5 Star hotel all the way!

Ein herausragendes japanisch inspiriertes Wohlfühl-Konzept, mit engagierten Mitarbeitern, das fast keine Wünsche offen lässt. Die Zimmer, Restaurants, die 2 Bars und das Spa sind sauber, stilvoll und einladend. Dazu kommt natürlich die malerische Umgebung und eine frische der Luft, wobei man sagen muss, frisch ist hier alles und danach fühlt man sich auch so. Saunen, Dampfbad, Regenduschen, Ruheräume (wobei das Zedernholz Ruhezimmer besonders besticht) und Pools, das ganze Spektrum ist abgedeckt. Besonders cool: das Solebad außen (32Grad) und das kleinere Onsen (42Grad), ohne viele Menschen einfach im Warmen abschalten. 10 Grad Kaltwasser und 2 Grad Eiswasser auch vorhanden und echt erfrischend. Die Stube scheint mehr für Familien und ältere Generationen ansprechend zu sein, allerdings sollte das nicht abschrecken. Ein sehr freundlicher komptenter Kellner serviert einem hier nämlich gutbürgerliche Küche mit Geschmack und Qualität, sehr entspannte Atmosphäre. Das japanisch inspirierte Restaurant Mizu, behauptet nicht authentisch zu sein und findet aber eine perfekten Twist zwischen Regional und leckeren japanischen Speisen — Die Produkte und Gerichte sind wirklich von schöner hoher Qualität, sorgfältig zubereitet und angerichtet. Kleine Patzer im Service wurden engagiert gelöst und sehr freundlich ausgeglichen. Ein Abendessen hier sollte man auf jeden Fall ausprobieren. Tipp : Empfehlung der Sushi Meister anhören, die wissen es tatsächlich am besten.

The SPA area is really great and a real design highlight. The Family SPA is also very nice. The service at breakfast is unfortunately not appropriate for such an exclusive house. You are not asked if you want a coffee, for example. As a guest, you have to see that you can use one of the service forces as you pass by in order to be able to order more drinks. In addition, the service staff repeatedly do not get on the line to assign the drinks to the right table. The drinks are often taken to the wrong tables or walk through the room several times on the tray, while the coffee gets cold on them. The breakfast buffet, on the other hand, is very rich and leaves nothing to be desired.

Unfortunately, housekeeping also has its weaknesses. Our used cake plate actually stood in the room for 30 hours without being taken away. These may all be small things, but this should not happen in such a house. On the other hand, the friendliness of all employees except one or two exceptions at the reception is absolutely top. A real disappointment is the Kids Club. We would never give up our two-year-old son there. When you enter the Kids Club with a child — and we have that several times on different days — you are just ignored. None of the employees there ask who you are, let alone if you want to give up your child. So I spent an hour there with my son without being approached at all.

Pros: -Fantastic territory where you have many places to sit and chill. A river/stream is running thought the whole hotel territory. Awesome SPA areas (steam room, sauna, pools), very friendly staff who are ready to accommodate your every wish. Incredibly tasty food. Cons: -Bad internet connection, open/unsecured Wi-fi. In my room I couldn't even stream youtube. Not good for people with remote business needs. — The Room was very cold and damp. Had to ask for a heater (July 20'th) — Cleaning staff are too loud, they start pushing their loud cleaning carts at 08:30 and make a lot of noise cleaning rooms next to you. They forget that some people could still be resting/sleeping.

We had booked a suite because we needed a large desk as a work surface for two laptops. Unfortunately, the Internet was extremely slow and so encrypted that we couldn't go online with our utilities. We have asked for an estate, which unfortunately has not been responded to. 2x a recall was promised, but this was not. In addition, the rooms were unfortunately very cold.

