Hotel and restaurant in the centre of Hügelsheim
Hotel: Something old old charm, tight lift to the 2nd floor. The garden side rooms have a continuous balcony, so you can pay a visit to your neighbour. No air conditioning. The proximity to the airport can be heard during takeoffs and landings, but there was little flight operation at night. One is also very close to the Rhine meadows, which can be seen by a nightly visit to small vampires. While there is a large mosquito display, the toughest ones come through:-)
What bothered me was installing the toilet in my room. It is installed so unfavourably that the paper holder almost protrudes over the seat and so close to the wall that the use is very uncomfortable. The whole thing would not be necessary, the bathroom is sufficiently large that the toilet could be installed 10, 15 cm further away from the wall.
The breakfast performance is neat, a good selection, during the week bread and rolls are fresh from the baker, on Sunday, backware was resorted. I was disturbed by a clearly perceptible emamused smell in the cold sausage. Something like that no longer belongs on the buffet.
The restaurant offers solid Baden cuisine with the inclusion of regional and seasonal products, which is a commendable approach.
All the salads I tasted were of excellent quality and provided with carefully prepared dressings.

At first glance it is a quiet and nice place.

Fine bourgeois cuisine at slightly inflated Prices. Unfortunately, the lively Transit Traffic Is not to be ignored even in the Garden Area. If you like that, you better care indoors. Pretty Covered with Rooms of different Sizes. More Competent in very friendly Service. Food of the best Quality.

Room booking was changed, staff could also be friendly just before closing time. Prices a little high.
Otherwise clean and quiet with free wireless internet and parking.

Simply Disastrous! Drinks 20 min. Used until they were served (the Restaurant was almost empty), salads were placed on the table, although this has been previously opted-out of the waiter with the words: "Now the cook has made the salads already, is to eat your girlfriend this stop! " Wiener Schnitzel has only tasted of Lard, the sauce after the milk seasoned with pepper. The best is that we have become in spite of the high price once tired of it. To absolutely do not recommend this Inn!

The hotel room has its best times behind it. Swimming pool and sauna available. Cleanliness is poor. Has never had such a small single room. Maximum 12 square meters. Just laughable. Window to the kitchen. Accordingly smells and sounds.

Service very friendly. The food was good but nothing extraordinary. The restaurant is very dark.

Very clean hotel and good service.
I am always at an event in this hotel and look forward to this weekend again every year.
The mood of the guests in the hotel is simply the hammer. Here the fun and laughter is not too short. Looking forward to next year.

A great, very cozy country inn with excellent cuisine and rustic hut in the open air. We feel very comfortable in this country inn.

We stopped in here after our flight into Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden airport. On our cold wintry night I must say our warm welcome and cosy greeting made me think we should have just booked a room for the night. My husband had the schnitzel and he said he thought it was the BEST he had in Germany, ever!

Very good reception. Nice room for cons lack of storage in the bathroom. Good location Quality Restaurant.

Nicely located and stylishly furnished. Breakfast was OK but also nothing special. The staff were very kind. Prices are fine. Service is fast and friendly.

Best asparagus I ever had! This is high quality dining in a rustic atmosphere. Hosts are lovely. Also good for private parties, back room can be rented.

Serving mixed pickles at the prices and the intended level is cheeky and not to mention the Crevette salad that wasn't served by any but small shrimps.

The service did not respond to Mengel at all or pamphlets.
Completely fails and only recommended if you like to eat overpriced food to poor quality.

We visited this hotel several times the past years. This is a wonderfull hotel! Well taken care and clean rooms. Always a very welcoming reception on arrival. Furthermore they are running a very good restaurant in which we feel very much at home. Recommend!

Warm, clean room, the breakfast is fantastic and the restaurant in the evening does some fantastic meals.

The room was nice and clean. Good food. The room was very clean. But one unpleasant moment, I forgot the charger from the phone when I came back and said that the location charger was gone. Although I'm 100% sure that the charger left on the Tumbachke near the bed.

A pleasure at its finest food like every year from tradition, asparagus.

I spent 2 nights at the hotel. The room was clean and equipped with the bare essentials. What is not from my point of view: there was no door, only a passageway between the control room and the bathroom. As a single user that was now less important to me if I had there been together with partner. No. Go.
The food is tasty, staff attentive and Nice, ambience to rustika — cluttered for my taste. Every man for himself must decide whether the but high price is justified.

Zimmer waren sehr ordentlich, freundliches personal und ausreichendes Frühstücksbuffet. Rundum zufrieden.
