This charming chateau features rustic rooms with high ceilings and traditional French furnishings. It offers a picturesque location in Ouches, just 8 km from Roanne. Each room and suite at d’Origny combines a rustic style and French charm and some have original wooden beams. Luxury bathrobes and slippers are standard facilities in all rooms. Breakfast is served every morning by the fireplace in the guest house’s dining room. Guests can relax in the lounge with a book before enjoying an evening meal in a communal setting. Free internet access is provided in all of the rooms and private parking is also free on site. The guest house can easily be accessed from the A72, which is a 30-minute drive away. A helipad can be found on site.

Perfect! An unplanned two-day stay turned into a week. A fantastic adventure! I recommend.
The Chateau is very beautiful and has been tastefully decorated with antiques and quirky pieces of furniture. The owner of the Chateau was charming and showed us to our suite which was stunning. Having had a glass of champagne in our stunning suite we then went to dinner where the food degustation with a wine pairing exceeded all expectations. It was delicious! And the waiter who looked after our table was very knowledgeable on the wine. I found out the next morning that it had just been awarded a Michelin Star … well deserved. Breakfast was included in our stay and was just what we wanted after the dinner the night before. Fresh croissants, pain au chocolate, fresh orange juice, homemade preserves and fresh fruit salad with yoghurt. We left planning out next visit to Chateau d'Originy. This time with our 2 dogs as it is also dog friendly — we can't wait!