Mizu Sushi Bar: Bad but arrogant service. Japanese dishes are hushed with Bavarian salad creations — you don't have to. We had ordered a table for 4 at 20:00, but arrived shortly after 19:00. When we asked politely whether it might be possible to eat now, we were told that all the tables were booked and that we would have to wait until 20:00; the restaurant was about a third occupied. Although three tables were constantly empty, the Thekentische were all unoccupied, we had to wait until 20:00. Finally, the waiter informed us that we were "certainly familiar with the concept, and that we wanted to introduce us not only to Japanese cuisine, but also to Japanese food culture. " Beverage orders were then partially forgotten, soy and wasabi were served in mini portions (perhaps sufficient for 1 person, certainly not for 4), each reorder was served again — obviously somewhat reluctantly — in mini portions. At some point, in the middle of the meal, we were asked if we wanted to have ginger — even though we hadn't even received one. The ordered appetizers arrived so erratically that the idea of "sharing" was completely ineffective, as there was often only food at the table for 2 people (and not for 4).

The facilities are beautiful, but the accommodations like the sauna, spa, etc. Are only open during business hours. If you plan on using this as a great retreat for a corporate event, you can't use 90% of what you pay for. I'm sure it would be nice for personal vacation, but not worth the money for business trips.

Great service, very tasty food. Price is high.

Short time out from the finest…
Our three days for the first time in the Bachmair Weissach we really enjoyed. We were greeted by a friendly staff who took care of the luggage and, after checking in with the equally friendly (and sympathetic) ladies at the reception, took a small tour of the hotel to our room. The junior suite to the side of the site immediately provided us with a pleasant feeling of well-being – tasteful colors of natural furnishings.
The breakfast buffet is excellent and leaves nothing to be desired with very attentive service. In the afternoon there is still a small but fine Bavarian bread.
The absolute highlight in the afternoon was the visit to the really fantastic wellness area. The Mizu Onsen spa abducted us for a few hours from Bavaria to Japan. Only the temperature in the outdoor sauna in the park was far too low for us for a refreshing dip in the Gump with the cold water of the brook flowing through the Hotel park.
Meanwhile, our Tesla was able to recharge in the garage in peace and quiet, so that we were all well-fortified after the actually far too short time the journey home.
This was definitely not our last visit to this excellent resort.

Beautiful hotel with friendly and efficient staff. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is first class, as are the three restaurants. Highly recommend a visit.

Very spacious but nice hotel. Rooms are comfortably furnished point nice bathroom with walk-in shower. Quality of food in the restaurant very good. Parking spaces available.

The Mizu Onsen Spa — almost like in Japan or even better? In any case, we could switch off and recharge energy.

Absolutely amazing place. Given the size of this hotel it has the feel of a cosy warm cottage but with all the spa facilities you would ever need be it out door jacuzzi or chilling in the sauna. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I can’t wait to go back.

… finally a hotel, for families with a dog and a desire for design, to relax and to delight in the physical well-being… the whole paired with incredibly friendly and helpful staff… you don't want to leave…

We stayed at Bachmair Weissach for a weekend to celebrate the birthday of my boyfriend and we couldn't have chosen a better place!
From daily Brotzeit (typical German cold platter) in the afternoons in their cosy lounge to the fine dining Japanese restaurant and newly opened Mizu Onsen Spa, we were blown away! Make sure to book a treatment at the spa, we had a facial and detox body massage and absolutely loved it. If you travel without kids it's nice to retreat to the 18+ spa area for some romantic relax time! Make sure to go up the Wallberg for beautiful mountain views, the hotel offers a free card which give you 50% off the ride and a free shuttle.

Very noble hotel, one was already greeted and received on the outside by an employee. While everyone in the group gradually got their room card, you have interesting information about the surroundings, the offer of the hotel, leisure activities, etc. Get. The rooms are beautifully decorated in rustic style and mostly with balconies. The outdoor swimming facilities invite you to relax, the Japanese onsen baths are super implemented.

