In short: appointments are forgotten, reception not compromise located ready, Sanitary facilities in poor condition, the Hotel is otherwise nice, rich Breakfast buffet with attentive service, location very good, stable and fast Wi-Fi. The last assessment of my Borkum-holiday. I go after a week with mixed feelings from the Hotel Bakker, wherein I need to differentiate things from each other. The Hotel itself is located in a rough Overview of the beautiful and good. The input range affects the upper middle class. Desk is equipped with Seating and vending machines for late night Snacks. Front Desk: We had booked half a year in advance and wanted to get to the rush of the parents-in-law a year before, not a corner room, as this is rather small. In other words: It is the room X1 (11, 21, 31, 41). However, candy in these rooms: No neighbors to the left and to the right. I had requested extra and it was agreed at that time. Of course, there was some discussion about why this was not listed. Reception was but then difficult to Compromise, since everything was fully booked — the first fly in the ointment was a bit dubious about the I me. Rooms: You get either a room towards the street, or a room for the lighthouse directed. We have both in a holiday experience, because we had booked an additional day with a single room to the road. The quality differences are subjective as to the main season, there are on the road in the evening, more commotion and screaming children, as on the other side of the hotel, completely quiet — no fault of the hotel, the location makes. The rooms themselves are adequate to the price. Ordinary beds, with soft pillows (but that's a matter of taste), thick Blankets, and a view of the new lighthouse. An ugly wall decal with a clamping plate as a shelf on the wall detracted from the impression of something. Balcony with plenty of space where the chairs can also be used as balcony furniture. The TV would not even reach my aunt for the Ironing room so small he is (I'm guessing 15 inches). Stable fast Wi-Fi (for the technicians among us — no Client Isolation! )

Bathroom: In the bathroom. Since we have moved into two rooms, may I allow me to make a judgment: It is very small. Shower, pot, and a low sink. The valve part is leaking and the pot itself could be screwed to the floor, because you can rocking on him back and forth (for the operator:. Room 39). The cover for the ceiling, a kind of hole. Something you should have m. E. N. In view. Air fan, no window. If you take a shower, you don't have to stick the curtain on the butt, so beautiful. Everything else was in order. Ordinary towels and All-in-one shampoo, ordinary hair dryer. Breakfast: here the praise is coming! The Breakfast room is to the main season, of course, very full, we got but second is still a place. The Breakfast lady is very attentive (I think there are two of them), than they are to us, she looked looked immediately for a place. Coffee I didn't have to ask, ever since. I felt cared for as for a long time. Breakfast buffet is lavishly stocked with fresh fruit, Toast,. Bread rolls, cereals, eggs, scrambled eggs (no bacon) and all sorts of cold cuts and jams. Tea are also there. For me, there were no complaints — Super

Conclusion: The Hotel benefits from a unique location in the centre of Borkum, at a good price-/performance ratio. The rooms are in order, however, the line from the States and check. Also, the reception should make arrangements with the guests and not only by phone pledges and then forget (or so it seemed to me, anyway). Breakfast buffet was super.
