Ok. Nice breakfast and comfortable bed. But old and a little dirty looking. Right next to the train tracks. Sound was not so bad though.

Avoid! Run away! One star is one too many for it! They took our money, not only for booking but for the parking too. We arrive, saw the room and we left in a search for a better place to stay. We`v been like 10 minutes there. They made as to pay 100% for a services we didnt use and refused to refund us! If you decided to stay there fist see the room and after then pay! AVOID!

The breakfast is excellent, unfortunately also the only positive that I can report to this hotel The rooms are tiny, worn, curtains fall while pulling out of the curtain bar. It's far too loud outside that I could barely sleep. Staircase so narrow that you can hardly get through with bags.

Good hotel. Recommended for close proximity to the fair. The tram stop is about 600 meters and with about 5 stops you will arrive in the centre. Good breakfast and rooms didcrete.

The hotel was for the price range top. Here and there is something defective but what there is everywhere. The basic thing was cleanliness was most important and that is what we are offered. The breakfast was rich and there was something for everyone.
Can I only recommend further.

Nice hotel. Clean well maintained rooms. Good breakfast selection. Outdoor courtyard seating area. The bar only opened 1 night out of our 3 night stay.

We enjoyed our stay there, we walked from there to all of our destinations and everything was within 20-30 min walk. I did leave my sandals there and still was not able to reach the hotel at this point. I would appreciate if somebody knows their email so I could get in touch with them to get my shoes back.

The hotel is run internationally. The staff was very nice, the rooms clean and relatively new. Breakfast was enough, as you would be used to from a German hotel. The hotel location is located in an industrial area near the KölnMesse. Outside rum, unfortunately, is nothing. That's why only 4 stars. But for one night completely adequate and good.

The receptionist probably did not note the complaint as she was getting complaints every MORNING from us and different rooms. Basically she was just smiling and saying yes we know but you have to send an email to complain as we can not do anything for you here. We did take time to contact their customer service and obtained this gracious email from their customer service saying basically that The customer is wrong and should have complained which we did! I have done many hotels in my life but I will give Ayun Hotel 5 stars on how BAD their customer service is in addition to the poor quality of the rooms. Their reply is just SCANDALOUS! I really hope you make the decision not to stay in their hotels after reading this. I can only share the info with you guys. No hotel more accommodation. Totally inhabited. Looks more like a container. Staff despite the very nice and friendly.

We booked this hotel for a business stay with a group of colleagues. The hotel has a perfect location for the trade show visitors. The rooms are very clean with comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was very tasty. We had a great stay at the hotel and we will come again next year!

Very small room I have been here a week but changed the sheets and from two days no clean aschiugamani and no personal housekeeping polite but bad service.

The twin beds were too small. Toilet was clean but way too cramped. For a kurpulenten guest absolute disaster. You couldn't move at all, let alone use the toilet properly, because you were constricted from the wall and the sink. Absolute no go. Otherwise nicely decorated clean and festive breakfast.

Perfectly fine as a trade fair hotel. The fair is easy to reach on foot. However, there are hardly any restaurants nearby or Just snacks. For good food you have to drive a bit again in the evening.

We were there because of the location to the boathouse. The location is perfect, but we will prefer to book another hotel next time.
The hotel room was unreasonably cold, it was — 3 ° outside and felt 12 ° in the room. Without a second blanket it was unreasonable to sleep. The price was far too expensive in our opinion. The room was very small, dirty and had hardly any light. Not recommended for €100 per night.

We had breakfast here. The buffet was very good. Amazingly decorated and very high end. I was pleased to be there.

Spent a night at this hotel on the second floor. The room was very small and the bathroom even smaller. A croud person will not be able to move in the bathroom. Looked directly at the tracks. The carpet was spotty. There's a board under the mattress. And so you sleep when you come to sleep through the trains that pass by all the time.

We are currently paying $8, 000 for 5 nights on 3 rooms which is $388/room/night and estimate it does not worth more than $50/ night at the maximum! We came into the hotel on the first day, the bed sheet was stained (see picture attached) and the room smells bad (humidity/mold)! In addition, the water pressure in the bathroom for the rooms on the 2nd floor is very low and we can barely wash off the soap when there is some available in the room. Indeed some of my colleagues did not even have some soap in their room. Last element, the train comes so close to our window that it makes the window vibrate and of course we have all the noise from the train coming by every 30-40 Min. I never write reviews or write to customer service but this time I do it as this hotel is a pure robbery! SUITE — 3 to 4 months after initial complain Since DECEMBER, this Hotel promised a refund that they NEVER issued and no longer responding to EMAILS. It has been months now that I am waiting for their 10% refund when we SPENT 8K with them. We should obtain at least 40-50% refund knowing the basic things like shower were not working correctly. in addition to providing very POOR performance and very POOR Compensation, they DO NOT DO WHAT THEY SAY. PROOF attached with picture from their customer service rep. Just so you can see that I am not just talking! DO NOT STAY THERE.

