We stayed 13 nights at this hotel. Super nice staff, very accommodating and also an extra request is accepted very nicely.
The two young bosses are also really open to any criticism and accept it gratefully.
The waitresses in the restaurant are really great. So nice and friendly you are rarely served. The working atmosphere in the house is (what we can judge) really great, this is of course also noticeable in the staff. You never have to wait long for something and yet they always have a short time for a little chat.
Our dog also felt very comfortable and was welcome.
The hotel is well located and you have great opportunities to go hiking or walking. After a hike you can relax in the wellness area.
We will definitely come back.

We were in the associated house Schwarzenbach in a holiday apartment.
Both the apartment and the hotel were great.
The ambience totally beautiful. Staff accommodating and very friendly.
Everything was clean and well prepared.
We will be back, it is already reserved.

We spent a wonderful 4 days there.
Even the welcome was great.
Rooms great, large and clean
Breakfast outside on the terrace. Great coffee and a variety of tea.
Omelette, pancakes, fresh fruit…
Every wish has been fulfilled.
We will definitely be back!

Sehr offenherziger Empfang mit einem Willkommensgetränk. Zimmer in einem 1A-Zustand, welches einen sehr wohligen Aufenthalt garantiert und in unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich tolle Wanderrouten und andere Ausflugsziele. Auch die Verpflegung ist von Frühstücksbuffet über Mittagsbuffet bis hin zum Abendessen makellos und verspricht für jeglichen Geschmack ein kulinarisches Erlebnis, wie man es zuvor selten erlebt habt. Insgesamt kann ich diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen und habe nicht einen einzigen Negativpunkt. Beim nächsten Schwarzwaldurlaub ist dieses Hotel wieder meine erste Wahl.

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful part of Germany. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The included HTG card meant most of the summer activities and free. They also have good free charging for EVs. Would highly recommend.

Nice getaway, nice big room, great breakfast and good service. We like to come back and stay a little longer.

The beautiful furnishings and the very nice and hard-working staff make you feel at home. The food here is great and the choice of salad buffet is very varied. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. There are many ways to sit down and either look at the beautiful lobby or enjoy the great view of the Black Forest. The wellness area is equipped with nice relaxation possibilities and the swimming pool is also very nice. The hotel is very well located. We will come back.

4 stars because it's not quite alpenland sporthotel, consider it a mini version without a member of the shmack family.

Wonderfully situated in nature, a strong piece of the Black Forest with excellent, innovative home cuisine (the chef himself stands at the stove).
I'm looking forward to the return.

We were here for a short break and were very satisfied with the stay except for a few little things. Very nice cozy rooms in the public area as the room. Very pleasant wellness area with bath, sauna and various rest facilities, including water beds. Friendly staff and good food. Something disturbed us the price of €3.20 for 1/2 liters of tap water. Also we find the wine prices rather high, pity there are no 3/8 bottles. The WLAN works in rush hour when most guests in the house are only conditioned. We can recommend the house with a good conscience.

A very nice hotel with a good spa and spa area. The food is excellent and plentiful.
Lunch snack and afternoon coffee with cakes until 16:00 dinner consists of: appetizer Soup of your choice (accordingly. Offer) Salad Buffet, main course (selection of 6 offers), Dessert (selection of 4 offers).
Cheese Buffet (plentiful and wide selection).
The staff is very friendly.
Overall picture: All in all recommended.

Great to spend a romantic weekend for two! Great food and small but fine sauna area.

We were on the spot for three days.
Hotel is very nice, breakfast is delicious and extensive. What is also positive is that each room in the restaurant has its own table for the whole stay.
In the entrance area there are many seating options and a great atmosphere.
The room facilities are very nice and even have underfloor heating. The only drawback is that the beds were not so comfortable and the mattress slipped apart.
The spa is the most pleasant, however one should have dates for massage etc. Make it early. Is booked out very quickly.
The staff is super friendly and accommodating, very helpful and dedicated. We were greeted with a welcome drink and were also able to get the room earlier.
For you cars there is enough parking space and even the covered parking area is free of charge.
We recommend the hotel further and would return any time.

The hotel is really very nice, well located and comfortable. BUT the communication is very difficult with the staff, if you don't speak German. Nearly nobody speaks English (even French), and this makes the reception, meals, beverages, and special requests, very difficult, see impossible. A shame, because in an institution of this standing, this is the least what one would expect.

