Stunning view when you walk through the gate to Rapunzel castle. Worth to visit and have a drink or meal.

LOVED it here. Comfortable room, excellent customer service, excellent meals make for a top value overnight stay. HUGE bonus is the link to and ability to climb Rapunzel's tower. A definite must see for any princess and her family.

Due to many positive reports, we chose the Trendelburg as a location for our 30th wedding anniversary. It's a dream … Everyone lovingly takes care of the guests and special requests are fulfilled like a matter of course. The gastronomy is highly recommended! This is where we cook at a very high level. … Mega delicious … We'll definitely be back!

A Super Romantic castle with 40 m high tower of walkable is torture cellar as well … Super beautiful romantic rooms and fantastic views in the Burghof Caffè you sit comfortably under 2 huge multi-100-year-old shady chestnut trees and enjoy the great views. We had our room in the fairytale tower it was beautiful. A special thanks to the great nice staff. We like to come back.

Basically a very nice place. Unfortunately, after 20 m waiting we still were not served. What a pity.

Very nice, family atmosphere in an old castle. You feel a little like a princess. Food and drink are also priced okay.

A wonderful view and a restaurant with great service completes the visit.
Only Manko-> You can only enjoy the view if you are a customer in the restaurant.

We enjoyed ice cream and drinks at the castle hotel in the afternoons. The castle is beautiful. The ice cream for a finished product a little expensive.
Nevertheless, we had thought about giving ourselves a room here and looking online.
But when we asked where we could dispose of a nappy, it was made clear to us by the receptionist that this was not possible in the castle. We are supposed to look outside the castle for a garbage can.
Maybe the receptionist should first be trained on service!
Therefore, completely entitled only one star.

Absolutely perfect! It was a few wonderful days. The staff is the friendliest thing you can imagine. Just great! The castle and the Ampiente fit just great to another. We will definitely come back!

Coffee and cakes My wife and I were drinking this afternoon for coffee here.
Positive: — Very friendly and dedicated service — special location with beautiful views — delicious cake and waffle negative: — In the years, the furnishings (in need of renovation) — too much nipping — too high a price for the performance received in this location (18, €90 for pot of coffee, cocoa, 1 piece of cake, 1 heart waffle with cream and cherries) conclusion: In this state of spatiality with these prices I would not return. The food was good but not outstanding.
The commitment and friendliness of the service, on the other hand, could cut a slice.

This is where Rapunzel supposedly let her beautiful hair down. We slept in the beautiful tower room. Everything a bit ' dusty ' but clean, nice ambiance. In the evening we ate in the restaurant very tasty and drank a good Chianti Classico Riserva at a moderate price. Nice castle flair.

We had 2 super nice days here. We enjoyed the good food, the massage and the sauna very much. If you want to break out of everyday life it is a great way to relax. The staff and service is outstanding.

We didn't stay here, we only had coffee in the courtyard … it was wonderful!

Love the breakfast. The castle is nice and its decoration has a many details. All the attendees were ver caind. Only problem is that there is no elevator.

I really like this place. It's a very romantic castle. The views. The restaurant. The food. We never actually stayed at the hotel, I live in a city nearby, but I always prefer to go a few extra 40 km or so, only to have that great feeling. The staff were always nice and polite, I cannot say enough great things about this location.

That was class organized medieval event. Varied for the whole family. Acceptable prices. Next year we're back…

Around 1303 at the intersection of a Ford over the Diemel and trade routes from stone and half-timbered Castle built consisting of a fortress at the highest point of a mountain ridge in the Reinhardswald and a fortified settlement with a fairy haunted atmosphere.

From my side in all aspects 5 stars, though the 5. Star with quotation marks, because the waffles with cherries and a small scoop of ice cream were definitely too expensive for the mini size of waffle. Despite all this, a great cuisine, very friendly staff. The rest of the atmosphere could also be 10 stars get.

A heat place to visit. Make sure you climb the tower.
