Mega delicious food! Traditional cuisine meets modern interpretations!

Traditional style gasthaus, good simple food, excellent beer and spotlessly clean rooms, ideal place to stay for a day or two.

Very nice family-owned countryside hotel, just lovely. Good Location for many outdoor activities, good for children, too. Very friendly.

We have been coming here at different Intervals for about 30 Years. We appreciate the family Atmosphere and the friendly Interaction with the second Generation of Owners. The Rooms are very nicely equipped and there is nothing missing that makes the Stay pleasant. The excellent Cuisine of Heiko does not only remain at a high Level, the annual Increase does not surprise us due to Creativity and Skill. My Parents blessed, my Wife and I, our Son with Wife and Children, we always like to come back and that probably has its Reason.

Very tasty homemade cakes and wonderful milk coffee had. Friendly and fast operation, always happy again.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Kurz. The host, the room, the view, to the food… everything was phenomenal! Definitely going to visit again!

This inn is a very cozy little hotel run by a very nice family. We felt comfortable from the first day.
Our room was cozy furnished, and remarkably clean. Although the décor was not up to date, but well maintained. Of mattresses or so no trace.
Breakfast is as usual with buns, cereal, coffee/tea/cocoa and orange juice. We especially liked the homemade jams and the honey from our own beekeeping. Even in the case of butter etc, no small packages were found with table trash, everything was done cleanly. The dining room is particularly cosy and there is a lot of loving decoration. Only the coffee crema from a fully automatic machine couldn't convince me that I had celebrated a hand made coffee as a barista or otherwise preferred a filter coffee.
The dinner in the half board is very tasty. It contains an alternating starter, salad from the buffet, three main dishes to choose from which one is vegetarian, and a dessert. We especially liked that the kitchen also takes care of unusual allergies.
The price for the half board is very reasonable. The overnight stay is a little more expensive, but it contains the high Black Forest card. Here you will find everything you could wish for from a vacationer: In the summer holiday of local transport, swimming pools, ships on the lakes, cable cars, museums, a roller coaster down the mountain, indoor parks for bad weather and much more. In winter it even serves as a ski pass.

Great place, feels like home. Great food and great hosts. Can't ask for more for a peaceful getaway.

Friendly and helpful hosts, good local food and spacious rooms. The ski lifts are a 5min drive away, there is also a bus stop 300m from the gasthaus. Only downside for me was that the pillows are a bit soft.

As an accommodation for a three-day road round, we had the guest house Just selected. Rooms were o. K. Clean and our claims enough. The Breakfast buffet was very good, the evening kitchen as well. On the last day we checked out, turned then, one more round. By prior arrangement we showered then went in the sauna area. (own towels, EN Suite, shower gel) Then a Bite to eat, some drinks, all the best. The last bill: food, drinks + 5, 00 € per Person for showers! (disappointing, not at all, certainly not a second time)

Unfortunately, not family-friendly, kitchen Top Service Flop. If you are not exactly to ordered a card it will be charged extra for B instead of salad vegetables costs 0, 50 €. It also happens that if staff has no desire, no drinks anymore. We came to us not as guests. And as you can see, it was not just us so. Hospitality is different.

We were with colleagues 2x in the Landgasthaus Kurz eat. The food was fine but the Service will be completely overwhelmed and unfriendly. Constantly, we were snapped at when we wanted to order. The highlight was to finish off the Boss, you want us to be a cleaning bill because the children of the seat with a pen when you Play something verkrizelt. The tone makes the music, and friendly communication is not their strength. Never again.

Child-friendliness, there are only somewhere else.

We have the Landgasthaus chosen for the excellent location, very close to the Feldberg mountain. In addition, it was the owner's family is very fond of animals and it was no Problem for our old dog to bring with. The supply was good and the rooms clean and spacious. Parking spaces were there — actually, everything you could m holiday wishes. The owner of the Villa Briefly are very friendly.

Know the house is already long, nice and friendly, good food and a beautiful location.

We spent five nights at the Landgasthaus Kurz in December 2012, between Christmas and New Year. The rooms are lovely, very clean and everyday when we came back from skiing we found small chocolates on the bed, what was a nice welcome. The food at the restaurant is very good, although they don't have so many options (what is actually sign of quality). Breakfasts were rich, we needed only small snacks for lunch. The personal is very kind, maybe a bit reserved and serious at the beginning, but more open after getting to know you better. A good surprise included in the room price was the Hochchwarzwald-Karte, which grants you free pass at the public transport and free ski pass (! ) in the whole region for guests who stay more than two nights.

Were taken by surprise despite some poor rating in the Internet's most pleasant. It was a great room, super food, and really, really love guest house owner. Can recommend it only with best conscience.
