Lovely budget hotel in JLP. Super friendly owners, they however do not speak much English. I would definitely stay here again.

I wanted a quiet place to return to after days at a conference. The help does not speak English. As far as I can tell the owners are the only two employees. The amenities list is not accurate. The parking costs… €8/day but free for a bicycle that I rented one block away. No bar, no pets and stairs everywhere. I like the no pets, no bar and I don't mind stairs. I am confident that the building was built in the 1800's or earlier. Some neighboring buildings are probably only 49 years old. These are twice as tall as the hotel. The train station is two blocks North on the end of the street. The station has many streets coming together so watching for Fabre is important. Two blocks the other way is where the night life is. I am confident my lack of French has an effect.
