Unfortunately, the conclusion of our visit is very divided.
The hotel is really very nice and the price-performance ratio of the rooms is right.

But the kitchen and service were a single disappointment. Our 3-course meal lasted over 2.5 hours, even though toddlers should eat. The first course came after an hour and our wine for dinner was still served afterwards. As a vegetarian, you were given the side potatoes and the side vegetables, even though you had pointed out the circumstance months beforehand. After complaining about it, half an hour later, spaghetti was brought with an improvised cheese-white wine sauce that can never justify the price of 22 euros.
Otherwise, the staff has dealt with indications that cutlery or ordered drinks are still missing, very unprofessionally and unkindly.
Needless to say, the final bill for drinks was also wrong in the end.
Finally, when the problems were raised again the next morning, there was a complete lack of interest in the reception, so that there is little hope of improvement.
One can only recommend to try the excellent Bulgarian restaurant in downtown Blankenburg when visiting the hotel.

Have been there at the beginning of June. A very clean hotel, great location right down to the castle, friendly reception staff and practically equipped rooms. We would especially recommend a visit to the hotel restaurant. The food is excellent and our waiter has been terrific alone. That's why it's worth coming back!

Very modern, chic and well-groomed hotel. It's more upscale class and that impression is given one from the start.

Located below the old castle and next to the park and from here it is not far to the devil's wall.

It was our fourth visit to the Blankenburg Castle Hotel and there was no reason to complain. A beautiful place for perfect relaxation.

My girlfriend and I wanted to make a nice weekend in the Harz. When looking for a suitable (not too expensive) hotel, we came across the Castle Hotel Blankenburg. Already when driving to the parking lot we noticed that it would be a very chic accommodation. From the inside, this impression has been confirmed. Polite and extremely friendly staff greet us with a smile and a tidy appearance.
The rooms are decorated in a classic style. Breakfast and dinner were very delicious and versatile.
A massage was included with us in the price and would be superbly executed.
All in all a good hotel with very good value for money.

We've been there twice now. If you go a second time, if you don't like it, probably hardly.

Now single room — perfect.

First day was good. The cleanliness, well. Day 2 The breakfast buffet was no longer very extensive.

You try hard, but many things are not worthy of a 4 star hotel.
There were no bathrobes for the sauna, items offered for sale were not available, the reception staff made a somewhat overburdened impression. Otherwise the staff was very nice, the cleanliness in the room was okay.

The rooms are spacious, chic and clean, the staff friendly, the breakfast buffet extensive. The sauna in the brick vaulted cellar has a special charm.

This modern castle Hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the small castle and the Baroque gardens. There are rooms with nice views over the city. Short distances to the Blankenburg Castle, the city centre and nature. Our expectations have been fully met.

Good location for hiking in the Harz, modern furnishings, comfortable beds, generous and delicious breakfast buffet. With sauna. Recommended.

Great hotel, clean rooms, very tasty 4 course menu enjoyed. The massage was great in the beautiful spa area. Again, we were great at the vineyard.

Everything was ok, but not what you would expect from the 4 star hotel and for the price that we paid we expected a bit more.

My first impression from outside was very great. Unfortunately, this was not necessarily confirmed inside. The room check in the bathroom… dusty and stained walls… in the second room a little bit better, but at the door close and towel lift came to light the not quite flawless cleanliness of the bathrooms! Unfortunately, the gastronomy on the first evening was not convincing either. The staff were very friendly and the service was very good… Second attempt with 3 course menu was then very satisfactory! So bottom line: You can ´ s also better!

Das große weihnachtsbuffet war ein totaler flop-nur 2 speisen zur auswahl-ente weich und fett und kalbsrücken-besser aber auch nicht gut. Hat mir den ganzen weihnachtstag verdorben.

We just wanted to eat a little thing or drink on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at about 1:00 p. M. We were told right at the entrance that this is not possible.

In the palace park you can experience and see different things very well.

A beautiful hotel with a breathtaking ambiance. The junior suite really carved us out of stool and the services offered at the hotel are also great. The breakfast buffet was a bit small but very tasty.

At least once a year we are guests of this House. We appreciate the location of the hotel, but also the spacious, clean rooms with the large bathrooms. I also like the architecture, the imposing appearance of the hotel.
The staff is always friendly.
However, I would have two (minor) criticisms. For one thing, I find the restaurant terribly uncomfortable. It has the charm of a conference room. Which is really a pity, because the food is delicious.
Especially at breakfast I notice this again and again.
Here I am even at point 2. The breakfast is clear and the selection is quite sufficient. The concept is that the displays are not overcrowded (avoid wasting food). I also find this really good. However, as a guest I came up with something funny that I had to take a few times per breakfast for butter, rolls, juices ect. Had to ask. The service staff could be a little more attentive.
The positive aspects outweigh this, of course, and therefore we will continue to be happy to return.

A hotel in which it is worth to stay. Rooms are in a top condition. Parking at the hotel free of charge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good-everything that the heart desires. We would recommend this hotel again and again.

A great hotel with a awsome vieuw!

The Hotel is modern and yet keeping elements of this historic building. The Wifi is free and fast and the parking area is right in front of the building. The Breakfast buffet was unfortunately not so varied at my visit. The old Town of Blankenburg is just a 5min walk away. Next to the Hotel is the Castle and the Castle Garden.

Super hotel with great ambience. Perfect if you want something like walk in the environment. The kitchen is also highly recommended, if slightly more expensive than the average.

Super really I must say I was surprised 5 stars were perfect only hab1 hair on my bed found no matter trotztem it has 5-star ferdint.

Preis-Leistung super. Breakfast at top: homemade scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. These waffles to the make it yourself. Staff friendly and obliging. Room i. O. Deduction is there for the missing Spa!
