The restaurant is the last! Totally overwhelmed and unable! 20: 15 Table ordered 20: 45 the table is not yet free. 20: 50 placed and 10 minutes later still no one feels responsible times to ask for drinks…

Modern and above all very large rooms, the shower directly in the room is however in need of getting used to — but is just part of the concept. Service very good, location suitable.

The employees have communication problems themselves… they’re really slow to attend, food is really a disaster you guys just have sushi, decoration is also really poor, the only really good thing was the tiny bar you guys have the music was really good played and mixed and the boy who attended us was the best worker there he was the only professional humble worker there.

We were out this weekend again, and are again fully satisfied. The Hotel is a very nice, stylish house. The whole staff is very friendly and accommodating. Since all of the⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐get stars. Again and again we are happy to enjoy the whole atmosphere and ambience.

Not only the rooms, but the entire hotel is stylish without end, and it is not overpriced. The rooms are well-appointed for a short break. The center is a large, comfortable bed, the open-plan bathroom area is directly adjacent. In addition, an extremely tasty breakfast and a great location overall — with a booking in the east hotel you don't do anything wrong.

I can only say to the bar and restaurant: they are not inexpensive, but still great. High service, the food is delicious. For example, they used to prepare sushi for me, which hasn't been on the menu for 8 years. 5 stars.

Were for the first Time in the East… wow! Class Location, stylish courtyard, cosy corners in the Restaurant, class is a Mix of "Old and Modern", the staff at the reception, in the Service at the Bar and in the Restaurant — charming, very attentive, unlikely to be friendly and funny! Class — thank you to the East Team! The Breakfast buffet varied and something there for everybody. And finally, a big thank you to the loving design of our room with a Wow-effect! Also, many thanks for fulfilling our small desires — all in all, perfect in every way! We will be back!

Wasnt able to check in to the room we had booked after several hours after check in, lots of excuses from there side, that they had a bigger party coming. They didn't seem professional or in control of anything. They offered us 2 euro voucher for the bar, which was a joke we said no to. After talking with the reception and after waiting to talk with the manager, we got a voucher for the breakfast. For the big price you pay for the room at this hotel, the service and professionalism reminds me of a one star hotel. Reading their reviews here, it's not the first time they lose the booking or people can't check in. I did get a room after several hours after the official check in time. Beware stay away from the hotel.

I like the East and its staff. For me as a painter 'Fa. Friedrichs' it is really nice to work there. A big compliment to the people who work there. Here you can feel comfortable. Thank you Guido.

Stay from 15/16 4 April The equipment is beyond the standard, great! The pictures of the rooms only hint at that.
The service is good. The open bathroom with its huge bathtub "forces" one to take a bath, all very inviting.

Nice, cozy hotel with cool interior design. Rooms are very clean and quiet. We stayed there for Easter period and we had a nice surprise of finding a chocolate bunny in the room… that was a nice touch. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the receptionist was arrogant and not friendly.

We were a guest at this great hotel from September 19, 2018-21.05, 2018! Already at the reception we were greeted in the most friendly way! We were thrilled with the architecture of the house and the individual furnishing of the rooms! The staff was always very friendly at all times! We were able to enjoy the rich breakfast in a great ambience! In short we were completely very happy with our stay and decided to come back! Thanks to the hotel for the successful weekend.

Super large, modern and extravagant rooms with pointed facilities. All very clean and well maintained.
For breakfast I can't say anything because not spent there.

I was eating around East in the evening. I have been there more often only this time you would have to wait a very long time for the food. That wasn't pretty. But the quality compensates for waiting. All service forces are trying very hard. The location is unique. It's not an inexpensive restaurant, but it's still highly recommended.

Perfect place and design. Full of history. The restaurant is very good in the Japanese style. Large selection of wines. It is the best place in Hamburg For me. The external part of the hotel is cosy as well, you will love that place. The way the rooms are made is amazing. The sauna and wellness area is a perfect place to have a break.

I have stayed at EAST a few times and I love the hotel and location! However I also stayed there from friday 30.03.2018 till saturday 31.03.2018 where the fire alarm started 04:15 due to a small fire downstairs. It was of course very nice that the hotel took the situation seriously and made sure all guests were guided outside while the fireworkers were working etc. However I find it lack of service that no one from the staff the next day or anything told the guests about whether or not there had been an actually fire. But instead we had to ask the staff. Lastly I know it wasnt the hotels fault that Its guests had to stay outside for 30 minutes or so in the morning, but I would normally expect a hotel to at least offer a free coffee or something! But beside that I can only give the best recommendations to this hotel!

The atmosphere and setting were cozy and tasteful. The service was good in the beginning. We ordered sushi en spareribs with wine. The wine was ok (but not price/quality), the sushi was nice, but the spareribs were a disaster! Not tastefull and full of hard knocks. After we attended the waiter on it, we didn't receive any solution or respons. When we got the bill he was just rude!

During the day hotel and in the evening stylish club. The architecture is really tasteful. We love this hotel and come here regularly. Great rooms, perfect staff and the kitchen… just hammer. Sushi takes on a whole new meaning for foodies. We just love it. The location is also perfect. Actually in the middle of it and yet a little quieter. Clear.

For the restaurant service: Young, poorly trained staff for the hospitality industry. Few pros under it, the remaining overwhelmed; Linguistic misunderstandings, shortcomings in appearance.
Food quality: Sushi OK, but slightly overspiced.
Meat: Cooked not correctly implemented (medium rare ordered, almost raw and cold). Complaint. "Shall I let you make a new one? " "Yes please. " Old piece taken with it and fried. Went next to it. For ' dry aged ' is inappropriate at high prices.
Price/performance in my view bad.

In such a hotel you would expect that you will not be disturbed by music at night. The room was very clean and the rooms were very clean.
This unfortunately destroys design and ambiance. Reception takes care on demand of course, that is unfortunately made. But of course it won't. Sorry for such a hotel.

The hotel made a pleasant surprise with a unique room design (bathtub in a bedroom), high level of comfort and a friendly staff. Recommend to check out the restaurant, which also features a blend of historical and modern design. Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel near the Reeperbahn. We enjoyed the stay and loved the room. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and quickly cared for all the needs. The room was very large, modern and interestingly furnished and very clean. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

In itself a very nice hotel even though the bathroom furnishings are probably a matter of taste. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is very good and the ambiance in the lounge was very pleasant. A pity was that the bartender could not improvise or was allowed. There was no soft drinks in the lounge, which was a bit inappropriate for my colleague who drank no alcohol. At least the standard should be given here. Otherwise a really recommendable hotel in a good location. Dom-fest right around the corner, operetta house, Christmas Market and Reeperbahn just five minutes away.

Good but expensive hotel, the prices are for what is offered is just way too high.
The ambiance and the rooms are okay. The staff is friendly but not always so helpful.
Unfortunately, there are no more than three stars in it. Unfortunately there are a lot of hotels in the price category that are better.

The location is very good. The food is good and the service Nice, which has, however, with the attention in the last few hours greatly diminished. There are certainly better restaurants in the price segment where you can also have a normal chat.

Really nice Design Hotel, just a few steps away from the Reeperbahn and St. Pauli station. Nice+friendly staff. Got upgraded to one of their XL rooms with huge jacuzzi. The light switches in the room are a bit complicate. Definately a hotel which I can recommend and would return.
