➜ Splendid villa overlooking the Gulf of Saint Tropez, with garden and private parking, 10 minutes walk from the center of the beautiful village of Sainte-Maxime, but already in the local reception has assaulted us with a very strong smell of mold, to take your breath away, and Unfortunately the same smell was invading the bedroom where both the curtains and the bed with the headboard in cloth are soaked with stink. In the bathroom not even the shadow of a roll holder, and the toilet paper resting on the flush in the balance is certainly not a nice look; In the shower then not even a shelf where you can rest the vial of soap, and the shower without ups and downs, therefore not adjustable in height. The exterior of the room, which looked out over the lawn, had a table with two chairs, one different from the other and a third chair totally rusty; To shade the room a horrible plastic shed straight from Rusty supports too. The breakfast paid €8, prepared in a room with a beautiful view but cluttered with tarlati furniture, masks Venetian type hung on applique that nothing had to do, assorted ornaments badly. But apart from the furnishings on the table there were briochine of the discount, a bottle of fruit juice also of poor quality, a fruit salad packed in the plastic like that of the company Cafetettes.

The Matinengo hotel in Sainte-Maxime is very well located. The sea view is beautiful, it overlooks Saint-Tropez.
The reception is excellent and warm. The staff is very friendly, available and attentive.
The room is large: TV, table, large wardrobe, mini bar. The bedding is very comfortable. Spacious bathroom with hairdryer. Balcony with a view of incredible beauty.
I liked the Venetian and tropezien style decoration very much. The garden and the flowers are very beautiful. The building is beautiful and looks like a Palace.
Parking is free. The beach is opposite, just cross the pedestrian walkway. Petrol station and restaurants next door.
Walk by the seaside to advise.
Close to Saint-Tropez (about 15 minutes depending on traffic), from the Casino de Sainte-Maxime.
