A good hotel with a walking distance from airport. Rooms cleaned every day, a best choice who travel transit, or for a short stay. Room service and front desk is good. Quality equals to price offered. Restaurant is good and not so costly. Wide variety of dishes offered.

Nothing special at all, the shower head was broken, the air conditioning barely operative, I set the fans to the maximum and the temperature to the lowest and yet all night it was too warm (about 25° C). Opening a window wasn't of any help in a summer night. Restaurant not very cheap (not taking into consideration that most dishes are simply made from frozen products that they cook). Pros: the lobby is very inviting. Only recommended if you just want a quick place to sleep and don't need it to be fancy but whatever price isn't worth spending it in this hotel.

Simple but pleasant hotel, reception absolutely professional and helpful. When the windows are closed it is air-conditioned absolutely quiet. When the window is open, you can hear the road and airplanes quite loudly …

Less than fifteen minutes walk from Hamburg airport, the Ibis is a perfect hotel for those conducting business in the area or wanting somewhere close by for an early flight or if arriving late. It's what you'd expect from an Ibis, the fundamentals done well. The bed is comfortable, the room offering this along with a bathroom and somewhere to hang up your clothes. If you expect a mini bar, kettle, hotel gym or the like, look elsewhere. However, if you need a place to sleep and grab breakfast, this will serve you well.

It is a clean and tidy hotel. The bar cafe downstairs is basic but the staff are friendly even though the menu is not very inspiring. I would stop again especially if catching a plane the following day as I am this time. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a room for a night close to the airport.

Overall, we were negatively surprised.
First of all the positive: The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
Our experience: When we came into the room, there was no duvet.
Downstairs at the reception the lady was rather annoyed than ashamed that we asked for two duvets.
In the evening we realized that we had to post a post (changed circumstances).
That was no problem, we thought…
Another lady tried several times, with a calculator, to reckon, which cost 1 double and a total of 4 breakfasts in addition.
After the fifth attempt and the fourth result she was sure and we settled the bill.
When checking out we should then 31, €0 after payment: "We have paid too little for the room and only 2 x breakfast, we were yes but 2x for two" We paid after, the third bill received within 2 days Ibis and are disappointed by the "specialist staff".

Was robbed on 12.3.2018 While I was at breakfast. To date neither the Gechäftsleitung nor Irgendemand of Acor has reported to me whether my damage nor how I am. Super Management! My room was opened with the chip card. This place has seen me for the last time! Do not leave anything in the room!

Everything as it should be, except the time when checking in. Were around 19h there. Only one ma who was very friendly, so we needed a good 15 minutes from entering to the room.

Hotel was first choice until this year for me at airport Hamburg. Without hotel transfer from the airport, which was discontinued this year but unattractive for the future and does not come into question for me anymore.

You cannot really expect great things from an IBIS hotel but this was definitely one of the worst IBIS experiences I ever had. But let's start with the positive things. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the airport. There is a nice and wide sidewalk that gets you from the terminal building to the hotel and it takes about 10 minutes to walk. If you have more luggage or prefer not to walk you may want to consider a cab. This is all the good things I can say about the hotel. The staff at check-in and check-out were incredibly rude and unfriendly. I had checked in online and when I arrived I got yelled at by the receptionist because I did not say that I had done so already and that I entered my name into the computer for no reason. The room I had was run down and not as clean as it could be. I could go on with negative points but they main thing to me really was the unfriendly staff. There is plenty of options to stay at other hotels in the area and I will definitely not return.

Classic Ibis rated comfort, advance payment, as often in Europe, continental breakfast rather above the standard Ibis, a safe value, no (bad) surprise;)

Hotel relatively close to the airport (virtually unreachable on foot). Small rooms with the usual German ibis scheme, circular bathroom made in a rather small room. Poor cleanliness with lots of hair in the shower and unpleasant smell in the hallways. Restaurant, unique nearby, with a small menu is not varied. Breakfast. I only put two stars for the reception guy who speaks Italian.

This is quite a nice hotel. The lobby is Nice, with polite staff, and the elevators and floor plans are nice. The rooms however are not the largest you will come across, and are in need of refurbishing. The toilet is like something you get in a boat, with plastic floor walls and ceiling. There are no small bottles of free toiletries, and no benefits for ibis members. The "shuttle bus" is actually a local bus, which is quite nice but not that frequent or practical. The stop is a 3 minute walk from the hotel and to find the bus you'll probably end up walking to the stop; back to the information desk to ask which bus, then to a cash point and then back to the stop again… Also it only runs up until 10pm approx.

Again and again we like to come here for acceptable money when we visit our grandson. So far, special requests have always been fulfilled. The staff is very friendly, the rooms adequate in all matters except: Please never re-cover for a double bed. Luckily: Changed within minutes on request. Prima! Only thing we lacked: a "good night Martini". Martini is unfortunately not offered. What a pity!

Very friendly staff, parking right outside the door, gave nothing to fault! Happy to be back!

I thought that the Breakfast buffet was included, as shown in the Google reviews, but the cost of 11 € is all right. The room was nice and I had a very calm night.