Top hotel very nice staff great rooms everywhere very clean excellent food and drinks or wines as well as spirits.
Service in the restaurant is super attentive as well as the establishment spa also very clean staff friendly 1 star deduction there from me, because no bathrobe was to be found in my size, the sauna time from 12:00 to 20:00 is too short, since you can gera around 8 p. M. De finished eating and that I first had to call someone who turned on the sauna at 12.20pm for another 25 minutes I had to wait until it was heated up and then someone had to be found again, turning on the light.
Unfortunately quite loud meeting with the staff in the spa about remodeling, while guests sought peace and quiet there.
Unfortunately, no swimwear sale or rental.
Coming back.

We were at the Hotel Schlehdorn for the first time, but certainly not the last time.
From the reception to the restaurant, breakfast buffet was all perfect.
The wellness area is very spacious and modern. Unfortunately, it has only 2 showers in the sauna area and the sauna landscape does not open until 12 noon, too bad.
The entire staff as well as the owners love their profession, you can clearly see this and it is good to feel such a good atmosphere.

So normally I'm not the type who writes any reviews all the time, but at this hotel I really like to do it, because I've been there for the 12th time and I'm always thrilled. I look forward to staying there every time. This hotel leaves absolutely nothing to be desired. It is perfect for family gatherings, for a girls ' wave weekend, for sports enthusiasts and for anyone who appreciates a nice ambience, very good food and very nice staff. You immediately notice that this family cares about your guests and their stay. Unlike in many other hotels, reinvesting and modernizing is also being reinvested and modernized here. Every penny is worth it, because you walk with a smile on your face and completely relaxed.

Really amazing family-run hotel! Service is wonderful and the location itself is really recommendable. If you visit Feldberg-Area, you need to book at Schlehdorn, definitely!

Good cuisine, balanced breakfast, very good bread and delicious cakes/desserts.

Super spa, offers and a nice, friendly atmosphere. Price performance is right here! One of the very few hotels that offer apartments in the hotel, so we will always come back. :-) The cottan-style apartments look rustic yet modern. A great plus is the Black Forest Card, which allows you to discount two nights or more, or use lots of great offers in the area for free!

We spent 5Tage at the hotel Blackthorn and were totally delighted. The reception was cordial and we were very well cared for by the friendly staff. The room was cozy and very clean. The breakfast buffet does not have any wishes open. Our dog also felt very. The location was ideal for many nice excursions. It will certainly not be the last time we have visited this beautiful hotel. It was a lucky hit.

The whole hotel is a delight. A beautiful decor inside and outside, a spacious and very nice room, a very warm welcome. The restaurant at the hotel offers excellent local and regional cuisine, the service is great.
From 3 nights we have a card, valid throughout the stay, which gives free access to several attractions of the region.
I fell completely under the charm of this hotel, I will definitely come back!

Well located to Feldberg and local convenience stores. Good balance created of Schwarzwald typical wooden style hotel with a very clean contemporary look and wellness facilities with excellent food and menus. Great breakfast. Friendly & helpful staff.

Have degree spent 1 week there, we know the Hotel already for over 20 years and have witnessed some changes. It is like a home… courtesy and customer service in the first place, the rooms are very spacious and very cozy, yet modern furnishings. The Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired, a very rich Buffet is offered, who finds here nothing, is not going to help. Also the dinner is very tasty and there are lots of choices, always regional and seasonal products and also for vegetarians there's a menu to choose from. For Wellness Fans, there are also many opportunities to relax, have a wide range of massages, scrubs, etc, as well as various saunas and a swimming pool. The Hotel is also dog friendly, and the 4-legged friends are welcome guests! All in all, the Hotel blackthorn is easy to use, there is simply nothing to complain about and we will spend many holidays there!

Lovely hotel, on the edge of the lake with wonderful views in the morning. Breakfast was wholesome and plentiful (the same as most hotels in the Black Forest) staff are pleasant and speak good English and the rooms are well sized and comfortable. We stayed in late September and spent most of our time walking and cycling as there are more trails than you can shake a stick at. A bonus of staying was the hoch Schwarzwald card whaling gave us loads of freebies including a free e bike for the day. Advise : go to the feldburg ski resort, and the nature centre where they have all the hoch Schwarzwald waking and cycling leaflets. Also download the app.

We stayed in the hotel for the second time. (the first time was in February 2016) It is a wonderful hotel with a very helpful staff. The spa is amazing! The rooms are cosy and stylish. I highly recommend this hotel.
