Absolutely overpriced, service poor, despite prepayment total booking amount (double debit) blocked for over a month and that without informing the guest, of the 3 lifts only 2 work during the whole stay, inadequate or no information concern parking or double payment, without reservation no place at the hotel bar (you would not be informed that you should do this) Room was at 16:00 only to move in but the next day at 17:00 not yet cleaned, maid stood after once knocking without answer in the room and asked if you would still need ev service, you answered in the affirmative, but maid did not come after that. The carpet already had stains on arrival Air conditioning was available but could not be switched on.

Unfortunately bad customer service in advance… would have loved to be in this hotel. But after all the false statements and empty promises, as it turned out a day later… unfortunately we have to look for another hotel. Very unfortunate.

For me clearly the view from the 19th floor and the bathtub at the window.
The service at the reception is super friendly, very helpful and also patient if you have one more question.
Also in the spa everyone is super nice.
Breakfast was okay.
I will definitely come back again.

The view to the harbour is world class! It's definitely worth it… Bed very comfortable. Bathroom generous. Also the small window is great, you can open to hear the sound of the harbor and the seagulls.

Very nice staff in really all areas. Great spa area and a terrific breakfast. The rooms stunning especially the view. In any case, the fact that the rooms are very quiet should not go unmentioned. For us a great attunement to the upcoming cruise. If we are planning another city trip to the Hanseatic city in the future, we are guaranteed to check in here again and will recommend it to everyone.

It was a short but pleasant stop. The staff was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, I found that for our breakfast not the offer price was calculated. I would have liked that to be different. The rooms are very nice, the view of the harbour from the 19th floor is unique. I would be happy to recommend it. Despite the irregularity mentioned.

We spent an extraordinarily nice weekend in the Westin. The staff was always friendly. The suite and the entire hotel area were very clean. In the fitness area you could find everything an athlete's heart ❤️ desire.
We had breakfast on the 19th floor. There was a plentiful selection of food.
The view is an experience. From the 10th floor we had a fantastic view of a part of the harbour and the square of German unity.
I recommend this hotel without restrictions.

Absolute value luxury hotel with a fantastic view.

Very nice hotel. The swimming pool is a little cold.
The highlight is restaurant Saffron where we had a nice dinner, almost one MICHELIN star level. The quail was amazing and the tuna also. Very good halibut and fascinating almond soup!

To look at the Elphi in peace, I enjoyed a night in the Westin and my high expectations were not disappointed. The staff was (with one or two exceptions) super nice and friendly (especially I would like to mention the concierge Oliver and Sabrina from the spa area, it is not better). And I have never felt so comfortable in a hotel room: the bed heavenly comfortable, the bathroom very clean, modern, equipped with everything and with fluffy towels/bathrobe and the best: from really everywhere in the room you can admire this sensational view.
Sure, the room rate isn't exactly a bargain, but I haven't regretted a penny. Ps. : It is also worth noting that you can get directly from the hotel reception with the room card to the Plaza of the Elphi.

We asked the concierge for a recommendation to an authentic German restaurant. He gave us a card to Strauchs Falco. We asked what was his favorite dish there and he said he had never eaten there and didn’t like German food. Like fools we went there anyway and it was a steak and seafood restaurant that charged us twice for a seafood platter for two. When we questioned it we got the “language barrier”. Overall the Westin has nice rooms with not so nice amenities for the price.

Beautiful building, rather stunning really. Very mediocre hotel /service inside. Loved the room and breakfast. Everything else was no different than you can get elsewhere. Can you belive even the indoor pool isn't heated? My suggestion, skip it and try your luck elsewhere.

Ok THE LOWDOWN: THe Good: the location; the architecture; the rooms; the view; the beds
The not-so-good — the bath products; the sour night shift check-in staff; dirty bathroom fans covered in dust; no refilled coffee. If you claim to be 5 stars and charge 5 star rates, then these should not be an issue.

Great hotel with a nice view on the water. Cool bar and the amenities make it a good option. Good breakfast buffet and loved the bathroom, bed and towels. Exactly what you would expect from a Westin.

The Hotel staff is very friendly & efficient from the comcierges to the attendants in the restaurant/ lounge areas and room service is also excellent… Great rooms amazing views of rhe city. Very VERY well kept stunning position inside one of the most contemporary buildings of the city.

Stunning hotel! Staff super friendly and helpful. Rooms are big and spacious and beautifully done. Shower is big and powerful. I was in a room looking into interior of roof cavity, so while not a vista, architecturally interesting. Bar is great with views out over the Harbour etc.

The hotel is at best a good 4 * hotel but not a 5 * hotel. Here you actually pay for the view. The bar is overpriced for the poor service. Once you can indulge in the Westin, but the next time you go to Grand Elysee.