Price performance is okay. Rooms are on the whole quite clean. However, here and there stains on the carpet. Furnishings are simple. The hotel is located directly on a train route, where trains also run regularly. Didn't bother me while sleeping.

We were very positively surprised. From the outside, the hotel doesn't look so great now. From the inside we were thrilled. We had a comfort room on the third floor. Super modern large room, with huge window front and a super modern bathroom. The breakfast was super priced and everything you needed in the morning.

Clean, neat. No refrigerator — that's a minus. 15 minutes on foot from the exhibition center.

Location of the hotel is good. Room was too small. Price too expensive for the old room. The mattresses were totally in the bucket. Would actually be a case for the garbage! Can't really recommend the hotel. Expensive, shit room with even worse beds.

Really not great looking rooms. Small! Nice lobby. Took us 3x room changes to get one that didn't stink or have weird beds with pee stains. Last room they gave us was under a bridge with trains and very noisy. Manager (with the glasses) very kind and helpful. Still not super satisfied. Also not in the city center by a long stretch. You need a car or taxi to go anywhere. Worth $50 max.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights so we could visit the many Christmas markets. The Hotel is situated outside the historic centre in a more residential area of the city. It is close to public transport rail link that will take you to the main city centre in only a few stops. The room we had was a little small but suitable for our needs because we were always out sightseeing. The bathroom was also small and the toilet was squeezed in a corner and you had to sit at an angle to use it. The room was generally very clean with a few deeply set stains. This could have been easily sorted with a deep clean and stain removing. The heating and insulation was superb in our room so our coates fried fast on the towel rail. Free toiletries and a hairdryer were present and worked. The staff were very friendly and were multilingual. The reception staff that we met spoke English better than some of the people in the UK I know and were very helpful. The breakfast is very good at the hotel with a wide range of breads, cereals, cold meat and cheese. They even had scrambled and boiled egg along with bacon. Very good quality coffee and tea on offer. Very early breakfast service and by my observation this hotel is popular with business guest and tradesman.

Great staff! Superclean rooms. Everything was betterthan expected.

Cheap and centrally located hotel. Cleanliness and equipment of the room was good. Unfortunately currently a construction site and therefore not so comfortable.

Our room was small but that's enough for me to be perfect for one night. For longer stays I would also prefer a more spacious room.
Parking is possible for €8/night in the underground garage which is but extremely cramped. Larger vehicles have no chance to get through here.
The breakfast is top with taste and choice!

We have the mattresses, taken from the bed to be reasonably reasonable. The shower is clean but not relaxing either. The house itself is nicely designed, we reserved a double room and the credit card was charged when we were there, the two men at the reception said they only have dirty rooms and we should look for another hotel.
After a short discussion was at once a clean room there, VLT. If it were better we would have taken it that all the rooms are filthy.
And we were looking for another house. Conclusion: Prefer a motel at the resting place as for 109 euros without breakfast poor sleep and an inadequate room despite reservation.

A murky neighborhood, a hotel of poor quality, soft mattresses as possible.
An establishment unable to meet the simple request of a double room, we are sent ourselves to check the number of beds in a room. A decoration that is not matched with the price.
The two stars for the quality and kindness of the reception staff.

Not bad as Hotel, if it were not for the bathroom which does not have a spiral to hunt for odors. Good staff, great Italian girl. You can come back.

I didn't think I look right when I opened the room and saw how small the room was for the price. The car Park is so small that it is difficult to get out. I would not book again.

Beautiful hotel, clean and modern, a little far from the city but very quiet. Breakfast 10 points. It has free parking on the street and if there is no place has underground parking for 8 euros a night.

Room very clean. Breakfast was good. Unfortunately there is nothing to eat in the evening.

Well, what can I say. OK for one night. We will be looking for something different at our next visit to the fair.

This is a great hotel, very comfortable and easy to use. Breakfast is fantastic. It would get 5 stars, but it's a teeny bit expensive for what it is.

Great value, location slightly out of the way on city center but great for Gamescom. Lack of air-conditioning was only complaint but wasn't a big issue. Good breakfast selection.

The staff don't always look happy but they have a good service.

Stayed here for 3 nights during Gamescom. For overnight stay only it's pretty good. It's pretty close to Gamescom (about 10 min on foot), and about 10 minutes with the tram to the city centre. The rooms at the hotel are pretty basic. Our room windows were facing a wall (no view at all), but at least there was sunlight coming in. No air-conditioning in our room, and also no locker for valuables. The beds were great, the shower was fine too. Towels and bed sheets are exchanged for new ones daily. Service was friendly (but they didn't speak English). Lunch at the hotel is pretty expensive (I believe it was € 8.90 pp) but it was large and complete.

Clean and comfortable Hotel for the Cologne Fair.

