Today we decided to join Nicolai and his team to eat. Everything was perfectly 😍, every single course was at its finest, our waiter Daniel very very attentive and competent, the restaurant is very tastefully decorated. Just the coordination of the dishes the right mixture of sharpness acidity, sweetness the ingredients. Absolutely justified awards. Greeting Meik.

Dear Eckert team, we slept in your hotel yesterday and ate sensationally well in the restaurant. But the communication in the rooms annoyed me quite a bit: this is sexist, tasteless and I dare not imagine what view you have of your service staff. That is not possible!

The delivery service is great. Time, taste, temperature and price… Everything really recommended. We become repeat offenders.

Have just used the delivery service from Eckert. Are thrilled ssseehhhrrr. Super tasty food, fresh and just a treat. We will order again. We are really happy that it makes the curfew a bit more pleasant in the evening.

You wanna have a wonderful dining experience? Go there! Super nice staff and the best thing it’s a hotel and restaurant… so you can just roll your happy belly in one of the beautiful rooms and listen to a funny record… (there is a player next to your bed ❤️). Super close to Basel… so next time I wanna stay at least a whole weekend…

Eckert restaurant has the youngest Michelin Star Chef… We are impressed with fascinating combinations of different cousines. Asian. Mediterrenian. Lavender bread with Asian souce mixed butter.
Delicate with an array of tastes in each of the very creative disches… Excellent.

Excellent cuisine with surprising aromas and consistency. A great service in a pleasant ambience. The food is worth every penny. If you want to treat yourself to something special, this is the right address.

Good hotel with very friendly staff. Initially had a very small room with only a pillow, but could easily change to a larger room without any problems. This is what service should look like!
A point deduction only for the then unfortunately larger, but not air-conditioned room.

Highly recommended, the young band does an excellent Job to Nicolai Wiedmer conjure in the kitchen. The wine list is also well stocked! Like to come back here.

Modern rooms with ample space. Very nice fitness room. The lack of air conditioning could be problematic in the summer months. Close to public transit into Basel.

I've been coming to the "Eckert" every time it's a nice experience … Room top … Breakfast delicious. Staff incredibly friendly etc. Will stay again and again at the Hotel Eckert.

The accompanying hotel is also recommended.

The hotel and restaurant are excellent. The rooms are modern in combination with nostalgia. The record player with some good records must not be missing: Of that. The restaurant is as unusual as it is good and has only recently received its first Michelin star. However, offers an exceptionally good price-performance ratio. All in all, an insanely good experience, rounded off by the reserved destination — charger for the electric car. Top!

First I was speechless before being invaded by respect.
Everything is realized without fail in this restaurant. The tasting menu and its wine agreement will make you spend a moment of unforgettable gastronomic discoveries. The products, the culinary techniques, the dishes, the explanations of the servers or the chef, the homemade bread… all for a reasonable price when we know the work that requires, I say Bravo!
The setting is sober, very typical and modern at the same time.

Very nice Hotel with super Restaurant.

I asked for a room in the highest floor before comming here but they gave me something in the ground floor. The toillet was really dirty and used. It is not acceptable! I took a shower and everywhere is wet. There is an beetle in the washroom! And when I asked them to come and remove that they were not sorry at all!

Fantastic place not only because of rooms and stylish finishes. The best part is their crew — very open, nice, helpful, English speaking. Fantastic meals and great people in Eckert. I recommend to everybody who needs a calm and nice place to stay. :)
