Parking for motorbikes and bicycles. 10 min to Bamberg by taxi has a very nice old town.

Very nice brewery tour with beer tasting and brewmaster's feast. The master brewer and father of the family business explained the history of the house and the different types of beer brewing. Unfortunately a bit remote and difficult to reach by public transport.

We were there on Whit Sunday 5 in front of two and wanted to have a bite to eat, there came the statement of service that we no longer have hot food until 5pm.
A glance into the map showed the kitchen would have been until 2pm.
That would have been feasible to offer a little something everything in all the visit was very dissatisfied.

A beautiful hotel with own brewery, good food and cosy atmosphere, unfortunately was in the Secret Annex still construction site through rooms remodeling, the rooms there were brand new and generous.

Beware of construction site! Conversion!
Double standards are being measured here. Via an agency on the internet we have already booked 2017 three double rooms for three nights for a sensational offer for April 2018.

2 star value because nice parlors and free parking. Room I. O. But "hotel" a construction site. In the evening from 21:00 pm no more food.

Old Inn furnished with great attention to detail. In the restaurant was a young team that had visibly fun at work.
We were at a meeting in the House without overnight.
Food was great. The salad buffet was a bit unloved.
Meeting room was good. Appropriate technology was available.
The service was excellent.

My first time here was a long time ago and we only stopped for a quick beer and found the place a bit snooty. The beer was great but the service didn't exactly draw us back. Went back recently for a nice birthday lunch and the food and service was incredible. Oh, and the assortment of beer was large and all well done. I'll go back again a lot more quickly next time and for lunch again, too.

I can only recommend the Brauerreigasthof. Food and service was top. Gladly again.

Very disappointed! 5, 90€ for one side order of a Kloß with Sauce? The waitress is uninterested in answering my questions as to why the Kloß is so expsensive. She shrugs/ rolls her eyes and only says "The Manager". Two Kloß and a Four 0.1l Beer Sampler for 16€?!? 17€ with tip. Then the young waitress asks if I have a 2€ coin to go with the 20€ note I wanted to pay the bill with. I gave her the 2€ coin because she had no change. I hand it to her and then she comes back and gives me in return 5€ in 20 cent pieces!?! Looked forward to this place for years and it's a shame it happened like this on my first visit. Drei Kronen please take this as creative criticism. Not acceptable.

A great place to have a beer.

I have been only eating, but the food were super tasty, staff was really nice and the restaurant is cozy, clean with nice atmosphere. The best thing however was the beer. I had a lots and lots of beer in my life (im from czech republic) but in this brewery they make probably the best beer I have ever had in my entire life. Its like they took all the bad things from their beer and leave it only with the most delicious flavours the beer can possibly have. Great experience.

I've stayed at the Drei Kronen several times over many years. Herr Straub and family, as well as team are wonderful hosts. In the last few years some very welcome updates and expansion. Always a great base for a stay in upper Franconia. Close to highway as well as in middle of small town. A must visit if you're in Bamberg area for any length of time.

As always, we very much enjoyed our time at Drei Kronen. The Straub family is focused on providing a comprehensive experience in their family-run hotel, restaurant, and brewery, and they do it all very well. The rooms are clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet is filled with fresh, locally-sourced food. The staff is attentive and cheerful. It's proximity to Bamberg and other nearby sites is perfect for enjoying busy days sightseeing then enjoying a quiet night's rest away from the sounds of the city. While we were there, a few rooms were being renovated and Herr Straub told us that a small expansion was planned to keep up with the demand. An exceptional value for the consistently high quality service. Great food, great beer, great location, and a great night's sleep… what more do you need?

Room, dinner, breakfast and beer, we were generally satisfied. Very interesting as members of the Association for the promotion of the Swabian Bierkulturwar the conversation with the senior partner. Will you tell a friend or yourself come back.

In the run-up to the accommodation request, rooms were easily replaced by us double room single room.
The Inn is very well managed, that means organizationally, there is nothing wrong. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Spezialities beer is highly recommended.
I'd like to go again.

Clean rooms and good food. The hotel's own brewery beer is tasty. The area is very quiet. There are only 6km to Bamberg.

The roving beer is always delicious. The food and service are unfortunately only below average, the prices very high.

This beer is world class. I have travelled Germany for 20 years. They have the best rauchbier and one of the best lager I have ever drunk. And the brewery tour is very very good. I recommend this as a must when visiting Bamberg or Bavaria. Tam & Gitti Pearce.

Very good Hotel, price-performance good. Again at any time. Good connections to Bamberg. Own Brewery.

Conveniently located in the Obermaintal. In front of the hotel free private parking. Welcome by the owners. You reach the room with an elevator. You are neat but something obsolete, especially the seating area with couch and armchair was safe from the sixties. TV (flat screen) was modern, sometimes difficult to receive Wi-Fi. Bathroom with shower and good heating very well, hair dryer available. Breakfast buffet with a large selection. The restaurant offers good Franconian dishes at reasonable prices. The price here is super cheap hotel owner and staff very friendly.

I was at the weekend with my girlfriend in Bamberg and the surrounding area on the road and we just happened to be in the Three crowns landed. I can the experience of the Vorschreibers fortunately do not share. Our food was super tasty and came out quickly and warm to us even though the Store is very well stocked. In one of the previous writer but right: The beer is a real insider tip. I've still a few bottles taken :-).

Yesterday I was with work colleagues because, once again a disaster. The Braumeisterplatte was cold (there was also a warming tray nothing. ) and tasteless. The Service was overwhelmed, my colleague had ever to be a cyclist to wait for the other drinks were constantly interchanged. Really delighted with was none at the table. My boss was a paper in the carp fried and the Steak to the Boss was "very well done" rather than bloody. Since the invitation was, nobody wanted at the table, an uprising, but the price-performance votes here, not at all. The only bright spot was the very good beer.