Due to the wave of Flu I had to cancel my appointment and cancel the reservation. I asked for a little grace since I have to reschedule for some time later. Unfortunately, the Hotel is very unkulant what is the and the entire amount had to be paid. I'm going to stay in the future in another Hotel in Hamburg.

Super Service. Rooms with excellent facilities and magnificent views of the city and the river Elbe. Extra access to the Elphi for hotel guests is included.

Sophisticated hotel with friendly reception with skillful use of light effects. The guest is invited to linger in the restaurant and enjoy the view of the river Elbe. You will be served courteously by the waitresses. The toilet was clean and well kept. The lobby is modern and welcoming. In summary: Here you can also as a non-hotel guest a nice time to linger, to spend in the great ambiance a time out from the Plaza walk.

Marvelous view, but still short on the little details… Pros: — Wonderful view on the deluxe rooms and suites. — Beautiful design of the room — Bathtub with glass window into the room (it has curtains if needed) — Generally good finish and materials Cons: — The button to open and close the bath tub release was made of plastic and repeatedly fell off… — The shower head was full of lime scale which created a weird jet of water… — The room replenishment person entered repeatedly even though we had agreed a late check-out and it was the day of our check-out… (therefore it being unecessary to replenish the minibar) — I noted when we checked in that it was our wedding anniversary and that I had also noted this on the booking… First they didnt have this information in my reservation and afterwards the hostess at check-in told me she would inform the guest relations team of our anniversary to think o f a little thoughtful something. Until we checked out we had no further contact from said guest relations team. While I don't expect necessarily that a hotel recognizes our anniversary with something special (although this is the standard in establishments of this level around the world), when they do create the expectation as the hostess did, I do expect some form of follow up.

Perfect, but the cost of parking in the hotel is too expensive. 50 Euro per night. Also the cost of breakfast per day and person at 30 euros too high. Nevertheless, I recommend this hotel.

Only the location and the view are really special here.
The room on the 18th floor was clean and technically fine.
At the check-in you had the feeling that there was chaos here and that the staff was not really professionally trained.
Due to the viewing platform around the check-in and bar floor, you feel a bit like an animal in the zoo.
The breakfast was fine but far from the value of what it cost.
Scrambled eggs unseasoned, replacement cutlery only on demand. Well, as I said not bad, but others can do much better.
The crowning conclusion will probably be the bill for parking right away. As we heard at breakfast it should be 50€ for the night.
But that's really outrageous with these room rates.
Update:
Parking must be paid for in the garage at the vending machine, presumably so that the employees are not involved in discussions at the checkout.
For the fact that it is a parking deck for the hotel, it is somewhat strange that you have to walk through the entire parking deck to find the cash machine.
And actually, 50€ parking fee!

We liked the visit. The furnishings were great. Except for the parking fee for a day €50 that's already fierce.

Didn’t stay at the hotel but we’ve been to The Bridge Bar, the staff were very polite; the view is spectacular and so is the building.

Very good hotel, in prime location, clean, pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Our room was big, great view to the Elbe, with all the amenities.

After concert end (about 10pm) very crowded and hardly a table to get at the bar. But before that it was wonderful and very quiet with a view of the container harbour and the Elbe. Friendly staff. I'd love to come back.

The Westin Hamburg has exceeded my expectations by far.
The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very good.
Especially beautiful is the location and the indescribable view from the huge panorama windows in the stylishly furnished rooms.

A remarkable Idea is to get a hotel in the same complex as the Elbhilarmonie. Nice place, very good breakfast, great rooms with sea view. All very well.

Here, bookings by the hotel are suddenly canceled to make room for apparently more important guests. Incomprehensible. See the media reports of 3.12.2017.

The hotel located directly in a concert hall is a perfect idea. Staff is very interested in providing a 5 star feeling. Food served in restaurant oder executive lounge is unfortunately not worth a 5 star hotel. A cheeseburger for 20 Eur was delivered with nothing special in it or on it. But not worth the price with an additional service charge of 5 eur extra for delivery to executive lounge where in the evening time the warm food is also not worth to be mentioned positively. No interesting selection, more or less convenient food like better spring roll and mini pizza from refrigerator. The sweets and one cold appetizer was nice. Breakfast in the executive lounge is plain standard of a 4 star hotel, but not a first class hotel that wants to be the best Westin with healthy food for a better life etc at least in Germany. Good things to talk about : Nice pool, spa with a fully equipped gym, the size and features of the suites, the friendly and 5 star staff in all areas. Interior design is great for guests that like not too much pictures and accessories in the rooms. The view is great.

Rooms are clean. Breakfast was very versatile. Service is very good.

