We went here for dinner. The food was not fresh and was not inspired. I had a mushroompastry and well… That was what I got. A pastry on a plate filled with mushroom and gravy. The pastry tasted old. My boyfriend had some mashed potato on the side of his beef and they made a round ball out of it and it had kind of a weird substance. Like if he threw it on the ground it would bounce right back on his plate. There was no moist left in there. But maybe thats something normal in Germany… I don't know. Also his gravy was exactly what they had used for the filling of my mushroompastry. So short version: don't go here if you love good food. The second star we gave this restaurant is for our waitress who was very nice and tried really hard to keep up with the many tables she had to manage alone. Not for the other waitress who looked at us calling her to order, but decided to just walk on by.

Beautiful hotel in the town center with delicious and carefully selected breakfast. I especially enjoyed that the decorations and amenities were tastefully arranged and chosen with attention. From the entrance through the building and into the bedroom I felt that I was cared for and that I was important as a guest. It goes without saying that everything was clean and top quality and the staff was kind and helpful. I can recommend this to anyone: singles, couples, families, travellers.

The friendliness of the staff leaves a lot to be desired — among other things, the boss's dealings with the employees were very unpleasant to us.
We don't want to support that and will therefore choose another restaurant next time.

Was okay, nothing more! In proportion to small portions. Beer was warm but gave a new one. Price not appropriate. Rather dissatisfied! Give it a lot of better restaurant in Bamberg.

Centrally located, my room was directly above the weir, i. E. H. Without earplugs sleep not possible. Bed too hard, head cushion too small or too thick, mattress not adjustable, at colleagues the mattress was too short, wlan okay, breakfast too, but too little scrambled eggs.

A hotel in the middle of Bamberg's old town. The house is family-run. A must is a visit to Sandkerwa. Right in the middle of the action. Great entertainment program, even occasionally with deposits from the head of the house.

Delicious food. Nice place by the water.

Great location right on the river and in the middle of town. Facilities not super But OK, unfortunately a bit too expensive for that.

Totally disappointing — eating absolute disaster — not cheap — (could imagine) meat frozen, thawed and roasted, hard to eat — waitress friendly has cared but kitchen doesn't care…

Selected and fresh Franconian dishes and great fish dishes available. Friendly and courteous service in beautiful rooms in a central location open a pleasant stay.

Lovely location, just next to the much-photographed, precariously floating house on the bridge. We only stopped here for a tea, which came quickly and was served in a smart glass teapot. It was very busy but in a good way, there were plenty of staff on hand to cater. Slightly pricey but that is to be expected at a hotel in such a tourist-heavy location.

Nice clean. Room hall way light a bit annoying, weird movement sensor. Cool view!

Very nice hotel, with very good service. We felt very comfortable all round.

Some long waits, two waitresses where one of the other knows nothing, eat well.

We just drank a coffee here. The service was brisk.

너무 화가나서 적습니다… 여주인 꼴통. Female owner of Restaurant at first floor is look like racist. She is so rude. It's the most awful experience in Germany.

Location is awesome, the room is small but cozy, the pricing is higher compare with other similar hotel.

The food is OK, but relatively expensive and clear portions. A Rauchbier (0.5 liters) is 3.80 Euro on 1 Euro more expensive than directly from Schlenkerla.

This hotel has it: very romantic, super central, good cuisine, good rooms, and a price to match the location, feels, and tourist interest. If you have the money to spare, this is the place to spend it.

On the day of Pentecost, we were with a small group in Bamberg, and in the Hotel Brudermühle usual. We've invariably felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The historic house has small rooms and bathrooms, but with a lot of love for the Detail decorated very tastefully. Hygiene and cleanliness were perfect. The rooms to the river's surface offer a great view of the river and the old town hall. The Hotel is centrally located in the beautiful Bamberg's old town. Within walking distance, everything is achievable, so that the cars in the somewhat distant Parking garage could stay. Twice we have in the Hotel eaten and were with the value for money very satisfied. In the evening, invited the Hotel to sit together. We were always well served, especially by Anita — thank you for that. Conclusion: We come very gladly again and would this Hotel recommend them at any time.
