Place of excellence in Marseille, delicious, generous and warm!

No regard for customers. While the restaurant had to close due to work, they didn't even have the courtesy to notify customers who had booked.
it is certainly not a behavior worthy of a restaurant of this type.

Slow service and not at all up to the reputation of the restaurant. We are warned the day before Mother's Day that the flagship dish namely bouillabaisse will not be served… The proposed menu is reduced, the portions are so small that we had to buy sandwiches on the way out. All at a far too high price! The health crisis has a good back …

Delicious dishes (bouillabaisse, fish etc…), beautiful presentation of dishes, excellent wine, and to top it all off, adorable and caring waiters. I recommend for a festive meal!

We went to Le Rhul to eat the Bouillabaisse, we had an OK experience. The bouillabaisse was good, but maybe we expected more, it wasn´t outstanding, we had a couple more in other places that were a lot cheaper and better, but the view that you get from Le Rhul is amazing. Service was OK, location really good but difficult to get on public transport.

I really liked my stay here. So quaint and French, gotta live it. Very nice and helpful staff. Super easy to get everywhere on the bus. No need to try and park a car in Marseille. Would go back any minute!

Excellent stew with excellent value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff. A good Sprirz also! Only downside: no parking… Complicated to find a place to park.

The restaurant of the hotel makes a very good Bouillabaisse, a little pricey all the same, I recommend. :)

The place is very touristic, expensive, soup is tasty, service is kind, the view is chic. Not pleased fish from soup, dry, bony, inedible perfectly.

Good restaurant. Bualbes from the president of the Bualbesa Association. But the waiter seems to have deceived us. First said that 1 order Bualbesa it for four, and as a result took 2 orders, although there were only 2 people. Specify the conditions!

Hotel very well located, offering beautiful views clear on the sea, however the access is a little complicated and poorly indicated between the entrance of the hotel and the restaurant, coming from the street you have to climb steps to access the restaurant and still climb To find the right path between the right or the left for the entrance of the hotel which is not at all indicated.
The rooms ' privilege ' in our case are very spacious with a nice terrace overlooking the sea from the top of the cornice offering a majestic panorama, the bathroom is really spacious by cons the bathtub is a little bit, the rooms as well as the Rest deserves to be restored to the taste of the day, the hotel being old the decorations have not really changed and it is really ageing, moreover the air conditioning (reversible) is very noisy at night which can be annoying quickly…
Do not hesitate in the evening to go to the restaurant of the hotel which is very famous for its famous stew which would be one of the best in Marseille. I validate that it is delicious!
However in the morning, prefer to go for an outdoor breakfast if the weather is ready because the breakfast room is very small and the breakfast all that is more basic for a fairly high sum €9 does not really justify its price.

Hotel with an old-fashioned charm. 3 very beautiful rooms with their terrace on the sea. Location allows you to get close to the creeks and close to Marseille. The only downside is the reception of the restaurant's patron to the tourists. Note The good stew that meets the charter;)

The room we had booked does not correspond to what is described on the net.
There was no parking if not a few places on the roadside that were taken.
Staff not pleasant.
The heater is not working properly.
Hair dryer does not work.
Very average bedding.
The view of the sea was very limited, (any small window) while we had booked sea view.
The price is high for this modest service…

Room 11 (Double use single sea view with private terrace). Dined at the restaurant only took the Bouillabasse. Breakfast €9 Nothing that (yogurt Danone, mini brioche without soul, considering the French context, tea Twinings, orange juice ready) in a sterile environment, with matron not suited to the role. My room was clean and spacious and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom could be cleaner but acceptable for a 3 star. Sea view deserves. Unfortunately terrace right on big busy road curve. At the reception sympathetic receptionist who spoke very good Italian. Very kind. Paid parking very tight, no sense when there is place in the front yard: they are both open. Nice restaurant staff. Bouillabaisse Good (but I have no terms of comparison at the moment) although Cara (€51) and with a lot of garlic. At the restaurant I don't think I would. In the hotel, not central, but convenient for parking, maybe I would go back, although Dear Sea view (€128)

Disastrous Service! Inhumane limit behaviour of the person responsible vis-à-vis the clientele. Very haughty. Benefit overall not live up to our expectations. Passive Personnel. In summary go your way and optimize your calendar as well as your expenses in places far more competent!

