Great Service, all very attentive. Even as an employee of the guest was well served. Highly recommended, although not my price class.

As a marathon runner, this hotel is great. The location is walking distance from the start line.
Easy to park, very nice spa area. Good breakfast and nice restaurant inside hotel.
I stay here every year for Hamburg marathon, and will definitely come back next year.
Big thanks to the staff for always being helpful and friendly. Big thanks for all the gluten-free food.

Very nice Hotel, be it for business or leisure… Convenienty located in walking distance to the Alster as well as St. Pauli or Eppendorf… Several Restaurants. From French to Italian, International and an Oyster Bar and the Food as well as the Service is very good… The Rooms are large and very comfortable, superclean, a bit outdated though. Service is exceptionell! Good Value for money… totally recommend it.

Very nice hotel. They have probably one of the best and most professional team employs I have ever experienced in a Hotel (and I stay at least 100 nights per year in international hotels) They are all friendly, never stressed and only focussed on "satisfy the customer". Lobby, rooms, spa, breakfast, dinner, bar… everywhere where only people who LOVED THEIR WORK! Awesome and thanks for the good time we had in your hotel!

One of the best hotels that I have stayed. Very well maintained rooms and the staff at the reception are very friendly. Food in the restaurants is delicious. However they are a tad expensive.

I had booked a room at the Grand Elysee Hamburg, which is a 5 star hotel, for my birthday. I found this hotel through Expedia. Unfortunately on my arrival, I had to change my room three times as the hotel did not provide the room I had initially booked, which was really frustrating for myself. I had booked a room with a view, king size bed, and with a shower and bath tub included. When I arrived at the room, although there was a view, none of the rest was included. Room I had booked looked way nicer and bigger in pictures. Positives are that the staff are very friendly, the hotel food was nice and the hotel was in a good location. I also appreciated the complementary champagne that the hotel provided me for my birthday. I am giving you four Stars just because of lovely Staff. Thank you very much for my stay.

After being stranded in Hamburg for 2 extra nights owing to an airport closure, I was allocated a hotel until the next available flight. I was extremely pleased with this. The staff were very helpful, and couldn't do enough for me. The room was amazing and the food there is simply superb!

The view from the window is simply luxurious, the rooms are large and light.

There is now a new Hotel On the Alster, but can't reach the Water for the Grand Elysee.

The underground parking is a bit too expensive, for that 1 star deduction.

A very nice hotel, the staff is well trained, friendly, discreet, professional the hotel lobby very cozy, there was even live music a parrot cage and a super nice fountain system invited to linger.
The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good. The restaurants in the hotel offer first-class Italian and French cuisine I would like to go back here have even met Felix Magath.

Little visited, therefore uncomfortable atmosphere. Coffee, cake very expensive. No inner garden area. You would have to sit at the heavy Rotherbaumchaussee. I'll never go there again.

Great hotel near the train station Dammtor. From there everything can be reached by S-, Subway.
The Alster and the city centre are within walking distance.
The room was clean and the bathroom was very comfortable.

Amazing! Family visit for three nights, beautiful room, great leisure facilities and delicious breakfast. Brilliant location for visiting Hamburg, fab restaurants near by and super transport links.

Great food in the restaurant and very friendly staff. We had a nice day and like to come back. The good location of the hotel in Hamburg is at the same time optimal to be able to see a lot of the city and always find a quick way back. Best regards.

Used this hotel as venue for a business conference my company was running. Lovely hotel with great rooms and nice facilities. Food was excellent as were the staff.

We were there on Saturday and were very thankful for the great live music. Where can you find a hotel that offers its guests? Class and especially great young jazz musicians and a delicious cocktail at the bar. We'll be back!

I was eigeladen on Friday by a colleague for a cocktail in the Elysee. Staff very friendly, cocktails delicious!
The band with the two singers, however, was fantastic! I haven't seen or heard anything like this in a "normal" hotel bar! And I'm traveling a lot…
Bar with music 5 stars, room I can not rate…

The rooms were always clean and spacious. Especially the bathroom is very large and well equipped. The staff is friendly and discreet. Been a few times a guest. Happy to be back before the next port birthday.

Was in the boulevard a few days ago and enjoyed very much the live music there. A detour to the boulevard of the Elysée is always a good change, by the great jazz Band I did not want to go back to everyday life. Great.