Everything was just great (the room, the food, very nice service) except the childcare. That was a strange thing. We left our little girl (only 7 months old, but not afraid of strangers) at the Kids Club. I just said two things "please, this is his food and these are our phone numbers. If something does not go well, please call ". OK, during 5 hours I didn't get a call, I thought everything was good. When I picked up, I asked if everything was OK and if he ate, and surprisingly the following was heard: "Well, he cried a lot and ate nothing". I was surprised. Did the supervisor believe that it is more important that parents have fun, no matter how the child is? Was it so hard to call the parents? Of course, I would have picked up the child if I only knew that he felt bad and could not eat anything! So the Sylvesterpartystimmung was totally messed up by the feeling that I had fun while my child was tormented. And now I have a very bad conscience in front of my little girl.

Beautiful 5star hotel in the small suburb of Weissach, Rottach Egern. Beautiful Bavarian rustic yet elegant decor. Superb service from most staff while some felt they were too good for the jobs they were hired for. Still a nice experience and the food was top notch.

Very pleasant hotel with amazing interior design and attentive staff! The outside area with a small river racing down is especially tranquil when eating dinner or having drinks. Super impressed with the knowledgeable bar staff who threw at us any sort of drinks we asked for… The spa was closed due to some maintenance work however the reception was quick to pro-actively provide us with some discount on our next stay. Don't think I will be passing by any time soon but it was a nice touch… one you would expect from a hotel of this class. P. S. : Loved the huge marine aquarium in the bar area!

The most a-MAZE-ing hotel. You may get lost in this hotel if you wondering around, but, with the wonderful friendly staff around, you will get back your direction in no time. Rooms that come with different designs and the size of your room, it can easily accommodate a family of 12! Close to the most beautiful lake with a great ferry ride, a view of beautiful mountains and the historical houses along the lake, it will just take your breath away. It is also very close to Austria. Awesome hotel. Awesome!

Very Nice Hotel! Rooms, spa area and food are superb. Modern but traditional at the same time. Staff is really friendly and service oriented. Location is beautiful with the Tegernsee close by.

If you really want to experience what over rated really means, book younself for a night at the Bachmair. No A/C, bathrooms from the 90s, no coffee machine in the room. The biggest misconception is that you cannot order Roomservice after 11PM — not even a piece of bread could be delivered, while it was rudely refused too. If you can spend another 45min in the car on the highway A8, please do yourself the favour and check into Schlosshotel Fuschl in Hof near Salzburg. Schloss Fuschl is spg as well, is category 7 and marginally more expensive for a truly better experience in all aspects… underground parking is also for free at the Schlosshotel.

Facilities are great. Room was really confortable. Staff was awesome. Plus they gave my daughter a little teddy bear. It was an overall excellent time!

The rooms are top notch, simply gorgeous, hotel super food in the restaurants and the breakfast first class beds,!
The service and the staff are very friendly and obliging.

I visit the hotel for over 25 years with changing operators. But the House has only won since reconstruction and the takeover by the Kohler family.
Ranging from the great atmosphere and service simply excellent.
Please keep it, then it's even more fun to enjoy a break on the Tegernsee.

We were last year after Christmas for a short holiday in the Bachmair Weissach and enjoyed the stay.
The staff welcomed already on arrival very friendly us and was very before coming. The swimming pool is great and the sauna facilities ensure Erholsung. The food in the old rooms was very real.
At departure you gave with mineral water even a bottle us on the journey.

The Bachmaier hotel is a nice place to relax. Despite the more than 100 rooms, guests are treated very obliging: friendly, attentive, obliging. Even though the hotel is fully booked, you get not much of it. The guests are spread well on the broad-based system. We like to come back.
To recommend the breakfast is away from the hustle and bustle. The calm in the small breakfast room compensates for the steps to the buffet in the main room. Visitors of the Bachmaier lounge in the evening should see about the stiff appearance of the waiter over. He trying, probably but not otherwise.

Very friendly, helpful team, beautiful, spacious rooms, spacious area with many restaurants, page rooms and "Corners" to relax "at rest" or in Office. "Bavarian" device without any "plush and Alpine kitsch".
