I loved my pasta carbonara, but my salad lettuce was disgusting. I had to bite off the good part. When I got close to the bottom, the lettuce was the yellow inner pale leaves, but to make it worse they were mostly brown. When the waitress came to give us a check, I showed it to her and how much I could not eat saying I want this off my bill. My husband, not one to make a fuss, said no let it go. She didn’t apologize or acknowledge what I was saying and showing her. I could eat the cherry tomatoes after taking the stems off. The view was fabulous, and my husband enjoyed his fish and chips. I was polite the entire time.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but had lunch there two times. Very good food and such friendly and nice waiters. The restaurant is situated so you will have a wonderful view over the beach, the tide and the remains of Mulberry Harbor. Lovely place.

Restaurant: A very pleasant dinner on the terrace. As a dish; a delicious tuna carpaccio and two balls of Ice cream for dessert. A very good meal for a reasonable price. The service is very friendly and efficient. The menu of dishes is wide with great diversity.

A fish restaurant on the quayside and when you order the classic seafood of moules, you are eager to taste the delicacy and then the waiter comes back and tella you they have none, I then order the rissotto with a fillet of fish… again looking forward to that but when it comes the rissotto was likely a watery cous cous and the fish was bland. Wouldnt rush back there.

A delight not to be missed. Mussels with cream and fries. The seafood plate. Hard to imagine going wrong.

We were very well received in this superb restaurant facing the sea. Enjoy this magnificent panorama while tasting dishes of impeccable freshness, happiness… The sea bream and its asparagus cooked just to the point. The parting with the good cream of Normandy so creamy. A real treat for the taste buds. Very good address.

Great location for hiking places landings and battles, to be a 3 star at these prices we are not there. Toilet with water leak in continuous, very dated bathroom with only the necessary and dirty, burnt light, convectors with rust and dirty, upholstery with stains we say that cleanliness is not a merit, I recommend the Sea View room, the only positive and very Appreciated is the bed very comfortable.
Basically it's nice outside but inside… is 1 star.

Home fast, aperitif super speed… the dish already!

We were 5 and had lunch on the terrace on May 11th, good reception, good service and very good table; We each took a different dish and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Am not sure what everyone else complained about, but this place is five stars with us from start to finish in relation to their restaurant. AMAZING fresh seafood, fresh vegetables prepared to perfection. Merci.

Difficult to judge the quality of the dishes when you are denied access! Arrived with a baby at 5pm for a snack, the server says that there is no more room because a group is expected for the evening and that the tables are already erected. Yet several tables are available, beside others where are sitting customers come, like us, take a snack… But without a baby… To avoid with family so…

Cannot surpass if you want to view history from your windows. Superb location.

Very good restaurant, best view of Arromanche Beach, very fast service and waiters take time for guests. The quality of the dishes is at the rendezvous. A few things to improve: homemade bread would be a plus, a tablecloth instead of a paper, wine at the right temperature. It is best to book to have a good place with the best view of the beach.

For the restaurant — it's true, it's a bit expensive, but the dishes are sought after and perfectly executed, the establishment is nice, and the view of the sea: beautiful!

The hotel and the whole area has a great story… the only detail is that you do not speak Spanish in the hotel, despite the fact that there is a sign that they speak 4 languages and one of them Spanish.

Not very special and quite expensive. But I guess all the bar arpund this place are quite expensive.

I have stayed there several times and every time fish and seafood dishes of very good quality. The staff is nice and the view of the sea makes it an ideal setting for relaxation. It is advisable to book especially if you want a table along the glazed bay to enjoy the sea.

Great location right on the beach with beautiful views. Our cosy corner room had two windows and a very compact split bathroom. The restaurant is good, with a good variety on offer. Front desk staff was friendly. The hotel only has a few of its own parking spots tucked in behind but parking in the municipal lot out front is free overnight and daytime parking is free along the city streets.

We had a great time at this hotel. The hotel is modern and clean with a great breakfast. The restaurant is great but pricey. The hotel has the best beach access you can ask for, which made taking the little ones very easy. Staff was very friendly and spoke English. Definitely would recommend!

A site with a lot of charm, beautiful views. The rooms very comfortable and modern.

Everything was perfect except the decoration. Friendly and efficient staff, reasonable prices, great view, excellent food. They can be proud to have established a real restaurant there whereas in such a great location (history / view) one usually finds pancakes or kebabs. I warmly recommend this place!

We actually had to physically get up and leave to be noticed. Really frustrating that an evening can be spoiled by such a lack of attention at the end, even more frustrating as we're also hotel residents.

Had ordered a "turbot", fish was nice sauce too, but asparagues were overkooked. Also portions were very small. Feels like a tourist trap. Servant didn't respond when trying to complain.

Decent if pricy lunch in this tourist hotspot. Lovely view over the bay, with the D-day caissons clearly visible at low tide.

Hotel: double room on the 3rd floor in a very narrow, no possibility to accommodate wheelchairs. Bathroom also clean. Unpleasant smells in the bathroom, the room and the bathroom. No lounge to rest or relax. Very little parking possibilities (4 places).
However comfortable bed and very friendly staff.

Very friendly staff, always smiling, it's really nice. Perfect sea view. Very good restaurant and menus cheap. Rooms a bit small but for 95 Euros no problem.

We stayed on the ocean side — right on the west ocean side corner — 3rd floor. Spectacular! 180 ocean view — the sound of the ocean was nice to fall asleep to. My son and I stayed 3/31/10-4/2/10. Great room! we spent about $150 per night-two twin beds. Coming here was a dream come true for me. To travel to France — drink wine — and enjoy Sole Meuniere. Worth every Penny — or should I say Euro.