Very beautiful view on the sea. Bouillabaisse a bit more than correct, but without more, for the price. BUT the patron (or a simple employee? — this would be reassuring in a certain way), obnoxious, and ill mannered. We do not take part, with contempt, one of the guests of a client fairly regular (just leave € 500 on the table after an unfortunate malaise in the toilet, (no connection with the restaurant kitchen (a priori). Reproaching them for not having proposed to pick up all his vomit, and behave underneath it all, not to let it even express, to refuse his apology … After the person has obviously done what it could with its own resources. It is simply unacceptable in an establishment that claims to be of such a level, and practice such prices… if you don't know put themselves at the total service of the client, for the better and sometimes unfortunately for the worse, Madame, change your job!

Great stay at the hotel Le Rhul really good, a good time a home sing of super quality and in Marseille it is increasingly rare. A room "La 21" with a superb view over the cornice and the bridge of the counterfeit currency.
The room was very clean There's nothing missing for the trigger.
Restore it as for it offers the best stew of the city, without hesitation between friends or family you can go there with your eyes closed.
A perfect service for a perfect experience.

Very good food and exceptional view from the room or the terrace in rooftop.
The stew is excellent, served in a traditional way with the fish carved in front of you. You will be adorned with a magnificent apron/bavoir with the effigy of the restaurant to avoid getting dirty.

Great! The view is beautiful and the service of a very high quality! The food is good and the seasonings/cooking are controlled. A real plus for the service: competent and smiling, the top. As a bonus, cut fish in the room! A real good address!

Proper Marseillaise bouillabaise. Service was attentive, and the views were beautiful. Definitely recommend if you want real south of France sea food.

We paid a little extra for a sea view. It wascwell worth it. The staff are wonderful and the room was lovely. Le Rhul has a bus stop right outside so easy travel to centre city. Well recommend it.

Excellent but pricey bouillabaisse. The view in the evening is absolutely breathtaking!

The location was very good.

A. English was sometimes not enough to communicate with them. b. Breakfast was OK with 9 euro price, if you think any food in the restaurant in Marseilles not cheap at all. c. Room was clean, size was enough and hard key is in use. (not card one) d. View was fantastic, it is very beautiful to see in sunrise and sunset. It is cool to enjoy morning there. e. On the way to center alongside to coastal side is recommended as well. f. The restaurant in the same building is pretty popular in Marseilles with reasonable price (I tried but it was all booked in Winter time)

I had heard so many good things on the the hotel I was very happy to send my nephew so that he can do an internship for the BTS.

We found heaven during our Christmas holiday at Marseille, and it was at Le Rhul. It was a well worth experience, spending over three decadent hours in this homely ambiance. The service was impeccable, the staff devoted their fullest attention and were extremely warm and friendly. We had the most amazing view of the French Riviera from our table. And more importantly, the food! Words cannot express the sumptuous lunch we've had there (we still have a dreamy look on our faces when we recall their food) : the bouillabasse was perfect, with fresh seafood and not having an overly fishy taste like the ones we've had at other places. We were completely stuffed despite having it shared between the three of us! We also had the lobster and seafood gratin, I loved the lobster though my friends found the gratin too salty for their tastebuds. The desserts came in the cutest trolley cart, and they were all so pretty, we were compelled to have at least one of them despite feeling like a whale. It was a very difficult choice, but after much bickering (the waiter was a darling, he waited patiently and to much of his amusement), we finally went for a slice of while chocolate cheesecake. White chocolate plus cheese, need I say more.

Great place for the Parisian that I am: the sea view, breakfast on the flooded with Sun terrace, and below, a great restaurant with a boullabaisse appreciated of Marseille. Watch out for those who are afraid of a bit of noise (but not so much eventually but I'm not particularly sensitive) in contrabs of the hotel, the Corniche, enough circulating of day, little night (3 nights). Affordable price.

Recommended by a trusted friend 5 years ago, I spent a Christmas week there with my boyfriend. We were accommodated in the nicest corner suite with a postcard view of the Corniche. The hotel was perfect: small, quiet, classic, clean with a great restaurant and great morning coffee. It was the most charming and unforgettable experience to be had. Not the mention the location. I loved it and I am returning there again in the very near future.

Very good place! Excellent food! Try soupe de poisson or bouillabaisse. Obviously if you have just checked in around Le Vieux Port and eager to try the local food, you might go places in that area. When you wake up the next morning, get a bike and cycle… take La Corniche, in 15 min you will get into a built up area again. Find the first velo station and leave the bike there. Then walk for 5-10 min and you should reach Le Rhul (don’t forget to check the map before you set off). Once you have tried food at La Rhul, you will find the food head and shoulders above what you ate the last night at Le Vieux Port. You will definitely think of coming back again! At least I did and come back there more than 5 times.
