Small but fine 3-star hotel in a central location. Room a bit old-fashioned, but clean and large enough. Bathroom clean, could be slightly better illuminated above the mirror. The breakfast is excellent with a wide selection and very attentive staff. Pleasantly moderate trade fair prices! Attention when booking due to the cultural promotion levy, HRS does not sufficiently indicate that a form must be completed in advance for business travellers.

Nice urban Hotel. Great service and staff, absolutely clean! Well furnished, modern, bar and the TV in the room with best colorful programs. S — and tram as well as regional railway station Köln Messe — Deutz within walking distance. Messe Köln as close as the Cologne Arena (Lanxess).

A room to the street where the tram runs is slightly noisy with open windows, but the Windows close well.

Addendum: to the 10th 04.2018 very positive to evaluate is that the hotel has taken very timely written comment on my criticism. The opinion was understandable and comprehensible. What I still absolutely want to Erwähenen, the hotel is in a very central location.
Staff at the reception, kitchen and Reinungunsservice is very friendly and helpful. Lady at the reception has very good information about nearby shops, doctors etc. Given.
Room was not sucked and slightly dusty on the surfaces. Towels, Toiletenpapier and shampoo were always exchanged. Sanitary facilities was superficially not well cleaned. Unfortunately, I first had a smoking room which was very smoky, but on request I was immediately assigned a non-smoking room. Very gratifying:)
I didn't like sleeping comfort because the beds were rather uncomfortable and not fixed. The windows were not soundproofed, but this should happen in the next 12 months as in the 2 and 3 floors.
Hotel facilities were very modest, outdated upholstered furniture, no mini-bar which, however, was deliberately not built from an ecological point of view according to opinion. The WLAN network is super and works perfectly.
Breakfast offer and service are generally considered good and also recommendable.
Conclusion should be eingeganen to the criticism and corresponding quality features can be restored the hotel without hesitation recommend.

The best breakfasts that you can find in Germany! The hotel is normal but close enough to the center, just cross the pedestrian bridge on the Rhine.

A very nice well-managed hotel in Cologne Deutz. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is good, tasty and very appealing. The rooms are modern and functional. The highlight is in my view is the accessibility both by bus and train as well as by car. A paid parking garage is available in the immediate vicinity.

Rooms very small but adequate. Sleep with an open window at night, do not think of it as tram and cars are active all night. American sports Bar on the ground floor. Smokers constantly stand under the window and try to ubertönen the street noise. Due to the proximity to the Lanxess Arena, the price of the hotel is very high.

Nice rooms, great breakfast and nice staff. What more could you want?

Pros — Well located near public transport. Polite front desk staff. Large rooms. Proactive housekeeping Cons — Lift not working over 3 days, Noone to help with bags to the 3rd Floor, Poor internet connectivity, no proper fans provided during peak summer.

Due to the proximity to the Cologne Arena (2Gehminuten) is the Inselhotel for concert-goers with a long how to arrive highly recommended! We had a great view of the Cologne Arena and were able to in the evening, the crowds of visitors are watching! In 20 min you can walk to the Cathedral and in the city centre, in part, leads the way romantic along the Rhine! Our room was very clean and quite comfortable. The Hotel is very well maintained. The staff very friendly and the Breakfast Buffet leaves no wish unfulfilled! Around the corner there is a great Cuban Restaurant Modulation Cubana with delicious food and super Cocktails. Perfect for a drink after the concert. From 23 O'clock Blue Hour! When you next visit the Cologne Arena, we book again in the island Hotel.
