Unfortunately, we did not have any posotive experiences during our 2 day stay and were very disappointed with this hotel, in my opinion the Hotel Leo should call itself at most a motel.
The only thing I have to highlight positively is breakfast, which leaves absolutely nothing to be desired (only for that the 2nd star), otherwise my list of things that I have noticed negatively is unfortunately much longer:
— Staff very annoying, unkempt and disrespectful (meant to have to make jokes at the guest's expense all the time) wasn't funny and you barely understood him.
— there is no safe, no phone and no minibar in the room
-no air conditioning (was very uncomfortably warm at night)
-very cheaply held furniture
— the pillows are so uncomfortable we found almost no sleep at all
-on the ceiling above the bed is mold
-at night it is very loud, as if a disco is nearby
— it's not very clean (siff on the wall behind the sideboard and behind the kitchenette; if you can call it that. Dirty flushing cabinet, dirty ventilation in the bathroom
-ancient hair dryer with fan at the back, women with long hair will certainly know why the crap is.
I wouldn't book dinner either, because this is what you get via a voucher for 3 restaurants nearby to choose from and the hotel deserves to choose from it without doing anything for it and only passes on part of the paid 18 euros to the restaurant (I find that's a cheekiness Because you don't get any information about it), accordingly "cheap" is also the choice you get from the restaurant for the voucher … Prefer to reserve a table without a voucher at the restaurant since Giovanni, the food was excellent.
For me personally it was also very disappointing that I wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary there with my husband and therefore had booked a romantic decoration at an additional cost. I had checked by phone just under a week before arrival to see if everything was clear and also the decoration was confirmed to me again. Unfortunately, nix was with decoration when we arrived and it could no longer be redecorated, as the employee did not even know where the decorative stuff is, I got a bottle of sparkling wine as an excuse … I was reimbursed for the 20 euros on departure and the boss apologized again for it, but nevertheless we were very disappointed.
All in all, we will not visit this hotel again.
