By coincidence and good luck I stayed here on May 1, 1993! I was interested in Muthesius buildings and thus arrived by train (including the Harz steam narrow gauge) that day. The house ("hotel") was clearly in the very early stage of renovation, but I was welcomed warmly. What a chance to experience the house, but also get a sense of the place as it was in DDR days. I recall vividly being given the large room overlooking the front entrance with a single bed and wash basin as the furnishing. I certainly wish that I would be able to return to experience the obvious luxury of today. All the best to current owners/management and sincere thanks to Klamroth decedents for preserving this elegant landmark.

Hotel rooms functional and clean, but without feel-good factor. An abysed hotel and in our opinion not worth 4 stars. Service and restaurant/breakfast rather average. Pets allowed at an extra cost.

We have used a voucher of Smartbox with 3 courses dinner for this stay. The food was fixed and not freely selectable. We promised ourselves more of a culinary evening. One had the feeling to get the cheapest from the card. It was not a highlight and it definitely wasn't worth it for us.

The hotel is certainly not state-of-the-art, but rather an attempt is made to present the architect and his work. This has been very successful here. Restored baths, for example, in old splendour. Every little deficiency gives the bathroom character.
Value for money is ok, the service too, the food very good. The hotel is more than recommended.

Large Room. Mattress good. Furnishing a bit stylishly thrown together, but with a lot of Space to Store. TV a bit small. Bath also large with Bathtub and also plenty of Storage Space — very pleasant!

It is very nice but mainly intended for couples or spouses! In the evening there is a candel light dinner and if they are there with kind it is not a problem because all employees take very good care of the child and gives a lot of attention! Kudos For The Employees! :)

I can only recommend this hotel and would book one again at any time.

Great hotel that remains true to its outer appearance even inside. The service staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and left no wish open by equipment. The bookable parking spaces were located right at the entrance of the hotel. The breakfast was unfortunately a little disappointing for a 4-star hotel, the choice could be bigger. All in all, though, worth a stay.

Warm welcome and friendly breakfast service. The rooms offer good standard, are clean and the furnishings are fine for the price. The dinner in the form of a 3-course menu was very tasty, but in the amount of enough. The hotel I can recommend…

Incredibly boring food, always the same.
Drinks are served at meetings in filthy carafes — disgusting.
Rooms are incredibly cold and not heated during the day.
Heating in the bathroom defective but was repaired.
No fan in the bathroom it smells moist.
The cakes that are served for coffee are a joke, still wet from thawing you just tasted refrigerator.

Quite little hotel beautiful in its own way. Staff are helpful and pleasant. Had a nice breakfast spread.

A very nice hotel. Quietly located in a side street. Parking spaces in front of the house (limited number) otherwise also on the road. I was staying in the main house in a double room. Very large with bathroom and separate toilet. However, shower room is rather bathtub with hand shower. Buffet breakfast is plentiful, including fresh fruit.

Historic building. Nice room with plenty of space. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food was very good. I would have liked to have four more stars at breakfast. We would love to come back.

Minibar in the room. Shower quite an adventure, because there is no shower screen and suspension available. Food is above average.

O. — for the price but not appropriate — Heizungsventil is not operable, and leaking (! ) — Light in the hallway switch search — something old.

I've been there once, it's a great hotel with a great service and good view in the middle of halberstadt city.

Free Wi-Fi in gesanten Hotel. It is now found only rarely. Therefore, thumbs up and my full recommendation! By the way, you can be very delicious and quiet meal.
