Very nice well-kept historic hotel.
The restaurant has a very good service and excellent cuisine. Also the spa department offers very good treatments with good products and the execution is professional. The ambience throughout the house is top notch for all lovers of castles. The staff is friendly and very attentive.

Our expectations were exceeded. Thanks also to the hotel for the great room. Bypsy view. Gastronomy absolutely fine. Very nice staff. One can only recommend. But please remember: It's four stars. Looks like five from the outside. But it is not. When you think of it, you don't get disappointed. Value/for money is very good! PS: Very nice cleaning staff!

Nice ambiance and the food is also quite good. But what doesn't go for such a hotel/restaurant are the waiters who, for example, React annoyed with an extra order. Therefore only 2 stars.

Absolute dream of a hostel. The castle is gigantic and very well managed.

The breakfast buffet is delicious, especially recommended are the homemade jams. Absolutely super the Apple Jam ☆ ☆ ☆ The menu in the restaurant does not offer so much choice, but the quality and taste convinced us! A table reservation is recommended.

We had a great weekend experience and enjoyed the tranquility. From the first minute we felt comfortable.
We have once booked the shoulder, neck and head massage and also the Hamam application… we can only recommend:).
Ludmila has done all the work (dropping and enjoying).

The hotel is basically in a good and well maintained condition. I arrived late (after 10pm) and had to pay a €15 extra fee although the service staff who gave me the key was on site anyway. For me incomprehensible and at check out they referred to the terms and conditions as it is noted there. A kulanter deal was fobbed with vigour.
Disappointing, so I will not book the hotel again.
This review reflects my personally collected experience and I am sure that the stay would have made a better impression in other circumstances (Kulanter dealings with guests). What a pity.

Wonderful historical hotel.

When booking directly through the hotel, pay attention: If you cancel 90% of the cost is due. Except the room can be resold by the hotel. However, the burden of proof lies with the guest. The rest can be thought of. From the hotel no sign of will to meet the potential guest. One takes the money from the unattended guest apparently rather than that one will greet a guest later on sometime again. Also makes less work…

Beautiful area, upscale facilities. Nice garden. Always offer events, these are known nationwide. On the footpath to the castle there are numerous chestnuts, for the autumn mark!

We were in the middle of May 2017 for 4 days to guest & had booked the candle light arrangement with the bridal suite.
Very modern bathroom and romantic room furnishings with canopy bed, dining — and seating area. Wonderful view from the balcony & the surrounding windows. The balconies were unfortunately only separated by a metal chain from one, but we were lucky and there were no other guests in the adjacent rooms.
The food was outstanding. Upscale cuisine with saturated portions.
The included massage was very soothing and relaxing (with essential oils & HotStone).
Room service was unfortunately not recommended. We waited 1 1/2 h for our food. After we asked several times and were obviously forgotten, then finally came the food. However, this was the only negative point.
A small spa area is also available with 2 saunas & relaxation areas.

The castle is very beautiful and impressive. It's on a hill so you can enjoy a beautiful view. We were there now in December, there was of course not such a nice weather, but you can guess how nice the park is in the summer. We had a pretty, clean room. Unfortunately, no mini bar in the room. That's a shame, because you have to drive a bit here to find a supermarket. The restaurant is a bit more expensive but tastes good, we were the next evening, but where different food. Since we were the only guests in the castle, I can't write about the usual situation with many gestures, of course. The breakfast was very plentiful, it was at everything there, we had a fully laid table, at a time we had told them. The welness-area is equipped with a sauna and a steam bath, we had enough space, but I can imagine that the rooms will be tight for 8 people. The staff are very nice and courteous. We had the package with Welles and double rooms including breakfast as a voucher, so I can't judge the price performance ratio. I can also recommend Wolfsbrunnen Castle to others who want to leave everyday life behind and want to relax for a few days.

Very chic and historic hotel. You feel a bit like Harry Potter. The rooms are large and furnished according to historical and in a suitable ambience. Unfortunately, the service is a disaster! From unfriendly staff at the bar to untidy breakfast paraphernalia from the predecessor, it was all there.

Top hotel with very nice facilities. Built in early 1900. Evening fireworks. Staff are very good and courteous.

Beautiful place. It lacks a swimming pool. And a coffee maker in the room would be a plus. At breakfast there is a cremant, but if you want a hot chocolate, it is paying! Ca is also missing pastries.

We spent 3 wonderful days in the castle. It is easy to recommend if you:
— look for a quiet and beautiful place for a family celebration;
— eat as delicious and with much love as you like at home;
— to appreciate exclusive atmosphere of a good SPA hotel
— want to sleep well

Fairytale beautiful! This little Aussie enjoyed a wonderful arvo tea here this time last year — fantastic service and divine cheesecake with the best hot choccie! Perfect weather for a walk around the grounds too! LOVE this place — hope to return for a stay some time in the future!

Highly recommended. Great ambiance, super delicious food and the massages in the Spa area are a dream.

We had 2 nights in the deluxe room and everything was almost perfect. The castle is maintained with fast Wi-Fi, the kitchen and the service excellent. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. All are very friendly and helpful. But yet unobtrusive. We haven't been here for the last time.

Clean rooms and good food maybe a little to far away from the other guests rooms.

Very elegant hotel with very friendly service. Excellent breakfast buffet. Well equipped rooms with view on the Werra Valley. My room was quite thin, calls of other guests on the course or birds chirping when the window is closed could be heard clearly.

Super Ambiente, toller Service, jedes Zimmer ist sehr schön, SPA Bereich ist sehr entspannend. Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Werde dort meine Hochzeit feiern.

16. Until 18.10.2015 we had a very nice weekend at Schloss Wolfsbrunnen. Starting from the reception over the Service, the kitchen and the rooms, everything was very affectionate and friendly, without being Intrusive. The food is very good, very attractively served, the staff polite and attentive. For example, had my husband an Appetizer ordered, I do not. I still both also paint a similar Appetizer in miniature, so that we together could start. This and other nice little things to make the kindness of this magnificent castle hotel. All around, a special feature and definitely recommended. Always happy.

Fantastic little hotel in the area. The honeymoon suite is fit for a king!

I have my parents, which is in the nearby town with the audience love a Christmas menu in the said castle as a gift. Since I am not in the area I live was the entire agreement, beginning with the sequence of courses, price, including different wines to match each course, both by phone and by Mail. The staff was not only extremely knowledgeable, but also patient and very friendly. The evening itself was, according to my parents, simply sensational. Attentive Service, perfect end of the Evening, absolutely perfect wines to each course, food is without defects and is an absolute pleasure. The bill was denied as the mail is sent, so my parents came, ate, and went, and thus both ambience of the Palace as well as high-quality cuisine without Behelligung could enjoy. Who in the Werra-Meißner-Kreis a high-quality kitchen looks and a good Weinkjeller appreciate the should Schloss Wolfsbrunnen definitely give it a try!

Incompetent and unfriendly Service at the reception! In case of arrival after 22 clock you have 15 Euro extra to pay! Firstly, I have never heard of, the second was to us, despite check-in from 21:50 o'clock the next Morning, kept, we, 22:30 arrived and should with 4 persons 60 € late check-pay. Incredible! Not recommended.

We have in August 2012 at the castle Wolfsbrunnen married and the wedding is held — the operation was great, the food super and the atmosphere of her ultimate. Absolutely recommended.
