It’s a good stop in Wallgau when we are coming from Munich and back. There are as as well other cafes around but when it’s cold, rainy and windy. It’s the best for a little pause and cafe…

Very quiet hotel with magnificent views of the Karwendel Mountains. There is a sufficient number of parking spaces in front of and next to the hotel. We were warmly welcomed by the boss, who also showed us everything. At this point you can also mention the always friendly staff, be it the waiter or maid. The room was not large but comfortably Bavarian furnished. Rooms and bathroom always clean. Sufficient storage space available. Our room has a terrace with seating. The wellness area is a dream. There is also an indoor swimming pool and a fitness room. The dinner always consisted of 4 courses (salad from the buffet, changing pre-soup, main course and dessert). With the main course you could also opt for vegetarian or a delicious cold plate. The breakfast was sufficient (cheese, sausage, honey from the warbe, jam, fruits, dip, egg, muesli and yoghurt. Bread, cakes and rolls) and of good quality. My husband was too happy, for me it could have been a little more varied. We also liked the barbecue evening. The hotel has a large garden with a trampoline and a swing for children. Value for money (also for drinks and minibar). From the hotel you can enjoy nice hikes, e. G. To the Barmsee or the Krüner Alm. We're happy to come back. Recommended only.

Very nice location and the hotel is just as beautiful, especially the sauna area top. But the room I had was not so great very tight u in the DG.

An absolute recommendation! A great family hotel with beautifully furnished rooms and good facilities (swimming pool, sauna and gym). The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The good cuisine (for half board) is also very commendable. The only thing that might be missing is, if necessary, that A bar, as there is not much on offer in the village.

Unfortunately a disappointing stay at the Alpine Hotel in Krün. We were given a room in the annexe, which was unheated and equipped with a 20-year-old bathroom. The mattress was extremely hard and in the 15 minute clock a wall clock rang in the private neighbouring apartment all night. At checkout and reception I ask if the prices in the next house would be equal to the main house. I was told that the effort in both houses was the same. I also looked at the room of my relatives in the main house, which was much more modern. Even before checking out the beds were removed and the towels removed. And this at a room price of 135 EUR per night. Really a bad service and definitely our family will no longer visit this hotel.

The hotel is beautiful against the stunning mountain backdrop, the rooms are delightful, and the staff is endlessly friendly and accommodating. So many little touches made this a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

The hotel, which has been run for generations as a family business, convinces by a very friendly service, which is facing the guests with absolutely fair and good price — performance ratio as well as good and rich food!
The rooms are tastefully decorated and renovated; There is also a swimming pool, sauna and fitness room.
The quiet and warm atmosphere makes you feel at ease!

This beautifully located hotel, close to the town centre, offers a fantastic view of Wetterstein, Karwendel and Zugspitz massif, depending on the location of the room.

I was really happy all around.
Beautiful location, good food and room service via reception, service and kitchen very friendly and attentive staff.
I would come back at any time.

We were there in January.
Not only that we had a fantastic weather, but the hotel still has an "icing" on it.
After long hikes and at freezing temperatures we were able to enjoy the sauna and the swimming pool (just let the soul dangle).
Our highlight was the Bavarian buffet on Thursday, where even chef, boss and junior chef were on the issue of the delicacies.
We were greeted with a smile at any time. For questions our (hikes/sights), family Schober has always given us super tips.
On a tip from the Junior (Martin) We even had the experience of seeing chamois in the wild. Thanks again for this:-)
