It must be a holiday. On arrival the deceleration of the day begins.
A friendly "moin" from the consistently good-humoured staff allows the holiday feeling to grow. Of course, as in every hotel, you have to fill in a few documents (North Sea Service card, etc. ) but with a fresh coffee or tea it is much more relaxed.
Hyper there was the key, so on to the room. There was the next positive surprise – an elevator. Although I am still able to carry my suitcase to the 1st floor with 36, but you are on vacation.
The room: Huij is place here. In the entrance area you will find a sideboard with kettle, tea and mineral water. This is followed by the sleep and living area. A large double bed, a table with 2 armchairs and a couch (which can probably also be extended to an extra bed) and a TV which can also be turned to the bed.
The bathroom is elongated, large enough. Shower, toilet, sink, mirror – well a bath.
Everything TipTop clean! The Fön is worth mentioning. No €5 mini-Hotelfön, but a straightening power device.
The balcony: So a 4-5 * downtown hotel would probably have made a room out of it. You're the big one! The view goes east to a free field. I. E. Perfect conditions for a good view of the sunset (see picture). 2 chairs, one table – ashtray on request or already there – fits.
OK, put everything down and explore the place.
The hotel itself is just perfect. 100 meters to the brine bath, 300m to the town centre and also the beach is also within walking distance (approx. 1.5 km), but the hotel also takes care of bicycles at BSP (seperate rating). You can also drive by car. Parking costs on the beach: €2 for 4 hours, 4, €5 for the whole day. Parking at the hotel are free and adequately available.
The night: The walls and doors are well insulated that you don't hear the snoring or the TV from the neighbouring rooms. The windows can also be left open. I guess there are no 5 cars driving in front of the hotel per night. If then only very slowly since it is a traffic reassured area.
The beds are comfortable, the bed linen is nice cuddly – I just find nothing to complain  the morning: Super sleepy, off under the shower – immediately warm water without temperature fluctuations – you can go for breakfast.
The breakfast: Lavish and lovingly designed.
I could write my own page about breakfast if I could enumerate everything there is.
In short: bread, rolls, over 15 sausages, lots of cheese, fish platter, 5 jams, honey, cereals, cornflakes, yoghurts, juices, milk, coffee, tea, scrambled eggs, boiled egg.
Here everyone will definitely find something to strengthen themselves for the day.
The move: Since we liked it so much, we decided one day before leaving to stay a day longer. Since our room 17 was already booked, we just moved to another room in the morning. No. 27 is officially a category lower, but is one floor higher:)
The room is a little smaller, so the sofa and the kettle fall away.
For this you now have slight slants with wood cladding and an even better view from the smaller balcony. Very cozy. Beds, TV and co. Have the same high quality as in the other room.
The bottom line: Awesome!
As a lot of holidaymakers, I often find points that could be criticized.
Here I notice almost nothing, which I would change/improve.
That the wellness area closes at 7pm will certainly have insurance reasons and jaaaa OK – I like Krusty Bacon for breakfast, but where is the still fit  there is simply nothing to complain about. The hotel is suitable for everyone between 1 and 101 years. The rooms are great in all categories, the breakfast has luxury hotel character, the location is top and the staff authentic Frisian.
All Thumbs up!
We like to come back.