For the price it was perfect! Comfy bed, air-conditioned, hot shower — that's all I wanted! Staff was friendly and helpful. There's a restaurant and bar with limited choices. Unfortunately they don't have a shuttle bus anymore. 15min walk or €8 with a taxi.

Confortable and good service Hotel. Close from Hamburg airport with a free shuttle! Rooms are clean.

Comfortable and quiet. Good breakfast. If arrive later than 11pm the shuttle service has stopped and you must walk. Not a long walk however can be tricky to find.

Other people reported difficulty finding the shuttle bus. The phone for the hotel bus is in the information centre terminal one from here phone the hotel then make your way to the airport plaza one floor up between terminal one and two then short ride to hotel which is clean tidy and looks well maintained large shower.

We stayed one night in this hotel on our way through Germany. The rooms are big enough, nice and clean. The breakfast is great, and with the service from Gundula this is as close to 5 as it gets. Thank you for a great stay!

Cheap hotel with cheap rooms with cheap furniture. I thought for a night arriving late and going soon in the morning would be ok, but I was wrong. The shuttle service was a disaster and the driver very unfriendly and rude, accusing me not to be there, after waiting for a half and hour he comes. Finally I had to walk to the hotel, because when he came a family took all the space in the van. At least the guy at the reception when I arrived was a good professional. The hotel is around 15 min walk from the airport.

It was comfortable and had everything I needed, but nothing else. It isn't a luxury hotel the rooms are small and simple. Bed, small TV, desk, small bathroom and nothing else. On the other hand, I didn't need anything else and the bed was comfortable. There is also a nice lobby with bar and restaurant with a pleasant vibe. It had a good number of people each night I stayed.

Expensive hotel for disappointing services.
Rooms without any charm, and uncomfortable (rigid office chair, PVC shower room, laminate with noisy floor, non-existent soundproofing…)
Additionally provide €11 extra if you use their parking.
Only advantage to this hotel, the proximity to the airport.
Rather choose the Leonardo Inn right next door or another seen the offer around the airport.

In front of the hotel and in the lobby is drohteb people to beat. It was quite a lot going on, almost like in a youth hostel. Rooms were clean and as you would expect from an Ibis.

Stayed for one night at the hotel. It is very accessable by foot and you need ca 20 minutes to the center of hamburg. The rooms are sparsely furnished, you feel the airport hotel character. Nevertheless the service was very good, staff is friendly and food is eatable.

Highly recommended for hamburger prices. Airport it is also fast with a free shuttle (request at reception) or public transport in just 3 minutes. The rooms are top and the staff very helpful. The rooms have all free Wi-Fi, a bathroom with a large shower and a comfortable bed. The nights are very calm thanks to soundproofed Windows. In the hotel guests can enjoy extensively breakfast for 11.50 euros (children half), a restaurant and a bar to expand the. The staff are very friendly also for the children, what we knew to appreciate, and what has pleased all. Who wants to print out something, who can do it in the lobby on the PC with printer. PS: a direct booking at hotel prices are partially cheaper than test out over the Nuchungsportale, therefore easy both ways. Conclusion: there is nothing negative to report, we were extremely satisfied and can only warmly recommend the IBIS Hamburg Airport.

An overnight stay here for a recent business trip was fine. Ibis are always good value. The room I had was quiet and comfortable, it was actually one of the accessible rooms and I can imagine this would work well for a wheelchair user being conveniently close to the lifts. The breakfast buffet was fine. I arrived too late to sample the evening dining but those in the bar were happy.

The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the Hamburg airport and is served almost around the clock with a bus-shuttle. In the city centre, you need less than 20-30 minutes with the public.
The entrance hall and the restaurant and the bar are very chic and modern. Also transferred there also all major sports events via sky.
The rooms are actually quite ok, especially the new beds are very comfortable. The hotel is to recommend in any case.

Walk 10 minutes to the airport. However, a Shuttle service is offered. The Restaurant is super. Huge Portion for a good price. Furnished with style. The rooms are clean, however quite small, which is fine for a night out. The bathrooms remind you, however, to a bathroom on the AIDA, which are even bigger ;)

Complete lack of service. Bad standard for rooms/bath/cleaning. Would never stay here again.

This hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the Hamburg Airport. We have stayed here one night. I have to say that the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our hotel room left a lot to be desired over however. Dirty bathroom, a funny smell in the room and absolutely no soundproof walls. It was but tolerable for a night. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service and features a small restaurant.

Reasonable price for a hotel near the airport. The shuttle service is allocated on the eve and then promptly takes you to the Terminal. Recommended for a preliminary accommodation.

Great Hotel. Pleasant Employees. Good Breakfast, clean rooms. Free shuttle Service to the Airport, from there you need about 20 minutes by S-Bahn to the city centre. We will come again.

Clean Rooms. Equipment zweckmaessig. The Restaurant is good. For the price of 39 Euro perfectly. There are, unfortunately, the price does not always.

Nonsense, the airport is only 1.5 km away. There is even a Shuttle service. Good Hotel. Sometimes just a little loud. Still good.

The station is located in front of the door, but the Hamburg airport is a half-day hike away. A stroll through the Alsterarkaden is dagenen no Problem.
