The hotel is in need of a BIG renovation, absolutely no 4 star hotel. The restaurant which belongs to the hotel needs improvement due to both food, drinks and service.

This place is amazing from the views from the rooms to how good the food is.

Always a dream to be here. Great hotel, great restaurant, beautiful beer garden and great service.

We were already several times here and the Hotel was always super, but the current stay is terribly sobering. In the case of catchment a number of defects in the room (slatted defect, wing chair broken, a rack torn, and a lot of other little things). Children's Playground is outdated, carpets worn, many of the signs of aging. One has the feeling that has been invested for years, no money. The staff speaks partially broken German and understands. Even small orders in the beer garden (ice-cream) took 5 guests for almost 25 minutes and was still wrong. Without a large-scale renovation, we would not recommend the Hotel.

Has so much potential if it were refurbished, the carpets are decaying and the shower had black mold. Also be prepared to kill a bug a day, minimum.

We had a very comfortable apartment with stunning views on the mountains. Staff was very very friendly and our kids had a fantastic time with the playground conveniently located right next to the Biergarten restaurant.

A place where you will find a traditional atmosphere beginning from the entrance passing through their restaurant menu and finishing in your room. They also have a SPA center with swimming pool and a sauna, that is only for nudists, where you can relax after long walking days. It is place to turn back!

For a family of 5, the 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay, the breakfast was fresh and plentiful and the coffee was lovely! Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. I would recommend this hotel, especially if you have a family as it has a nice garden for the children to play in, and you can walk into town for a meal (it's a bit steep on the way back though).

Das Hotel liegt zwar etwas an von Zentrum aber man kann die Buslinie fünf Minuten von Hotel kostenlos nutzen. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr sauber. Beim Frühstück hundert man für jeden Geschmack etwas lediglich die Brötchen können besser sein. Sehr schönes Schwimmbad auch für kleine Kinder. Fitness und Wellness Top. Kinderfreundliches Hotel. Jederzeit wieder!

Breakfast was TOP the view also very nice. Unfortunately, that was all. A hotel where a blind person realizes that there is an urgent need for renovation. All color bursts off, the carpet shows spots everywhere. Many areas simply designed far too dark and loveless.
No lifts to the rooms, so you have to haul the suitcase yourself up to the 3rd floor. The service in the restaurant was nice, the lady at the reception rather well.
So as long as it hasn't been completely refurbished, rather just middle-class.

Great place. Fantastic surroundings! Super spa and fitness studio 5 star! Also fantastic tennis school. Edgar euling tennis. One of the best in all Germany. Hotel is very good but needs a serious face lift! Definitely worth trying…

It was unbelievably nice place to stay at. I highly recommend it for active and passive leisure time. Especially for families with small children. The stuff is very friendly and ready to provide all the help needed. It is accessible by public transport too. Prices are more towards upper range. Spa is clean and very enjoyable. The rooms have also self cooking option.

We were in the Dorint Hotel Garmisch-Partenkirchen for the first time. We felt very comfortable. Of course, the hotel has come a little over the years. But that's what a hotel does. Who wants to live in a sterile and leaked bunker;-). And the most important; Our 3 children also felt very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the food was good. We will certainly come back. For families we can recommend this House absolutely!

Great apartments, good location at the Olympia area, breakfast OK, special requests are gladly met, super tennis courts, suitable for children if you are willing to take care of the children's employment, the finishing touches have been a few years ago.

Quite old hotel. However, equipped with everything you would want. Pool sauna, nice restaurant, Big breakfast and dinner buffet.

Very nice family hotel, very friendly service, excellent food for both breakfast and hot meal, nice bar with very good food. Clean toilets and bathing area. A star deduction due to some modernization — necessities (carpeting, decoration) and expensive parking (not from the hotel itself).

Nice hotel, family friendly. The breakfast buffet is stunning. However, in the case of maintenance, for example, worn-out floor coverings or in the spa area Verostete tile flooring or clogged exhaust fans, the spa area does not seem very inviting at all. The service staff in the gastronomy area could be a bit better trained in terms of friendliness.
A little overpriced prices if you want to eat at the hotel or have a drink. Unfortunately the parking at the hotel is very poorly solved as there are no parking spaces and you only have to park at high prices in the car park.
Otherwise nice stay if you are good on foot.

The Empangspersonal Tuschelt, does not take individual travellers seriously. Had to wait until 17Uhr to my room! Even though I was already there at 11 o'clock. That's not the way! You have to hire more staff to avoid such impossible bottlenecks and to "hinder the guest"! … Food and room good.

