We were shown great hospitality. The rooms were v good — plenty of room and good facilities. Best coffee in Berlin.

Perfect. Very much space, very clean, beautifully designed and furnished. A very good alternative to the usual hotels. You feel right at home.
Free baby bed for our mini was there. What more do you want?
The location is ideal if you are in the area and are invited. For us it was a short walk to our hosts and on the other hand all the cafés and restaurants you could wish for at the door. Clear recommendation.

Cordial staff, good locations and simple yet nice apartments, with all the essentials and with a balcony on an internal courtyard. Good internet.

Not the best and not the worst. Be aware of hot rooms in the summer with no ac or fans. Older room on the right upon entry have much more space than newer rooms but bath tubs in the bigger rooms are more riskier to get in and out because of the deep and high bath tubs. Just be aware and informed and don't leave yourself vulnerable to pay anything extra that you don't have to.

Apartment located in a very old condo with stairs in very bad condition. There is no elevator you have to do up to four flights of stairs. Very hot at night it chokes and noisy rooms. A dive into the past in the east berlin.

Great location. Lovely clean, well equipped (soap, hairdryer, toilet paper — always great when a place provides these) room. Room looking out on to the street so a bit noisy in the morning but would return if in the area again. Also a lovely courtyard to sit in in the evening if you don't have a balcony.

Nice apartment. Sufficient space for 3 adults who stayed. Good kitchen/dining area. Close to Metro. Alexander Platz 15 minute walk. Local stores to buy food/groceries. Overall, a very nice place at a very reasonable price. Would recommend highly for a small family/3 adults.

Great location in central but quiet area. Spacious apartment. Bright, clean, simply furnished and with everything you need for a comfortable, highly recommended stay. With young children and older people ask for a low floor or the area with lift.

Only downfall was the rude receptionist. She said they don't like group bookings and if we made any noise after 10pm we were to be "thrown out" the following morning.
In my opinion if they don't like group bookings why do they have apartments that hold 6 people?
It was my friends hen party and it should had stated on booking or the website that they do not like hen parties or so.

It was a fabulous stay, we had a great time. Friendly and helping staff, clean rooms. There is no daily cleaning, but when we ask for clean towels they changed them Without any problems. Delicious coffee in the corsini cafe at the main entrance. We will be back!

Great location. Comfort, calm and clean apartment. Only one remark: you need to check your lock when you leave apartment. It must be in the vertical position. If it isn't the case you cannot open a door with magnetic key.

The location is very good but not the service: no change of towels or cleaning of the room during your stay. They don't even pick up the trash. The sheets had fleas and we ended up all with stings. The bad smell of the hall and the reception is disgusting.

Schoen House is without a doubt my "home-away-from-home" whenever I have visited Berlin since 2007. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The neighbourhood is centrally located and safe with a variety of local shopping and cultural experiences. The staff are very professional and courteous. The price isn't exactly cheap, but well worth the overall experience. Highly recommended.

We have stayed for four days on the December bridge. Good location to get on foot to Alexanderplatz with alternatives also by metro and tram. The apartments are very correct even though you are missing daily room service and change of towels.

We hired an apartment for three adults and a 12 year old teenager and we found two single beds and nothing else. They intended for an adult to sleep in a folding hospital bed in the living room and for the teenager to sleep between the two adults. It does not correspond what they advertise with reality. We complained and pretended to pay more. In the end an adult slept on another old mattress on the floor K brought us and the teenager on the couch. Don't trust the publicity pictures. The breakfast was very nice and the Malisimo coffee. That was calorcete and it was clean.