The room was great. We had booked for the 16th floor and had a beautiful view through the huge panoramic window. Also the bathroom was great and the view from there to the Panorama window is a great idea. Small deduction for the non-working scale and the thick dust on the upper third of the Panorama window. The breakfast was simply sensational. No more. One of the local employees (Asian origin) is particularly noteworthy, it is better not to worry about the customers. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, at the beginning 100 euro deposit off, even if the room is already paid. We have not experienced this in any hotel and this is simply superfluous for the announced customer base and almost a little embarrassing. Therefore, instead of the possible 5 stars only 4.

The hotel is clean and tidy. The staff could be more trained and competent, and in many positions they tend to radiate uncertainty. The SPA area is much too small, the pump from the pool is very noisy, the loungers are unfortunately right next to it.
The Bridgebar is more reminiscent of a dining car.
In the hotel hall and the bar, visitors to the viewing terrace squeeze their noses at the window to catch a glimpse of the hotel.
It was nice to enjoy the view from the room to the harbour and the breakfast compensated for many things. We will not repeat it.

I celebrated my fiftieth birthday with my wife at the Westin in March. We had a suite on the 14 floor. The bed was huge. The view from the floor-depth windows is unique. The service top and very attentive. The Westin club leaves nothing to be desired. It is worth taking a suite. The Elbspa area with the large swimming pool is a feast for the eyes.
He was definitely not the last booking at the Westin Hamburg.

Beautiful rooms. I had a lovely habour view on the 16th floor so amazing vista. The room is clean and modern with an understated effotless style. The bar is on the 7th floor but still lovely views of the harbour and city. However the viewing terrace is also at this level so expect to see lots of people milling on the other side of the floor to ceiling glass surrounding the bar and reception area.

Spectacular architecture, but there would have been bigger potentil inside the hotel. Small spa and dark restaurant; everything felt a bit chaotic. Hopefully there will be service improvements in the coming months to justify the high rates requested.

Excellent. We enjoyed our stay very much. Breakfast had plenty of choices and included healthy options, the staff was always kind and paid attention and the building itself is just fascinating, especially when you have one of the panoramic windows towards this beautiful city. Highly recommended!

Во первых, парковка с космической ценой. Обслуживание безобразное. А цена поднебесная. Одно второго не стоит. Грязные коридоры, в которых то горит, то не горит свет. Ванная комната уровня хостела. Отвратительно. Одним словом, когда мы поняли, что отель ужасный хотели дать ему шанс из-за вида, но не выдержали всех остальных недоработок и выселились через четыре часа. Конечно деньги нам никто не вернул, но и черт с ними. Надеюсь вы не попадёте в этот отель, в котором вас не ждёт ничего кроме разочарования и бесполезных трат.

Had a superb stay in this fantastic hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff. Design is ultra modern, yet cosy and warm. Heaps of space in the room with an extra comfortable bed and a large bathroom. The location is unbeatable. Views are amazing. Breakfast buffet plentiful with great options. Definitely one of the best!

Amazing new opera house with great views of the harbor.

We were only at the spa, but that was still very much below expectations. Dirty windows, cracked discs, in the Loubgebereich a fan in the volume of a dryer. Very modern, tiles and faucets very very modern, but unfortunately everything has the coziness of a Ubahnhofs. Well, this is a matter of taste, the cleanliness (ceiling in the shower broken, dirt next to the swimming pool etc) unfortunately not.

I was only in the restaurant and bar, but that was enough.
A hotel of this price class completely unworthy: Some incompetent staff, who is also unable to distract from his ignorance with charm or friendliness. On the contrary, it is still being underpainted with unfriendliness. Monosyllabic answers to normal questions.
The food was not even and went back. The dosage form had a better snack character.
The cocktails were good but the staff were unfortunately overwhelmed with the card.
I think you should be able to answer questions about whether there are cocktails with rum, for example.
I also had a hair in the glass, but that was by far the least disturbing.
Luckily I didn't have to stay here.
There is an urgent need to do something about the staff. After all, the Elphi represents Hamburg for many tourists.

New hotel. Therefore still having starting problems. Staff sometimes gives impression to be inexperienced. Food choice is small. For a place in this category one would have higher expectations.

Contrary to the currently partially "mature" evaluations, we have not been able to find a single reason for the lawsuit. On the contrary: very obliging, friendly, cheerful staff in a beautiful ambience in the undeniably most beautiful location of Hamburg. Small attentions included.
It is currently one of the best hotel experiences for us.

The location is perfect; we had directly visited the Elbphilharmonie. The Suite is modern, the others have to say objectively. The view, we had the port view: Top! But; ups, standing in line in front of the Breakfast room.

Were in the café on the 8th floor. Unfortunately, the outlook was the only positive. 15 minutes until you get the card and very bad coffee, which was also in the second start (operation has been troubled) no better… and that at 4, €50 for a small milk coffee that was none. No good publicity for a supposed premium house. The hotel itself I can not judge.
