Small but fine hotel, the room was very clean, check-in hassle and friendly staff.

Meanwhile totally overpriced, predominantly incompetent service and almost inedible eating. With the old chef, the food was really delicious and appetizing, now it sometimes looks like it's eaten nicely. I definitely advise against a visit!

Friendly, but fairly noisy location since the only room left was right in the main street.

Very noisy Single Room just above the Beer Garden. Therefore, either windows too and sweat or do not sleep until half two. Furniture All pretty done. At Breakfast only the first Hot Drink for free. Central and cheap.

Beautiful after renovation. Very pleasant stay in the outdoor areas. As always, operations are very friendly. Not a long wait. Cappuccino, cake, ice cream great. Guest Wi-Fi available. Coming here gladly.

Good hotel, wonderful breakfast and very tasty beer in the evening. Comfortable rooms. From the minuses of the room window overlooked the backyard and the zoo, unbearably buzzed the transformer and yelled flamingos, especially early in the morning.

After zoo briefly returned for a small snack. Drinks such as cola and Fanta were diluted and without carbon dioxide. The ordered cyclist also tasted scarf. The fries for our two children could not convince, also little taste and too short fried. All in all not recommended.

The suite under the roof was very good. The first night I had a room with bad air (smokers? ) where the service did not clean properly and fie towels forgot.

Nice place to stay exactly opposite the railway station. Top floor apartments recommended which are two-storey attic style rooms and enough space to sleep 4 to 6 people. Great for family stay.

Beautiful hotel or Apartment! What disturbs is the perpetual parking search, the reception on TV which unfortunately is not a smart TV to enjoy Netflix and Co Hu can. Otherwise Super Hotel!

We were there as a family (2 adults/3 children) for an extended weekend due to a family celebration. For us a great, spacious apartment with small kitchen was reserved. Simply a wonderful stay. Everything uncomplicated and nothing to complain about. Great breakfast buffet, delicious food and very nice staff. We would like to come back and would like to thank everyone. We felt very comfortable :-)

Nice staff, good breakfast. Unfortunately with single rooms (single bed, very small bathroom) which do not conform to today's standard.

Behind the station, at the front of the zoo. Nice people, in the room coffee and tea. Everything I and need.

Food was delicious…
Porterhouse steak ordered with French fries. Was very tender and tasty flavored. Vegetables were still doing what was nice bite. Service was friendly and afloat.
Can definitely recommend the pub to anyone. We also come back…!

Positive: + Super location + clean room + tea as a welcome gift negative: — chaotic check-in * — Heating did not work (in October) — ventilation in the bathroom did not work — WLAN was very unreliable (connection was constantly interrupted) * check-in: I wanted to Check in late evening so was sent with a code for the Keybox. When I arrived, my code entered and took the key of the opening door, I met a lady (as it turned out the receptionist, which was as such but not recognizable), who found that this was the wrong code/key. She exchanged him for another, went in with me and checked me in. Everything was unproblematic, but unprofessional and somewhat confusing.
Was okay, but on the next trip to Karlsruhe I would like to try another hotel.

Good place everything is nearby like railway station, city center is 1.5km.

One full week at the Loewe Tiergarten hotel. It was a great experience. We occupied one of the huge rooms on the top floor (actually an apartment with kitchen) and although there were works at the ground floor, we were never disturbed! The location is great too: right in front of the most quite banhof of Germany and with the wonderful gardens of the zoo, full of colours and waters. The reception manager Alexandra was an angel, really all one can dream of as to help, advise and flexibility. If you add the warmest days of the German Summer, really our stay will remain sculpted in our memory. And we do want to come back to try the new restaurant. Thank you all Paolo and Sven.

Nice place to stay, very clean and very close to train stations, public transport and city center. Poor Wi-Fi connection and the entrance should be renewed since quite old. Lovely staff.

Actually, even no star has earned this restaurant! come from Bocholt wanted to drink because just a coffee with a friend I wanted to visit here, came after 6 hours journey by train here shortly before I arrived here is that my legs were swollen to mega, I noticed I have to say that I diabetes militus type 1 have for 15 years. I wanted to soften the water from the legs I wanted to put my feet up on a different Chair! I've done that and not 2 seconds later came the branch

He and I tried to explain but it was nothing no in the against the part head thought he would be with his occur properly on it and would rather something like there have I never in the live seen as cold man can be and you can be as bold I would prefer to call the police!

The review refers to the Cafe. Price is acceptable, however, both were pie slices are very dry and taste not just the racers. Is positive, the Servierin this to the pastry chef wanted to pass on.