I found and booked the Schoenhouse apartments because of the good reviews, but unfortunately we had a somewhat mixed experience. First of all we had an apartment on the ground floor where the Wi-Fi was not working. 3g or LTE on the phone was also not received. Moreover, the bed was broken (cheaper Ikea slatted) and it smelt in the room for smoke. Our complaints were however followed and we finally got another apartment on the first floor which was much better. WLAN worked well there and there was a box spring bed. It is also worth mentioning that the shower is not special, either very warm or very cold. Heating worked very well though. Breakfast is OK, but extra charge for Café Crema and fresh O-juice, which must be at the price (we paid €125 per night for 2 adults and 1 toddler) also not be. Staff all friendly but could have been more professional. So I would recommend the Schoenhouse Apartments only conditionally. By the way, the photos on the website are just examples and the rooms don't look so good in real. We won't be coming back.

Excellent value for money, great location in Berlin. I recommend you to have breakfast: organic eggs, freshly squeezed juices, meats and cheeses, fruits and coffee. The only reason for the 4 * instead of 5 is that we thought we had a separate room in the apartment — it turned out that we sleep the 4 in the same room, if not perfect.

All-round city trip. Always happy to stay in the Schoenhouse apartments.

We stayed 2 nights in this nice Berlin apartment, a few minutes walk from Alexander Platz and a few meters from the subway. Area full of clubs and shops of all kinds. Apartment, for 2 adults and 2 children, with two beautiful bedrooms, entrance, hallway and living kitchen very well maintained and clean. WI FI and free parking and friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money. The lack of lift is unique.

A wonderful apartment to comfortably accommodate 4 people as the sofa bed was quite uncomfortable.
The location a 10 minute walk from Alexanderplatz was well connected via metro and trams.

It is a really good place to stay for any reasons — business or private. Ask about beds to sleep when come more then 2 persons in one apartment as the sofa bed is really not an option. Breakfast is good but with few options only. Very good acces to metro station, tram station, etc. I do recommend the place.

Lovely and up to date studio with balcony. There are restaurants, bakeries and supermarket in the local area. The location is excellent, only 5 — 10 minute walk from Alexanderplatz and 2 minute walk from the underground. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I have no complaints at all. We had a great stay and loved Berlin.

Nice apartment, located in a garden. It does not feel like being in the heart of the city. Ideal location to visit Berlin. Breakfast good and hearty.

Nice place! We really enjoy our stay here. The only think to bear in mind is that there is no housekeeping service during your stay. The location is good. There is a metro station 2 blocks away and alexanderplatz is 10 blocks away from the apartments. The service is great. Everything was clean when we arrive and the apartment is big and modern. We definitely recommend it!

Great location. Massive room but found someone's old socks under the bed. Breakfast staff and reception staff very friendly and helpful would go there again. Location brilliant.

Courtesy, comfort and beauty. Near the Metro stop Rosa Luxemburg Platz, easily accessible from the airport with a few changes, offered us a comfortable and functional apartment as well as courtesy and availability of the owners. We travelled in 4 and we were assigned a flat on the ground floor, divided by the hallway with bathroom service in two rooms (one night, with bathroom, one the living room with sofa bed). Giving the apartments inside there are no noise issues except the neighbors. We were allowed to leave our luggage in reception, both on arrival and at check out. NB: The kitchen is equipped with a pot for type and the corkscrew is missing.

The good news:
Very spacious rooms. Very good location and near the transport public, the apartments have of kitchen what goes perfect if not have desire of exit of dinner or going with children.
The bad:
Does not have air conditioning, if you do much heat you have to leave the windows open and hear the noise of others.

The Apartments were clean and modern my only criticism is that there was a awful banging noise which went on most of the night on the first two nights and kept myself and my three friends awake all night and the so called sofa bed was so hard it was totally impossible to sleep on it. Was not suitable for two adults maybe two little children but certainly not fully grown adults.

The only criticism: four adult persons should be four beds and not a pull-out couch! That is a maximum of two children. Otherwise there is to complain about anything.

Unfriendly staff, extremely noisy room, bad Wi-Fi, low furnishing quality and poor catering, almost 45min for a check out. Thanks god it was just clean at least and good location. In overall, definitely doesn't worth the price.

Fantastic place to stay in Berlin! Second time I've stayed here in two months and can't recommend it highly enough. Clean, big and reasonably priced.
