At Temperatures between 25-30 Degrees, it is relatively Warm and stuffy in the Rooms and Hallways. If you have the Misfortune to have a Room to the Main Street, you can decide To windows and noise stays outside and you steer up in your own Juice or Window and Noise comes in either way you hardly come to Sleep. Simple facilities for the Rooms, enough if you are only there to Sleep. Is suitably clean. Stable Hotel WI-FI available. Do not Find the Room Rate reasonable, only a few Euros more and you can Stay At The Intercity Hotel.

Rooms stuffy, no air conditioning, windows broken, very loud street noise. The Wi-Fi didn't work and there was still hair in the bathroom. The cabinets were dusty and everything seemed quite worn out. At the end of the good end, no card payment was possible. Never again…

There are certainly more modern hotels in Cologne, but the service is great (the staff is personal and courteous) and the quaint ambience fits perfectly with the style of the house, so I can only award 5 stars for this.

I liked it very much, unfortunately it was only one night. Breakfast was also very good and cheap! If arriving by car: parking garage Nearby is closed at night.

4 star hotel? It must have been a long time ago.
Nothing in the room has been updated for a long time, such as the beds that process any movement in acoustics.
I kept up until breakfast, but when I saw the tide of clinging foil at the "buffet", I knew this day will also be the workday.
The cancellation of my company was then for the receptionist reason enough to call me personally and to ask how it can be. A note that a look at the public reviews on the internet and the editing of these could be helpful, did not come and was answered with a timpani.
Conclusion. After breakfast I did everything right.

The breakfast is extremely good! Very large selection and above average for the price who wants to stay in Cologne cheaply it is just the right thing. But you can't expect great comfort.
There is free Wi-fi there are only a few minutes by subway to the city.

Was so far okay. However, you cannot leave a window at night. The planes are flying pretty close to the house. Not a family hotel, more for craftsmen.

Close to no. 4 tram line, staff seem friendly. But the rooms are dated and there's no air conditioning. Leaving the windows open isn't an option because the road next to the hotel is quite busy.

Made a reservation (28 sep 16) through booking dot com and cancelled immediately because of a mixup. Hotel Kaiser charged me 160 euro anyway. That is totally absurd.

We were really very pleasantly surprised as Bayern a musical visit to Cologne and a super Bavarian ambience. Stylishly equipped with real wood paneling. Very friendly staff, rich Frückstücks buffet. We could not taste anything really.
Super and the front desk to get transport links directly helpful hints to the use of public transport. Very friendly owners, a very pleasant interlocutor with the charm of a man of the world. Comfortable beds and good amenities. In the shower even a hotel hair dryer which works very well. Otherwise all comfortably equipped.
Gladly we come back.

Very bad hotel, don't even where the 4 stars come from, I can recommend absolutely not. Very small room, old and familiar off furniture, we are moved in early on again it was so bad.

Very disappointed. We were already in this hotel and it was not true as we there were used by a hotel 4 star, but it was ok.
The breakfast is really super. Very much to choose from and plenty of fresh foods which unfortunately is the only positive thing about this hotel.
The room was filthy. Hair lay in bed, on the pillows had stains. That's just naughty at a price of 125 euro per night!
Never again we will visit this hotel the next day maybe we thought it an isolated incident was but far from. The bed linen was folded just new but the same spots were still on the pillow. Everything else remained unchanged. Bathroom, living area inside nothing made. On the heater a tufts of hair. Simply just disgusting. The pictures on the website entsprchen by far not what one encounters. Never never again this hotel.

If you are on vacation and not the hotel can look forward to: room was dirty, curtains were probably never washed, many (! ) Loose hair in the supposedly fresh bed, toilet seat, on gegammelte Badezimmeramaturen, trash can without trash bags, transparent trash can without trash bags in the bathroom, twin beds despite months previously as a pair reserved, centimetre thick layer of dust on the Cabinet and uncooled, unsavory breakfast (have also expired need to find) … After day 1 we have not more so just look will around the holidays. Otherwise, the list would probably even longer. What positive to mention: the hotel has a pointed connection to bus and railway. To get away quickly.

I found my stay in the Hotel Kaiser is both beautiful and enjoyable. Know now nothing negative. Was at the Gamescom 2015 since and I've since felt very comfortable. The front Desk was always friendly. The Breakfast was also very good and had a lot to offer. If I come again, I will book this Hotel. My room was also nice and clean, had laminate on the floor. The bathroom has me very well-liked. Okay thats it. Ciao and lots of fun in Cologne.

We have the stay at the hotel via a Deal with Ex-in-the-holiday purchased and had the Same luck" as the young couples from the previous assessment. A sparse room, old-fashioned, dark, eckliger carpet and curtains and a total of more than uncomfortable. The size of more of a single room. A nice cozy weekend we had imagined it differently… there seems to be almost exclusively with vouchers to be worked. The stay was definitely not a value of 234 euros! For someone, the value on Flair, not to recommend. Who only sometime alone in his bed, wants to drop… ok. Breakfast was okay, staff at the front Desk upon personal contact also. The telephone booking was more than difficult, and the staff here is unfriendly.

We have this "4-star-Hotel of the year Annotuk" after an hour of leave. The facade is from the outside only, in part, because, so it has been better times seen. The Empfangbereich, however, is very nicely renovated, there was a lot with wood, which has a slightly Rustic Bavarian Touch radiates. BUT THEN: very rude staff, huge room key which is located only in large handbags can be accommodated. In the corridor, the ceiling, everywhere wires, the smell in the nose rises as soon as one enters it is also from the year 1960. We as a young couple had a Reisgutschein, and we suspect that for that reason we "only" a Two-bed room and not a double room, even after a friendly Demands, we were immediately blocked and it was not possible, the room convert. The hotel room design: small CRT TV, beds from the year 1960 (Etc. ) Stofflampen on the wall from the same year, only the floor has been renewed. To the bathroom, and Breakfast, we can say nothing, because the Hotel we previously had to leave. Of course, without money refund. Surprisingly pleasant, it looks from the outside so little inviting. The room is clean, but quite small, the same applies for the bathroom; electrical installations you have to ask yourself, who made. Nevertheless, the staff is friendly and eager, both at Breakfast as well as at the reception, and the exhibition times. Choice of Breakfast is great, but not everything seems quite fresh (optical), the coffee is good. For an Overnight stay during the fair for a small price is the Emperor Barbarossa is perfectly fine.

Very unfriendly reception! The images of the website are either very old, or very well edited. Breakfast is a together diced bowl Buffet, which with Zelophan are covered, and also partly expired food. Cappuccino as well as the juice bar and the fresh fruit was good. Our room: it was very dusty and worn. If the beds are not at least been clean, we would have immediately left. Because the bathroom was a nightmare! Urinflecken in and around the toilet. Faucets totally calcified. Shower mould and Limy. Cable from the hair dryer stand before dust, just as the inner workings of the heating system. Outside our window was a balcony (not accessible) full of cigarette butts. Of the transport links, the Hotel was Emperor well. Parking (some Free) are available. However, there was no water in the room or in the mini-bar. 0, 2l water cost so much that a whole box of the money could buy. Conclusion: has us almost our trip is ruined! Was once probably a very good Hotel (silver & Porcelain with HK — engravings) but should urgently be renovated.