Had our room relocated because we got a different room than expected. Service was good but no airconditioning or cooling and hotel guests that were noisy all night long. Nothing was done about this.

Nice Hotel, pretty central location, comfortable rooms and beds, suitable for business trips (not far from the centre or the fair area). You can eat and drink in the restaurant on the ground floor: nothing exceptional but comfortable.

Not the best choise. Very small rooms with no possibilities to have a suitcase open, only one chair in a double room. There is no fridge, no A/C and no security box. The bath is a shower with a small basin and the toilet stool is placed so close to the wall and the wash basin that it must be difficult for someone a bit oversized to be able to sit there. Clean, yes! Breakfast sufficient, yes! Bar and restaurant, not open on working days! Also I'd like to mention that the Hotel is situated close to a railway with lots of noice. And lots of noice within the Hotel as well due to bad insulation. This Hotel will not be a choise of mine next time in Köln at least not as a first choise.

Actually, good and clean Hotel. 9 days was there. Good Breakfast, just a shame the Bar only Friday-Saturday.

It was shown to me as a 183 Euro Hotel and Trivago, it was the for 57 Euro. It's ok. From the outside, such as Etap, like Parkinn. So all in all, for 57 Euro realistic ok good and clean. For 183 euros, wishful thinking, never!

Location to the central city wasn't bad, it was on the other side of the Rhine so it's a quick cab ride. The rooms are small but for the price it's reasonable. The service was very good, the men at the counter spoke perfect English. Not bad for the price.

Our room had dirty walls and mold in the bathroom. And Mega was a kid. You could be around just for a bed. During our stay, small groups were at the Hotel, you have to be min. 2 o'clock at night in front of the Hotel rumgröllen heard until they went to the room… The front Desk was busy but felt that's probably disturbing for the other guests, so nothing done. As we at Breakfast noticed, that was us not alone. Sow poor Service… No further recommendation except to celebrate in Cologne, Germany and is self-full.

Motel one copy on the cheap. Here it is not a question of hospitality, but to make the fast euro. More of a shelter for a night.

In a run down area with no night security/staff present, anybody can enter the open side door. The rooms are acceptable but the manager reneged on an agreed booking alteration fee, agreed by email with the booking team in advance, and put an extra €20 on the bill. Buffet breakfast was nice.

Cool hotel and the services fits perfectly ;)

Staff always friendly, rooms and also the bathroom clean. The railway line is very close to the hotel, but the Windows and walls are soundproof (of course, you can still hear a bit of what). And for the price the Hotel is Top.

Tiny rooms, broken shower and beds that are way too soft. The service was good though, very kind and polite.

Hotel is nice, but the location not so good. You don't have near public transport and it's very close to railway.

So, a construction site, the Hotel is not (as I read in another review here) — at least I could find in my 4-day stay. The corridors are quite narrow, if the Cleaning crew is on the way, you have to squeeze on the car in the gear is over — with Luggage, not so cool, but half wild. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, we had apparently a slightly more modern rooms than others, you can look into it. Unfortunately, only a door is between the rooms and gear, the other door between the bed-rooms and a narrow entrance area of the room was taken out (would have been too tight). Thus, one hears but everything that happens on the corridor, which is unfortunately at night, it often woke up. A between the door, which was open in the night constantly, and according to the course drop — in, other nights it was quiet. Is on the gear The bathroom is tight, but very beautiful and in totally in order — through the door, however, are not shielded from noise. Towels and toilet paper were not replenished. The first night it was broken open on the road in a car trunk, but for 8 € per day you can secure a place in the hotel's own underground car Park — what I've done. The area around the Hotel is not very pretty, there are train tracks next to the road (fortunately we got a room, the Windows of which have been shown in the other direction, making no noise pollution). The Hotel is very close to the exhibition centre, and a LIDL is close by.

We had booked two rooms for up to 4 people WITH Breakfast. One on the day of arrival was no longer available! Without Information, we simply receive a different room, with space for 2 persons… Only after some time a second room was made available… Reserved Parking spaces in the underground garage were supposed to be busy also — after further discussion we got then but still 2 pitches… In the hotel room arrived, fell first a lamp shade of the wall… and in the night the backup was kicked out, as we wanted to hang a mobile phone to the charger… unfortunately, we had up to the time of departure, no electricity, at the reception nobody knew where the power box or the janitor had the key and no longer was in the house… At Breakfast, there was pre rolls, deep-frozen inside! And finally, we were made from the "very friendly" staff member's attention to the fact that we have to pay for a room (which we got later still because the booked was awarded WITH a Breakfast for other guests) Breakfast, because it was not posted… the best thing about The Hotel were the rooms. The decor was nice, very nice bathroom, great beds and spacious rooms… Otherwise, I would not recommend the Hotel unfortunately!

Very well located if you're going to the Messe. Cheaper than many other hotels around. Nice lounge. Okay the rooms aren't the most amazing ones but they are clean and in very good conditions. Enough for a business trip.