Great hotel, keeps everything it promises! I do not understand, however, that such nice hotels, it is not only the grand Elysée affected, also other hotels known to me, very often do not have a working ventilator for exhaust fumes in the indoor bathrooms. Oh, the restaurants and bars connected to the hotel were first class. We'll be back for sure!

Excellent hotel with wonderful gastronomy… A dream for children as there is enough space to run. The large hall is also very nice and the foyer nicely designed.

Great hotel. With swimming pool Sauna hammam. Nice place to relax not too far from the center 1, 6km.

Everything fits here! Those who want to eat particularly well should make a visit to the restaurant Theo ´ s!
It is noticeable that the owner Eugen block is worth the smallest detail.
The rooms are quiet and perfectly equipped!
The breakfast buffet is overwhelming; The service can hardly be better.
Those who book here do not do anything wrong.

Grand Elysée is placed perfectly in relation to the city center of Hamburg, as it's only a short walk, yet sufficiently isolated to be quiet. The breakfast buffet is good, the spa is very comfortable, and the gym is adequately equipped. The rooms are spacious and light, and the soaps are banging! The parking cellar is certainly worth a look, as well. Plenty of hot rides to gawp at!

I live in Hamburg myself and I am always back in the foyer, the so-called "Boulevard" of the Hotel Grand Elysée, on a glass of wine to listen to the wonderful jazz music. For several weeks now I have been observing that music has become younger, more modern, more interesting. All the musicians I've seen since then are on a really high level! I will continue to go there regularly to listen to tasteful jazz in the stylish ambience! My personal insider tip away from the smoky jazz Cellar… Full 5 stars!

Was always positively taken by the location. Staff is always friendly — and new to it: the rejuvenated and high-quality music in the Boulevard! Great compliment to the hotel! Happy again!

We had a very nice dinner at "Theo's" last weekend. Afterwards we had drinks at "Boulevard" and saw the most amazing live band there. We had such a fun time there!

5 stars surrounded by "unpleasant smell"… in the lobby or "Piazzetta" overlooking the presence of the Risto and Bar there is an unpleasant smell of cooked mixed with the scent of rosemary as soon as you enter and the first floor where there is the SPA… It's not a nice business card.

This is my hotel for an 8 day stay, and one that I use yearly for an event. The property is magnificent. All parts are clean. Staff all speak fluent English. Rooms are a decent size, offering updated interiors with a desk, flat panel TV with international channels. On site restaurants are great, and highly recommend the breakfast which is typical German with fresh bread and a variety of other items. Great conference facilities with an on site av team.

Nice hotel, good location. Services and facilities is very good. Wi-Fi Internet access is free. Parking is a little more expensive.

I went to the Elysée not by choice. I wanted to go the Empire Riverside originally but my secretary booked late. Therefore all rooms were gone during the fair trade. Happy incident. I actually liked the Elysée a lot. The atmosphere is classy but not too glamourus. Rather decent how I prefer it. The spay area is really big and I could relax there fast after all those presentations I had to attend before. Restaurant also good. Can give a recommendation.

We are and were for 8 days in the Grand Elysée. Very good and central location close to train station Dammtor, a breakfast buffet at its finest, there remain no wishes open. We come back.

The Hotel I like most in Hamburg. Pros: Pool and Spa are great, freshly made orange juice in glasses of a decent size at breakfast, very delicious food all around. Cons: Serving Italian water 1500+km away from Italy (Why care about my CO2 footprint?! ), Bar closed at 2am.

I was only in the hotel's SPA area and the offer is unfortunately also true underground down here in the basement. The entrance fee is too expensive for a Tegesausflug and also does not do justice the offer. The dressing rooms were clean and comfortable, however, can you say nothing and can also be highlighted. Unfortunately, the swimming pool is a disaster. The whole design seems to be from the 90s. The pool bar was not manned and looks even more poorly than right. The "sports field" may actually did not mention you. Here are 2 stepper 1 rowing machine and I think even a treadmill on perceived 10 sqm. Still short to the sauna. It was warm and clean but as a proper sauna landscape like in other hotels would also be nice.
For hotel guests, the spa area is a good way to relax quickly. But for this in the go to go with security not worth.

I had an excellent stay at the Grand Elysee — quality of the rooms, staff and food were perfect.