We had a great apartment, block directly to the Olympic hill. The food was excellent, the staff helpful, accommodating and always very friendly. A great hotel, the rooms were very clean, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Ordered room for my family in oct 2016 for the period 27 dec to 03 Jan 2018. The Hotel insured us that they would book tickets for the Ski jump competition 01 Jan. That was the main reason We booked a Hotel in Garmisch. The final arrangements were done in oct 2017. Guess what! They totally forgot about it. The whole family were so dissapointed. You cannot run a Hotel this way. I would choose another Hotel if I were you.

It's a nice cozy hotel. Nothing fancy, very old, but lots of space!

We were a guest for three days at a retreat meeting.
Very large apartments. Than clean.
Rustic furnishings The paths in the basement are probably not so suitable for the handicapped.
Some jobs may need to be refreshed soon.
The food was great. Something for everyone.

A * * * * hotel is definitely no more. And a lot of things went wrong: — no bathrobes for the swimming pool and sauna. On the penultimate day we got some… — The double bed consisted of 2 parts and therefore always slipped apart — room service did not fill up the handkerchiefs in the bathroom and also not the qtips and cotton pads — breakfast buffet is great, however Missing salmon.

Super Hotel complex. Located right next to the hill. Breakfast is plentiful and offers a wide selection of bread, cheese, cereal, fruit and sweet.

Worst hotel worst service from 14 days at 12 hotels in Germany! Tried to check in at 3:30. Nope! Checking only at 4:30pm. Leave bags in the lobby. Parking? Temporary only. After checking in, remark underground. Parking spots are 7' wide, so be prepared to climb out the back of the car! Checked in, had requested a " view" room as I booked it 3 months in advance. Was given a basement room 2 buildings away looking at grass across from train tracks. Called receptionist. Told her the dilemma. She said she would call back in 2 minutes. 15 minutes later, I called again. It rang and rang. Finally she answered. They were laughing in the background. They said, tell him we are busy checking in. After putting me on hold, she came back to inform me it would be $50 euros to upgrade my room. I told her $186 per nite was already too much, and no thanks! So, do NOT even consider booking to his hotel! You will regret it! Larry E rm 122

We found this hotel by accident and very glad that we did. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had fantastic mountain views. The hotel had a wonderful restaurant, a pool, spa, fitness center, and a bier garten where guests could just hang out and relax. The location, slightly away from the center of town, was also wonderful. Outside the hotel property, were many hiking trails leading up to the mountains or to the town. Overall, great hotel experience.

Long check in process, plus that reception staff are rude. On my next trip to garmisch I will try other apartments or better hotel.

This is a great hotel with nice views and comfortable rooms. The room I stayed in is starting to show it's age a bit, but a nice place.

Great hotel with large rooms. Half-pension was a phenomenal deal. My family and I loved the Bavarian breakfast offerings. Bottom line is that we'll be back.

In half board buffet average and not specified when booking it's pretty amazing seen it. Room rates in half board we expect much better

Having known the dorint about ten years ago it is a pity that this hotel is as much changed before it was well worth its 4 stars more now!
Hotel that needs renovation it has a bad age
We went several 5 years ago affiliate in the years 2005, the This will be the last time as we made other hotel much cheaper and much better. When you pay a certain amount we estimate that the parking and carafe of water are understood it is very petty to charge this especially without notifying the customer (for water carafes)

LOVE, love, love this Hotel. The view is outstanding and you're so close to all the tourist attractions, such as the Zugspitze, etc. The breakfast is also amazing, they have a huge selection and the coffee is delicious! I would definitely recommend it.

The rooms are big and beautiful. Outside is all a bit old. The food is excellent. And the service is satisfactory.

Good Hotel, very good gym, great swimming pool and Sauna, and the standard. The location is in comparison to the other Hotels to be beneficial. Also the Parking is very convenient (7€/day is ok). Only the traffic on the main road in the village is not so nice. Gyro oderZebrastreifen there are not. Otherwise everything ok.

Lovely rooms, great beer-garden with decent prices, massive breakfasts, and service that, on the whole, was lovely (including delivery of a big birthday cake to my partner, completely unbidden). A fifteen minute walk into town, mind you: be aware. Two English channels on the telly: CNN and AlJazeera English. Cleverly constructed and family friendly. Impressed.
