We were today for family lunch, 8 adults and 2 children. I can give a feedback for the restaurant only. Nice atmosphere, simple and elegant decoration with accent on details. The table was decorated with fresh flowers and some nice toys and cuttlery for children. We ordered diferent dishes and then, our trip through the high gastronomic pleasure began… quality of ingredients must be the best, because you could discern the taste of every single vegetable, not overcooked but crispy. Nobody used salt or pepper, because it was perfectly balanced. You don´t even need the knifes to cut your meat, because it was soft like a butter, baked absolutely at the point not to be raw and not overdone. Mix salad plates consists of different vegetables, with different dressings. At the end, we opt for the plate of dessert variety with 6 different sweets, all very tasty. The portions are big enough for very hungry guests, but even if you are not hungry, I am sure you will eat it all. Very good and professional service, not too long waiting time and at the end, it is neither cheap nor expencive, you get what you pay for. The gastronomic experience that worth every cent. I can recommend it and deffinitely come again!

Well-kept gastronomy and beautiful ambience characterize this house. Very suitable also for family celebrations with smaller children. Always friendly service and relatively fast performance of the kitchen even at full house stands out positively.

The estate is realy nice and the qulity and verity of the food was great.

My husband and I were dining in the hotel restaurant in the evening. The food was really excellent and quite fine in terms of price. The service also very friendly. We were kindly allowed to redeem the two free drinks in the restaurant because of smoking in the bar. The ambience is very well maintained. The room was also very clean, the bathroom in excellent condition and the bed comfortable. Very recommendable.

The hotel bullocks in Merklingen is a nice seminar hotel. Nice spacious rooms, a great restaurant and a pleasant bar. In the restaurant we ate in the evening really delicious an innovative and varied cuisine; Really great. Afterwards we drank a few drinks in the bar; And you were actually allowed to smoke in the bar. Almost a rarity.
Also the breakfast on the other morning was good and varied. Can only recommend the ox.

I was now only at a Communion party for dinner there, but I must say the staff was very friendly and attentive, and the different dishes were delicious and served together (despite two wedding ceremonies taking place in parallel). As far as I have experienced, a fairly positive house.

Food, service, ambiance — everything is perfect!
We had announced a Saturday night with 12 people 15 min before (! ). When we arrived, the nicely prepared table was already waiting for us. The service was exceptionally friendly and accommodating all evening, the food came quickly and was excellent — not to be topped in this category!
We will definitely come back.

The restaurant is unique.
The portions are large, the meat is roasted to the point and the service is outstanding.

Hotel rooms are comparable with budget rooms. Has got good Meeting/Seminar room to accommodate 20 to 30 people. They also have a cosy Bar. Overall, it has an average ambiance. I will recommend only for staying at night during long drive or team meetings away from stuttgart City.

Super romantic wedding of my cousin was celebrated here, I could complain about absolutely nothing and there were about 150Gäste loaded, hotel room served the purpose a few hours to sleep in it, for that was the price & the performance okay, not top modern but clean:-)

Our restaurant reservation was confused so we had to wait some time, but were offered free drinks and dessert as compensation. The food was great.

It is very neat and chique, offering a good restaurant as well as comfortable and spacious breds. It is located in Merkelingen, which is a charming hamlet in Beiern, Germany. The location is fine if you're looking to spend your vacation very peacefully and quietly, but it isn't if you're planning to do some sightseeing. Their service is very average; they do their job, but not extraordinarily good or bad.
