A perfect destination for rest and golf… I recommend the whole scoly.

The accommodation is perfect the cottages are very well equipped. At the height of what you expect when you arrive. A golf course of very good quality and very technical. Physical prep essential if you do the 18 holes on foot.

Course well maintained on a beautiful site, holes varied in order to privilege the placement of the ball. The cottages, well spread over the area are comfortable and well equipped

Is surrounded by trees with a pool next door. There is a great golf course and there are tennis courts and a wonderful restaurant and children’s play area! There is masses to do in the local area if you like the great outdoors and food and wine! What’s not to like?!

We love this place. A lovely restaurant, with a a simple but quality menu, with friendly service. We also love the pool, which is clean and well maintained.

We have loved our visits to the Souillac Golf & Country Club. The restaurant has great food and the neighbors are very friendly! Centrally located for holiday goers to all the great sites in the Dordogne Valley.

Lovely situation with small hamlets in an oak forest and a difficult golf course in really good condition.

Every dining experience has been a great menu! The kitchen team is creative and brings fresh local products to every part of the menu!

The shop is well stocked, the swimming pool, tennis courts, and cottages that are very comfortable.

We have just become lodge owners (la Vallee) but we have been holidaying here for 15 years. It’s our second home and we love it. The club itself offers high quality wonderfully spacious accommodation and great amenities. Swimming, tennis, playground and of course the beautiful golf course. The restaurant is relaxed and casual and a great venue for meeting other people and enjoying a glass on the terrace or a lunch or evening meal. In terms of the surrounding area, there are numerous beautiful villages to visit, markets to explore and a whole host of fabulous restaurants to sample. You can walk, cycle, kayak, run, ride or just lie by the pool but whatever you choose, families of all ages can’t fail to enjoy this fabulous place.

Very nice. In the middle of nature. Ideal location to visit the Périgord and Quercy. Well-appointed cottages. Golf all in relief. Only downside: telecom coverage: white area for mobile phones and very slow internet access.

Very nice golf. To be done in a cart. Otherwise in top form because the terrain is very rough. Lots of fun to play on this course.

Perfect cottage, very well equipped, very large. Very friendly and accommodating staff from every point of view. Pools are very nice and well maintained. Atmosphere of calm and relaxation. Only the restaurant disappointed us, very nice setting but food not up to scratch.

Golf very nice and very difficult. You have to be physically ready or take a cart. Several beautiful holes.

Golf short but why would we have to hit the driver at every hole to have fun at golf? No hole is the same, each one is a real challenge. Excellent maintenance. Bunker the only weak point.

I love the golfl of Souillac and the view is breathtaking on some of the holes, the people are friendly. I recommend this place.

Like others that have posted I am biased — but we did come here for 10 years on holidays before finally biting the bullet and buying a lodge. If you like peace, tranquility, rolling countryside and great food and wine it is hard to beat. You can be entirely self catering, or eat at the clubhouse for a treat. In addition to the points already well made by others, note the cycling here is fantastic, so good that various well known cycle tour operators now use Soulliac town as …a base. For roadies the tarmac is smooth and there are some great routes, as long as you enjoy climbing as the terrain is rolling, for mountain bikers it is a renowned area (check out Cashbikes in Souillac, VTT specialists), for families you can tootle around the club campus, or ride the voie verte (flat, tarmac, converted railway line from Cazoules). In addition to cycling, there are some great run routes and if any energy remains, in summer there is canoeing on the Dordogne. However in August it’s so hot you will probably just want to lie in the sun unless you are an early riser and get out before it’s too hot! On the practical side there are various airports within 2 hours drive, but you will need a car as the resort is 10k north of Souillac town in the hills.

Splendid setting in the forest. Clean, quiet, upscale clientele. Attention the laptops only go to the reception…

Course played in November. Impeccable fairways in the middle of the forest. Physical and ruthless journey: the slightest mistake is paid cash. A good time golf and a good welcome in a cosy club house.

Always lovely to stop here on the way to Souillac. Food is very good and well presented. Staff very welcoming too.

Just returned from a great week's holiday here. We stayed in a 4 bedroom chalet, with 3 generations of the family and it suited us all.
Plenty to do with great swimming pools, driving range, tennis and the golf.
Lovely clubhouse ideal for just a drink or for an evening meal.
This was our second visit and we'd love to return again.

I have been going to Souillac for years, it used to be good, now it is silent, it is in a beautiful setting but run by clowns. A circus in heaven.

The location is spectacular and the cabins are very nice. The restaurant is good but not great — too much frozen food for example which is unusual in France. It was very hot when we visited and the cabins do not have air conditioning which is their only drawback. They would be perfect in weather below 30 degrees C. Overall I would recommend this place for families, it is lovely.

Stayed there this summer and found it a fantastic place for families as well as those looking for a golf holiday. The Lodges were of an exceptional standard, the staff were helpful and polite communicating in English as well as French The restaurant gave excellent meals at very competitive prices and overall this was one of the best holidays we have enjoyed as a family.

I love and soon it will be even better (excellent)
