My room was simply furnished but clean. The bathroom was quite small. Since it was very warm during my stay, the lack of air conditioning was noticeable, especially since it was very noisy until the night due to the surrounding catering business.

I don't know about the hotel, but the restaurant here is great!

One of those vintage looking buildings with narrow hallways and low ceilings, beautifully maintained. The hotel is located just on the river side and very close to the main station and the Dom. The staff was good. The only thing that might irk is that the bathrooms aren't attached to the rooms but you do get a private one.

The hotel is cozy, the rooms in order. At the single room I had, though, the bathroom outside the room was a separate one. Bath was OK and breakfast good. The staff were friendly. The hotel is located in the middle of a pub virtel so can get noisy.

A very friendly and courteous welcome. The staff and boss come across in a sympathetic and helpful way. Food + drinks + breakfast was really delicious. I can recommend this hotel in good conscience!

Great hotel and restaurant in great location right on the Rhine and near Central Station! Very clean, small fine rooms! In the restaurant you can eat up to three things at night. Always happy!

Very good restaurant, nice service and good atmosphere. Clean Interior. However, terrace a little noisy. I highly recommend the ' Galileo Burger ' attention, it is relieved!

A very average hotel which is good location. Very small and old style bathroom.

Beer was great here and inside the brauhaus the atmosphere was very nice and welcoming. You feel like staying inside service was welcoming and quick.

Clean rooms, but during my visit there were remodeling works. Therefore, the price was probably also cheaper than usual. Was awakened early in the morning. On the spot, I had to pick up the wallet again, because of any tourist tax. You could have done it the same. Restaurant was also not that tingly.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Any time again like. Highly recommended.

Cosy, whether outside or inside. Operation Fast, friendly and customer-oriented. The food came quickly and in excellent quality. Expensive but quite reasonable to ambiance, staff, facilities and location. Everything to full customer satisfaction. I'd love to come back. Thanks to the whole team.

We were for four dinners. That one was ok. Unfortunately, nothing more. Beverage prices are excessive. Location nice, staff friendly and fast but the bill charged for the bidding was simply too high. What a pity.

Unfortunately, the food is not good! Soup from the microwave, lukewarm. Blood and liver sausage don't taste at all. The beer was good and the service very nice. Prices are very high and then do not reflect quality in the food. What a pity.

Our service was very accommodating and nice. A waiter has forbidden other guests to play cards without any justification, I found as an outside guest very guest unfriendly, especially since the guests were probably tourists.
I also complained about the amount of food, had ordered a waffle with cherries and cream and actually only got 3 cherries with a good large portion of waffle anger oak.

Quite expensive, but a top location. The toilet in the room is extremely small. Breakfast OK.

Caution. Totally overpriced and the food is not worth the price. Small portions, partly served cold or with excuses simple complaint ignored.
Never again. Over €60 for some sausages, a haxe, which was then served as an knuckle of pork, and a schnitzel for almost €17, which is better in any other institution, 2 Cola and a cyclist. Sorry, that's what I call a tourist rip-off.

Have already eaten the haxe from the oven in Hamburg and Berlin and they were super crispy and tasty, for that I liked to pay.
But! The haxe here in Cologne was on the side without skin dried up to the bone and the other side with the skin was totally labberig, the sauerkraut was bland. I actually thought that ' everything comes from a pot '.
Furthermore we had ordered schnitzel: the breading not particularly crispy, the meat dry and the fried egg on the schnitzel was very small. I think I was pampered in Korea and Japan with Tonkatsu and the ' German ' schnitzel can pack.
The two stars only get the waiter ' Ke. 10 ' who was very friendly and helpful!

Me and my family had lunch in the hotel's restaurant. The food was very tasty. Menu have some local food that worth to try.

The room was very clean, the bathroom was too small, the shower head disgusting lime. The service in the restaurant is ignorant, unprofessional and unfriendly. Although directly on the Rhine in best location absolutely not recommended.

German restaurant only review (not hotel) — 2 weeks before Xmas, Sat night, we did a 15 minute wait for an inside table. At first we were concerned we were being ignored, as it took awhile to order a beer. Once we ordered it was swift service and they were very nice, they hadn't forgotten us! A bit after being taken to our table we thoroughly enjoyed some hearty and very nice German food (schweinehaxen and steak) and beer. Unfortunately they'd run out of apple strudel for dessert which wasn't a problem for us and it was almost 10pm. Overall would recommend.

In my room the heating was just lukewarm. The feedback sheet already had the hint from the pretenant. Slept with a sweater. Don't go. Besides, the bed has such a huge and pretty stiff pillow. If I just impossible as kilo my head, the legs are hanging up to the calves outside (I'm only 1, 85). So I slept without a pillow.
Besides, the bathroom is pitifully small. I stood for brushing my feet outside and to the toilet you better go back in.
And with outspread arms I reach both walls in the whole room at the same time.
The best part was that the ventilation noise from the hallway was not too loud.

This is an absolute blessing of a restaurant. The waiters are extremely friendly, even though they might not look like that. Reservations are highly recommended since many travellers and even people from cologne find their way here. One of the other many satisfactions is the food and especially the pizza. I haven't had a pizza that great since I visited Italy. In addition to that, the view is absolutely stunning, views on the Rhein. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who is looking for a quick and delicious bite or a accomodation in the heart of cologne.

The rooms are small but very clean. The food is fabulous and the service staff remembers if you ate your entire meal last tim. I would recommend this to everyone.

Not a good hotel, do not accept visits, can not smoke, you charge for all the food is Mahlah me hanrobado €300 for smoking inside the room and on the paper I signed pony €150 a bad experience.

We were here and have ordered Kohlrouladeb with Bacon Sauce and filet of lamb.
The bacon sauce was no Bacon Sauce, but a Möhrchensauce. The fried potatoes were deep frozen food. The sauces come out of the Pack.
A real eckl-food all in one.

We were 2 times, when we visited the Kölner Lichter in the restaurant. It was very very tasty.
Also the service was every nice. Not like in the noodle house in nearby ;)

I ordered Kassel me (with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut) for 16, €90. So far so good, then came the food. And for God's sake of the Kassel was definitely not a Kassel. He was grilled!
