Quirky hotel in the hip Mitte area of Berlin. Friendly and helpful staff. Single room is smallish and no air-conditioning — a ceiling fan over a double bed. Nice courtyard cafe and an intimate roof terrace with great views over the Berlin skyline.

Awesome hotel very friendly staff and clean, nice smelling rooms. Also healthy food at restaurant downstairs and beautiful back yard. Bonus: Yoga on the roof for a very adorable price twice a week!

We stayed here for one night in early June and loved it! It has a convenient location, friendly staff, and very nice clean rooms and bathrooms. I felt that it was a steal for the price! We had no issues during this stay and loved the room. It has a tablet, a safe, and very comfortable beds! I would recommend asking for one that does not face the street is noise bothers you. I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic hotel. Really well thought out rooms, modern style with everything you could need. Spacious bathroom. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient, and coming from the UK really helpful they all spoke perfect English (sorry we couldn't reciprocate). A brilliant location, 15 mins walk from Museum Island and an underground station right at the door. Loads of good food and drink options nearby, and the hotel bar cafe was chilled and welcoming to close the night. Plus, don't miss the roof top terrace. Thoroughly recommended!

I stayed in both the Circus Hotel and the Circus Hostel. I really enjoyed them both! At the hostel I got an apartment with its own little kitchen and a fantastic rooftop view. They are in a great location for getting around Berlin — — both walking and public transportation. I went on a fantastic free walking tour that they organize each day. Book directly for the best price.

Great hotel, fantastic location! Plenty of good food nearby, plenty of bars as well. Staff was excellent, restaurant attached was phenomenal, great recommendations from everyone, can't say enough good things. I'd highly recommend this place. My only complaint is that I am a light and hot sleeper. Without AC, I needed a window open. It's a very busy street with plenty of trolleys, sirens, drunks, etc. Being on the 1st floor (2nd story), I didn't get great sleep from the noise or heat. But, that's Berlin, so I can't fault them for that. I'd stay there again.

Excellent hotel. Very good location.

Modern city style hotel located very well in the centre of the city. Lots of restaurants and bars around. Underground just around the corner. I like the design of the rooms, everything very comfortable. One single down side: No Air Conditioning. I don't need A/C, so that is not a big downside, but if you have a room towards the street and you sleep with an open window, it can become loud.

Very nice staff. Room and sanitary clean. Buffet breakfast at €5 simple and efficient service until 1pm. Home Open 24/24. Close to all points of interest. I would recommend it without hesitation.

A fantastic stay in the heart of the best area of Berlin! Amazing shops and great restaurants just outside the hotel's door. Staff are very kind and helpfull. The room was perfect, super clean with all the little things that made our stay very comfortable. No doubt — this is the best place to stay in Berlin!

We stayed here for four nights, and had a great time. The staff is extremely friendly, the rooms are comfortable, the hotel is well-appointed and central, and the cafe and bar downstairs are perfection. Thanks for the stay, we'll be back!

Excellent location. Tube station just at the doorstep. My room was quiet facing the back. I haven't tried the breakfast in the hotel. Instead I had my breakfast at the Circus Hostel just opposite. I will come back!

Great central location right by a u bahn station, staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed and really clean, just what we needed for a base to explore for a couple of nights. We had drinks in the hotel bar which were great and reasonably priced, also visit their own microbrewery downstairs at the circus hostel opposite!

Comfortable rooms with great toiletries in the bathrooms and nice beds. Incredible location, so convenient for cool restaurants, bars and shops, and all the sightseeing — so much is within walking distance, and for stuff that's further afield it's right by the station. Loads of events programmed in the hotel, too which is a lovely bonus. My only quibble is the incredibly complex breakfast system — four options, three of which include pre-purchased vouchers. Despite the restaurant/coffee shop being inside the lobby of the hotel it was really faffy to get stuff added to our room bill and the food service staff kept emphasizing how separate the organizations are — maybe make it easier for hotel guests to use?

Generally good hotel. Good location and staff. A star knocked off because of the noise in the room. When neighbouring rooms doors closed it shook the whole wall. Cleaners were in the room next door from 8am and it was loud and sustained enough to wake us up.

Great value, great location and some of the finest hotel staff I have encountered. The hotel is brilliant for all ages, spacious room and a very spacious bathroom (stocked with vegan friendly toiletries). A beautiful courtyard where you can enjoy breakfast or a quite drink in the evening.

We stayed in this hotel last summer. We absolutely loved it. Does not have A/C but each room has large fan which worked nicely. It has a courtyard in the center where you can have an afternoon drink or just sit and read. Wish we were there right now! Design is really cool too.

This is a new structure. I liked the location (great), close to several locals. The room was too small for my habits, there was no closet, no minibar, shower was very spacious.
Breakfast was a little varied, present organic products.
I expected better.

I stay at the Circus Hotel in September of 2009, with a room open to the street. Noise was not an issue and I totally fell in love with the place. My standard is now very high! The room was beautifully designed, the staff were very helpful, the breakfast was amazing. Located very close to underground station and trams.

The Circus Hotel is the cleanest, friendliest hotel we've every stayed at. We had a Junior Suite facing the court yard — everything was fantastic, great advise on sights to see. We ended each day enjoying a glass of wine while relaxing in the over stuffed chairs by floor to ceiling windows overlooking Rosenthaler Str. The U Bahn Station twenty yards from the hotel entrance made getting around town a snap.

It has stayed on 13-16 April 2010 and everything was perfect! The staff is very nice and dynamic. We had a junior suite €100 night.
The hotel is very close to the tourist centre. In short it is an excellent address.
