convenient.

Unfortunately no staff, Sleepyheads. 1 double room with extra bed I had booked through booking, also confirmed to me.
As we arrived, was booked only for 2 persons, but they promised that to bring extra bed in the room that was to 14 30 0 30 as we arrived at the hotel, was still no extra bed in the room. At the reception, said that has certainly been forgotten. Not the point. Then a breakfast buffet for 27 00€ per person, that is pure rip off. We were then in the WDR total breakfast for 3 people. 30 00€ with all the bells and whistles.
However, you have to say there were very helpful and also the bathroom was very clean. I would like to stay but there not a second time.

I was on Easter Saturday to guest at the Hilton.
Unfortunately, I had to change the room because the air conditioning was broken and the temperature at 28 degrees has heated. After I then got assigned a new room, flushing the toilet is broken gone in the night. It was really bad luck.
The staff was very nice and forestall (before all Christina :-) and the technical problems helped me a lot. ) Me was issued as an excuse 4 Kölsch and the parking fee adopted by 28 euro.
In the entire hotel (you have to see be sure the ice bar) with modern facilities. But unfortunately with some technical defects.

I was in a conference room during a training session. The mood was somewhat dry, there were worried that there were enough drinks but always azmir. The lunch was ok.

Bad worse worst! Yes this increase actually deserve the Hilton! Food and service in all of sau! We w were not at all perceived as guests! Food was horrible quality! EMBARRASSING! I WAS ME AFTER SO FIERCE TOGETHERS WEIRS OR SIMPLY TIME WHAT CHANGE. Finally, there is this criticism since last year.! does it ever change? '? '!?

The room was very clean and comfortable. The pull out bed was very unendurable, but the location to the cathedral as well as the cleanliness far surpassed it — great service.

The room was old, in the Hotel everything is rather hectic, ICE Bar is very nice with a great Bartender, there are better in the 5 star Segment.

Shower did not, no substitute will be offered. In the morning from the cleaning staff aroused despite a sign out do not disturb! If Airbnb had the money for a Palace.

The room rates are — as expected — higher than average. However, this is due to the Central location of the hotel (about 5 minutes walk to the city centre/Cathedral) is more than compensated. Hilton Cologne rooms are totally worn down. After an hour, we left Hilton Cologne in disappointment and anger after being offered a new room that was just as worn down as the first rooms. We travel a lot, and this is the first time we EVER complained about a hotel. Just last year we stayed at twenty hotels. Hilton Cologne has not repaid € 1.093, 54 for the two nights.

I do not know about business travels but this hotel is great as long as the aim of your travel is enjoying yourself. It is close to all downtown bars and shops. I merely spent each of my 7 nights in Cologne out clubbing and was going back to the hotel for one of those delicious breakfasts only and to sleep in the enormous bed.

The design of the building impressed me from the moment I walked in — modern and edgy. The room was equipped with numerous luxuries. The bathroom was excellent — large and well-lighted (I point this out as it is quite rare to find a hotel bathroom where light is enough).

I stayed here for 2 nights only but was really impressed by the room — its size and comfort can hardly be beaten! Clean, spacious, bright room with big bed and Wi-Fi access. All I needed.

Could not be at a better location. A block away from the station. The hotel was very good. We were in a quite big room with a largebathroom. Breakfast was delicious.

Standard rooms are a bit small.