Never again! After a zoo visit, we are in this Restaurant landed and were disappointed. The staff was not in spite of a full Restaurant overwhelmed and unfriendly, forgot time of a drink. My dish was advertised with a "Buttergemüse", which is not in the approach was to be seen. The worst was the reaction of the operation on my complaint;. "you know the card is not". This Hotel gets from me full of stars. I think it is perfect for a Trip to Karlsruhe. The location is ideal, the rooms nicely furnished and the staff courteous. Oh, and the Buffet is top. What more could you want? If I again come to Karlsruhe, I am checking in again.

Is already my second stay. The first impression has been confirmed: Chic Hotel in a pleasant and Central location. Very good Service. Beautiful Rooms. Wi-Fi access for free. Good Breakfast. Always happy.

Perfect for a weekend getaway for two! My girlfriend and I are always happy to visit for a weekend in DT on the go and have a look at various towns and cities. We have been to many 3 star Hotels have seen, and often the "Stress" had (bad Service, dirty rooms, bad food, etc…), but we were very satisfied — especially for a weekend trip, on which you do not even want to annoy! The Hotel am Tiergarten Karlsruhe meets to do its purpose: the location is super Central (directly at the Karlsruhe zoo, close to the city centre and directly on the HBFs), friendly and attentive Service, clean (bath) rooms (recently even renovated according to the staff), and a simple but totally adequate Breakfast (optional Extras, like everywhere else also). Conclusion: price-performance is absolutely true in the category! Thank you and see you soon :)

The food was not good. The court has the Rahmgemüse missing. In demand, it was said, that would be the onions and herbs in the sauce. I would no longer eat there go.

We have over booking book. Com for 5 people and 1 for 2 people with extra bed in a room. And we thought, eat dinner in the restaurant of the hotel as the hotel has a restaurant at your site mentioned. But when we arrived at 20:00 there was no one in the hotel. We had to get the key in a non-smoking bar. NO room for 5, but 3 rooms for 2 persons with 1 additional bed only. We could get an extra room. But the restaurant was closed. So we had a 15-minute walk with 3 children, the nearest restaurant. After breakfast at last there was someone to check out. First instruct they tried us more when we had 4 rooms used in place of 2, but the other Dutch guest had already made a big problem with its payment due to problems after the arrival, she decided that I could pay what I booked. The hotel does not offer 5-bed room at all! We were very happy with our choice. We were very happy to go as soon as we had finished our breakfast. Never this hotel.

Since we still have an hour on the train had to wait, we wanted to just eat some ice cream to go. So in the outdoor space, and taken to the operation maintained. The operation seemed a bit annoyed and absent. As after about 30 minutes our ice still was not there, and I went to look, it turned out, the Thekenpersonal completely was overwhelmed with his duties. 2 of 3 ice were already finished, almost to himself, the third was still in the making. What the Hotel 3 stars, is not known to me. The room is completely outdated, 70's charm, half heruntergerissene curtains at night, not darken it. Directly underneath a "beer bar", and in the evening the drunken people rumlungern. No Blinds. Rooms tiny and totally overheated. On the wall of the mold. The bathroom was apparently after the Vorbewohner not cleaned. Hair on the floor. Toilet apparently unpolished. Barely even toilet paper. Shower at the edge of rust anywhere. The mattress sags — something I know only of the armed forces. After almost durchwachter night (light, noise, heat) and back pain from the "bed" in the Morning, a Breakfast with Aufbackbrötchen, Tütensaft and obviously not fresh sausage. Never again! What the staff is concerned, I can only confirm what others already wrote — rude, slow — guest is apparently perceived as trouble-makers.

The cheese noodles were really bad. It was a very small Portion of noodles in a cream/Käsepampe the obvious in the oven, or similar heated. There were, however, too long in there and the top is already very brown. Many declared additives and the taste probably suggest, to the fact that only the warm up itself is made. Service also very bad ; slow, unfriendly, and with the wrong account. Parts of our group have their food until much later, because the oven is supposedly no longer can. Other guests (after the us) have their food sooner.

Restaurant/Cafe verkehrsgünstig gelegen. Qualität der Speisen eher unter Durchschnitt. Salat war ok, Käsespätzle eher schlecht, für die Qualität eher zu teuer. Bedienung etwas unaufmerksam, eher langsame Bewirtung.

Wanted to take my girlfriend with a Sweet surprise and I am exceptionally here gone since it's on my Route was (I usually go to a pastry shop corner Yorkstrasse/Sophienstrasse). The Service at the bar was not just courteous, but on a holiday, at 18 o'clock I can still understand. But the Sweet treats (1 black 2, 90€ and 1 chocolate cheese cake 1, 50€) were geschmachklich very disappointing, to put it so to paraphrase.
