Normandy Landing Beaches Hotels

When we recently visited Normandy beaches on an Odysseys Unlimited Tour, we stayed at the charming, historic Manoir de Mathan.

My two adult sons and I had a Suite and Jr. Suites and loved them. They're beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable with pastoral views of the back of the property. I felt like royalty.

Super kind and friendly owners. Room was very clean with all equipment you need. The food was delicious and there is a lot to pick from for breakfast.

This little hotel is the best! Comfy beds, clean and recently renovated.
We enjoyed happy hour, dinner and breakfast, We chose to stay at the hotel rather than venture out into the little town.

This was our first time staying at Camping Yelloh! Village Portland although not our first time with Camping Yelloh! Village.
As always the site was immaculately clean and well tended.

We were staying in a three bed house in the end of October-beginning of November, 2 adults and 2 kids 1 and 5. Beautiful grounds, the house is kitted well and everything is working.

We were on bikes and just popped in for a beer. The service was very friendly and although we didn't eat, the food we saw looked excellent.

This was an overnight stop between Brittany and Dieppe for the ferry to Newhaven. Wanted a location near the British D-Day memorial and by the sea, with a restaurant that had a good reputation.

The hotel is elegant and homey at the same time. The indoor and outdoor public spaces are beautiful and comfortable, the bar beautifully stocked, and the service personal and efficient.

​We booked our stay at Les Villas d’Arromanches last-minute, and it turned out to be the perfect highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless.

Amazing atmosphere to dine, right next to the beach ⛱️ The service was excellent. Food was okay. The oysters 🦪 were the highlight! We had Fish & Chips and Pokebowl with salmon and shrimp.

We had a good experience a good time here. My beef steak was really excellent. It was pink in the center as I have ordered.

Fantastic hotel.
Ideal location just 5 mins off the historic Gold beach.
Plenty of shops, restaurants etc around the hotel.
Our room was to the side of the hotel, and was different and really nice.

Location, easy to find and just a few minutes walk from centre of Arromanches and the sea. Private, off road parking.

My brother and I had a wonderful stay for four nights with Caroline at Le Clos Saint Jean.
The B&B is in a very good location as we attended the D-Day (6-6-25) celebration on Omaha Beach.

We were so fortunate to book a room with Caroline during our trip to the Normandy beaches in April! The location is perfect as a home base for this area, although a car was very helpful.

Nice small B&B in scenic village just off of Juno Beach. Room was very comfortable and Isabella was a very helpful & accommodating host. Hope to stay there again in the future.

We were staying here for 6 nights and everything was really nice. We got a little gift on the arrival and the kids got a treat when we left.

Magnificent campsite, welcome worthy of a large hotel. We enjoyed our stay, calm and serenity in very high quality accommodation.

Breakfast was great. The hostess was extremely accommodating, and the check-in process was well coordinated.

Very clean farmhouse located right in the country side. Great when you want peace and quiet. Rooms are big and clean.
Every morning we had a delicious breakfast-all locale products.

Really great little hotel. We stayed in the family room which was really two separate rooms connected together. Super friendly welcome and truly superb dinner in the restaurant.

The hotel has a great location right at the beach. It is quiet, clean, and comfortable. The employees are kind and friendly. Breakfast is not included in the price, but can be booked extra.

Staff are very friendly, rooms are a little basic, but have what you need, ideal location for visiting the D day beaches.

We stayed in Pierre&Vacances in Courseulles-sur-Mer, it was fine.

This is such a nice B&B located centrally to the Omaha Beach region. The people who run it are refreshingly nice. The rooms are spotless and the breakfast is delicious.

This was Our 2nd Stay at this fabulous Guesthouse and we already Hope to visit again.

We liked everything about La Malposte. The garden was a wonderful surprise with a stream running through and idyllic places to sit in the peace and quiet.

Very Comfortable, clean, friendly owners. Good position for local restaurants, which are also good.

My parents and I absolutely loved staying at this beautiful charming hotel. The hosts were really friendly and accommodating.

Holiday center with an excellent balance price/quality, especially with children. It's located on shore, with a swimming pool and an excellent service of restoration.

Lovely ambience, great food. Mussels were delish. Lovely to sit and watch the seafront. Merci, c'était un resto excellent.

Superb studio, very well appointed. The interior is to die for. Comfortable bedding. The interior is all wood and still smells new.

Ate here twice on our hol. 1st dinner was meal of the holiday for me. Exquisite oysters and excellent wines.
Ate in a lovely glass fronted area facing the beach.

We had an overall positive experience of the Ferme de la Ranconnieres.
The service was exceptional and saved what was otherwise a disastrous day.

We stayed over Easter and had a great stay. The hotel is really well located for visiting the D-Day landing sites. It’s also very close to Bayeux.
The staff were very helpful and welcoming.

Amazing place in a very beautiful location, the owner was so nice and cute and the breakfast was excellent with French cheeses, fresh juice and good coffee!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Rodolphe and Laurence were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they took care of us so wonderfully from beginning to end. Their hospitality was truly exceptional.

Laurence and Rodolphe are amazing hosts.
Such a beautiful home with large bedrooms and comfortable beds.
Breakfasts were very nice with the fragrance of fresh baked tartes each morning.
