Maison Mûrier

Maison Murier is the most idylic and beautiful place to be with perfect hosts Phil and Kev. The scenery is wonderful and the atmosphere they have created is perfect for chilling out, recharging your batteries and just enjoying being. The food was delicious and much of the produce made by Phil and Kev from Maison Murier’s garden and Kev’s cocktails were second to none.
This truly is a magical place which cannot fail to make you feel good thanks to Phil & Kev.

Even arriving late at night, in darkness, the villa was stunning — fairy lights on the trees were so pretty — but it was the next day that we were really able to take in the fantastic location, and all that the house has to offer. It really is a special place, and Phill and Kev could not have been better hosts. The food they prepared was fresh, vibrant and delicious. As for the cocktails…!
Everything inside and out the house has been carefully curated and put together, much of it restored or upcycled by Phill and Kev personally, giving a real sense of character to the place.

Maison Murier is in a fantastic location with stunning views and writhing short driving distance of lots of interesting towns and markets.
My room was beautifully designed: bed was super-comfortable, the shower was powerull and everything was spotless.
Phil and Kev took such good care of us. Nothing was too much trouble. They were the perfect hosts: cooking us delicious meals with the freshest of ingredients straight from their garden and their cocktails were to die for too! Their natural warmth and hospitality shone through and we felt at home very quickly.
Highly recommended for a relaxing break with very comfortable surroundings, superb food and a very relaxed vibe!

5 amazing nights. 5 star service, ambience, room, views and places to sit and chill! Hosts were truly awesome, including providing tips for restaurants and things to do and see. We would highly recommend staying here and we will be returning again!

We had the most wonderful, relaxing holiday at Maison Murier. From the moment we arrived we were spoilt! Phil and Kev are amazing hosts — attending to every detail in a very friendly relaxed manner. We could not have asked for anything more.
It is a very special place and they are very special hosts.

This June was our 4th visit as a group of friends. As soon as we drive through the gates of Maison Murier we feel at home and so relaxed. Phill and Kev are the most amazing hosts. They think of absolutely everything ……. They even set the satnav of the car to where we want to go, they book restaurants, they deliver ice creams and water melon to us on the sunbeds and the list just goes on and on. The pool and decking area is stunning. Eating beautifully cooked meals, drinking superb wines on the terrace with the stunning view is just amazing. We never want to leave.

As a group of close friends, we feel so blessed to have shared a wonderful experience visiting this beautiful house. From start to finish Kev and Phil have been such helpful hosts who anticipated our every need, even down to bringing watermelon and ice cream mid afternoon to us by the pool.
They suggested fabulous activities for our group before we arrived, helping us to plan our itinerary which was printed out and placed in each room. A very thoughtful touch.
Not only do Phil and Kev open up their amazing house to share with others but they also embrace their guests into their lives, as if part of their family.
Sharing their gastronomic delights on the terrace with stunning views over the valley, washed down with gorgeous wine was a particular highlight for us all.
The attention to detail on everything made it feel like 5 star luxury from start to finish and we can’t thank them enough for making it such a special trip for us all to celebrate a special birthday.

What a brilliant place to stay and explore this beautiful region of France. The hospitality was exceptional and the location great to visit local vineyards, olive oil farms or just to relax by the pool. No hesitation in recommending.

I cannot recommend Maison Murier highly enough.
We were on the Friends Package and it was just perfect — we felt welcomed and relaxed the whole time. Everything was so well planned, with transfers, visits to places of interest and restaurant bookings making the trip so easy and stress free.
Phill and Kevin are outstanding hosts and have furnished the house with exceptional attention to detail, offering beautifully stylish and comfortable rooms, as well as gorgeous grounds. Their hospitality is truly exceptional and the delicious home cooked food is such a treat. We didn’t want to leave…

I stayed in the lovely Library room — but all four rooms are fabulous.

Outstanding guest house with excellent hosts and beautifully designed and equipped rooms. So welcoming, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Wonderful breakfast and home cooked food.
Great access to Toulouse airport and many stunning places of interest nearby — Albi, Gaillac, Cordes sur Ciel as examples.
A little piece of heaven in France!

Absolutely wonderful, the peace and tranquillity of the place is sublime. Our hosts were so attentive, nothing was too much trouble and the little touches make this such a special place. The rooms are beautifully decorated, fresh flowers from the garden, breakfast on the terrace with amazing views. Phill and Kev are very knowledgeable about the area and made some great restaurant recommendations and made reservations for us. Can’t wait to visit again!

After a recommendation, my friends and I chose the ‘Friends Weekend Package’ here. What an absolutely perfect weekend. Our hosts were so wonderful, it was like we were staying with friends. We were greeted with at the airport, transfers included. When arriving at Maison Murier we were then greeted with a cold glass of fizz and that’s how the weekend unfolded. Everything had been thought of, fluffy towels, beautifully clean and presented themed rooms, great bathroom accessories and toiletries. Even a whole basket of suncream, bug sprays and other goodies. The pool was beautiful, all areas were so well kept, clean and beautiful gardens. We were treated like family but left to have our own time too. The food was homemade and gorgeous, with choices that we had made with likes and dislikes fully catered for. Our restaurants were booked for us and we were taken and picked up from the beautiful local towns. We really had to only concentrate on enjoying ourselves! We WILL be going again. I cannot praise MM enough, we had just the most perfect time, that was all thanks to them!

We have just returned from our first visit to Maison Murier, we stayed for 3nights.
On our arrival, we were greeted by Phill & Kev, they made us feel extremely welcome and spent the whole time ensuring that our stay was extra special.
So much attention to detail has been made to all the rooms in the property, so elegant and chic.
Suggestions were given for local places to visit & a table at a recommended restaurant was booked on our behalf.
We dined with them for one evening, the meal was especially delicious and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Magical place, incredibly well decorated and comfortable. Phill was very helpful and kind. He provided us with tons on valuable information regarding the surrounding towns and must see places. Breakfast was delicious and we especially enjoyed the company of cute animals who added an extra touch to our stay. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the French countryside.

Phill and Kevin are amazing hosts in a stunning converted farmhouse with all the comforts you need for a relaxing holiday. The bedrooms are superb with great shower, hairdryers, mirrors and charging points all for your convenience plus lots of extra thoughtful touches — just lovely.

One of the best holidays we have ever had! Phill and Kevin are so accommodating… we really thought they were mind readers. An absolutely stunning property with breathtaking surroundings. The food, the people and the wine made it such a unique experience. We booked a friends package which meant we had different excursions on each day of our visit. We would definitely recommend doing this to make the most out of the trip. We really hope to return again soon!

I had the most wonderful stay at Maison Mûrier, and felt so incredibly well looked after and welcomed by Phil and Kev. The property truly is magical and the surrounds are absolutely stunning. The rooms are beautiful and all the added touches, from the fresh flowers to bath salts, made it even more special. There is so much to do in the area and Phil and Kev are highly knowledgeable and helpful in organising outings/activities. All the food was fantastic as well, using local produce or often fresh from the garden! I couldn’t recommend staying here enough, I certainly did not want to leave and will definitely be back!
