We spent 5 nights at the Chalet Viso in August 2016 (as a couple). Everything was really perfect : the room pleasant, the perfect place (we did not know the Queyras and it is superb), meals (hearty, family, home-made and delicious), the meetings, the advice and discussions with Jean! The hospitality at the chalet was top notch, to prepare for our arrival, the room, to help us choose our routes, and our activities (paragliding, cycling etc John knows many of the service providers)!
