I was on 15.03.2015 for a Seminar at the Leonardo Royal Hotel in Cologne. My review is limited to the extent on the areas of Service / Catering / lunch / staff. To get straight to the point, Royal m. E. Alone the prices. Such a bad and, above all, unambitionierten Service I have, however, long not more experienced. But after the series: The Seminar lasted from 9 to 18 o'clock; the number of Teilnehmter stood at almost 20 people. The Hotel calculated a conference fee of 57, 00 EUR p. P. And made the following achievements in view of: 2 coffee breaks, unlimited drinks in the room, lunch. The meeting area was a bit dingy at first impression, a renovation would be m. E. Overdue. In addition to the conference fee would be 1, 80 EUR Parking fee per started hour has been calculated. That's why I've parked outside. Shortly before the start of the seminar was the Catering for the coffee break: 3 pots of coffee per 1, 0 Liter, a pot of milk and a few Mini-baked goods, as well as a glass with Mini bags of Haribo. Probably we did with our self-indulgent demands a unentschuldbaren Affront committed. The dinner in Buffet Form was at first glance appealing and the staff where attentive. However, the quality of the lower Standard m. E. Is Not. I suppose the dishes were already hours previously prepared:. The vegetables were mostly zerkocht until mushy. The meat, after all, fillet, bone dry. The Brokoli was largely tasteless and waited probably for quite some time, better times, for it was already a crust is formed. The potato gratin was flavorful good, the offered desserts are tasty. The chicken pieces I have not tried. The appetizers Department was manageable (trout, salmon, tomatoes with Mozzarella), taste but OK. After the lunch break, I would have expected that our clearly worded request to a sufficient coffee supply for the Seminar, the staff around had spoken. Far from it. Still only 3 pots of coffee — a second helping was again tough negotiation. The receipt of a row on the foot: to the last break, there was then nothing more. So much for "unlimited drinks". In my personal opinion were price and performance in a blatant imbalance to the detriment of the customer. Because our Trainer was amazed about the grudging Service, I am confident that we have this amazing Hotel for further seminars will be spared. In the meantime, I now also have a reminder. Supposedly, I have my conference fee is not paid, even though the payment directly on site using the receipt is documented. Accounting can be there and apparently not so good.
